The company that designed the website have come out to refute the claims and said they weren't paid close to 10million naira and it involved design and regular maitainace, also phone and system as were designed. Going by your $600 a month maintained fee, let's say the website was to be maintained for 10years plus design fee..do you think 10million is still exaggerated?
The devils advocate huh

An am a very strong APC suppoter but this goes beyond supporting APC.

The allegation was that 78 million naira was paid for updating the website. The IT firm came out to say 10 million. Even that 10 million price is incredibly outrageous.

This is totally wrong.

I am a web developer so I would say that i have an apt knowledge of the Topic in question.

I have thoroughly reviewed the website and here is my professional opinion

1) That website is built on Joomla CMS. Fashola's IT Firm did not code that CMS from origin. The best they did was design a custom template for the CMS and no matter how amazing the template is, it would never cost more than $1000. Never.

2) The money would not have gone for the hosting. Dedicated Hosting plan cannot cost more than $50 per month. Even if He has to pay for 10 years, it would not be more than $6000

3) Since that website is a CMS, managing contents in the website would be pretty easy. The lie that the company is talking about that they would have to design hundreds of pages individually is bull crap. Updating contents in a CMS is just a 'click-to-upload' procedure. I am sure that most of us that are using the blogger CMS are already conversant with this process. Anybody that charges you more than $600 a month to update these contents is a gold digger.

4) Finally, i think fashola want to convert the website to his personal property. You do not register a government property with your personal name. What happens if you leave the government or the office?

We should learn to drop party or individual affliations and say the truth for the general good of this country and generations yet unborn.
The scales that blinded you are gradually falling off. You'll soon be tagged a wailingwailer undecided

Oshiomhole Gets Presidential Reward
Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State who has spent the last two months raucously attacking former Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala and casting aspersions on the Goodluck Jonathan administration has finally been rewarded by the federal government. The emperor of Edo has been pestering Okonjo-Iweala to explain all manners of completely wild and unsupported figures, ranging from $30 billion, $20 billion, $2.1 billion, N720 billion and now $1 billion. Well, he got his reward on Tuesday with Buhari asking the National Assembly to approve for his regime, a $75 million (about N15.75 billion) credit facility from the World Bank. The bank had approved a Development Policy Programme (DPP) for $225 million (about N47.25 billion) for Edo in 2012 and the programme is to be implemented in three tranches of $75 million per annum.

The first tranche was approved by the National Assembly in 2012. Buhari’s letter said the DPP had since been successfully implemented by the state in 2014, and the bank’s board of executive directors approved the second tranche. What is now left is the endorsement of the federal government and the National Assembly to access the 2nd tranche. The emperor of Edo State has now jumped the Buhari hurdle, thanks to the “good job” he is doing for the regime. What I find funny in Buhari’s letter was the note that the key objectives of the DPP were already beginning to yield fruit in terms of increased influx of private investments into the state, increased private sector employment opportunities, and increased internally generated revenue. Haba! All these achieved in Edo State? I am sure that many in the state will be shocked by these assertions.
This is part of the change agreement, attack the past administration and get rewarded. undecided

But if the people of Edo state are comfortable with mortgaging their future generation unborn, what's by business undecided

They can enjoy yhe money with Oshiomole and Iara while the generation unborn pay for it. huh

EFCC will close its eyes from this revelation under the pretext that a petition has not been officially received but if it were a PDP chieftain that was involved in this scam, Buhari would have made a soap opera out of it. I have always known that Fashola and APC are super-scam.
