GeneralBosco:I don't usually respond to unintelligible quotes as yours. Let me break my protocol Maybe the guilt of buhari's brutality is pricking your conscience, whether military or civilian freedom of speech and expression is a fundamental human right, I'm sure you've sold yours to animals |
Buhari said you were corrupt is that true? |
Everybody wants to express themselves under Gej's government but it was talk and die for Buhari and Obj. Enjoy it while it last |
Lying and deception are the core ministry of APC. The former is the core competence any individual must possess before admittance into the party, ask Lie Mohamed |
Jega is simply not sincere with Nigerians about the current situation with this revelation |
APC supporters are always afraid of hearing about buhari's certificate, because they know its non-existent. Quote me if you disagree |
Buhari's certificate deception still goes on. There is simply no rational, logical or moral ground to vote for Buhari. I believe and crave for Change, however, buhari's change is a monumental fraud on Nigerians. |
Good response, since they can differentiate between original and fake |
WisdomFlakes:Pls don't derail the thread if you don't know what to contribute |
WisdomFlakes:I just wonder how APC manage to disconfigure its followers into a robot lacking any sense of critical reasoning Pls read the post |
sincerenigerian:I don't insult people I would have called you **** I just posted a verifiable article, try harder to disprove it facts rather than condemn it. |
Jega is incompetent but has used the current security situation to circumvent his incapacity |
Editor’s Note: Cameroun-born Simon Ateba is one of Nigeria’s most controversial journalists. If he is not being beaten up by a Christ Embassy security team, he is harassing government officials with questions that make them loose their cool. Apologies to Mrs. Stella Oduah. But Simon has one thing going for him, he says it like it is, without minding whose ox is gored. In this piece about the Independent Electoral Commission’s (INEC) boss, Professor Attahiru Jega, Ateba digs deep and tells us, with facts, how Jega and his team at INEC were not prepared for the elections which were re-scheduled two weeks back. Ateba published the article on his website, www.simonateba.com. Article Highlights – There were about four million Nigerians for whom the PVCs had not even been produced. – INEC was not ready and lied to the nation only to portray security chiefs in bad light. – Until he redeems his image, Jega will be seen as a liar who had an agenda. It is now crystal clear that Attahiru Jega, the chairman of Nigeria’s electoral body, lied to Nigerians on why a general election here was postponed by six weeks. On 7 February, when Jega addressed the nation at a fully packed press conference in Abuja, the Nigerian capital, he told the nation that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, was ready to conduct the election but had to postpone it only because security chiefs claimed in writing that they would be fighting Boko Haram in the Northeast and would not be able to provide security for INEC staff, voters, observers as well as journalists. Jega insisted that he was so ready that even in Boko Haram controlled areas, he had distributed permanent voters cards. But it is now clear that all that was a lie, or at best, Jega was not being truthful. First, there were about four million Nigerians, more than the population of Gabon, for whom the PVCs had not even been produced. But jega said he was ready. Secondly, he had not even tested the card readers he was going to use on election day. There were roughly 150,000 polling units in Nigeria and INEC had only purchased 152,000 card readers without testing them in Nigeria. (He claimed he tested them in Texas, USA). Thirdly, INEC had not even trained staff on the use of those card readers. But he claimed he was ready. It was only after 14 February when the presidential and National Assembly elections were scheduled to take place that INEC Chairman at the invitation of lawmakers admitted that there were flaws that had not been addressed. Worse, on 7 February, seven days to the presidential election, only a little over 65 percent of registered voters in Nigeria had received their cards. There are a little over 68 million Nigerians who had registered to vote. Right now, over a week after the election was meant to have taken place on 14 February, INEC has only distributed 52 million cards out of 68 million. There are still 14 million people who have not collected those cards, mainly because INEC Chairman who hails from northern Nigeria, decided to distribute most of the cards in the north first where Muhammadu Buhari hails from at the expense of southern Nigeria where President Goodluck Jonathan hails from. As at now, only 75 percent of the cards have been distributed. But INEC claimed that it was ready. More worrisome, the figures released by the Nigerian electoral body on Tuesday last week confirmed the fears of many supporters of President Goodluck Jonathan who had repeatedly argued that Attahiru Jega, INEC Chairman, had distributed more voters cards in northern Nigeria where Nigeria’s main opposition presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari and Jega himself hail from. The figures released showed that while states in northern Nigeria have performed better, states in Southern Nigeria where President Jonathan is expected to do well in the 28 March election, were still lagging behind. Some members of Jonathan’s People’s Democratic Party, PDP, had accused Jega, a northern Muslim like Buhari of bias. But Jega has rejected such allegations and insisted that he would not favour any candidate. A breakdown of the figures released yesterday shows that the northern Nigerian State of Nasarawa is leading other states with 96.29 per cent of the 1,196,583 registered voters having their PVCs. Gombe State comes second with 95.05 per cent of the 1,120, 023 voters in possession of their cards. Jigawa State is third with 93.20 per cent of the 1,831,276 voters receiving their PVCs as of Monday. Katsina came Kaduna come fourth and fifth respectively. Coming from the bottom is Ogun State in Southern Nigeria where only 40 per cent of the registered voters had collected their PVCs. There are 1,829,534 registered voters in the state but only 747,556 of them had collected their PVCs so far. In the Federal Capital Territory, only 61.42 per cent of the 881,472 registered voters had also picked their PVCs. The figure also indicated that in Lagos State which has 5,905,852 registered voters, 3,685,322 which represents 62,40 per cent, have collected their PVCs. INEC has however said that 75.94 per cent or 52,275,367 of the 68,833,476 registered voters in the country have collected their Permanent Voter Cards. All the above data show that INEC was not ready and lied to the nation only to portray security chiefs in bad light. Until he redeems his image, he will be seen as a liar who had an agenda. With only 40 percent of cards distributed in Ogun State, Jega would have created a war in that state. The same thing would have happened elsewhere had election taken place. Let’s remain journalists and say what is bad is bad. And this is bad. http://www.naij.com/390965-did-jega-tried-to-deceive-nigerians.html |

dridowu:Just one MBU is enough to destabilize APC rigging machinery in Lagos and Ogun. Trust me, he's "The Great Lion Tamer |
courage54:He is mad for exposing your evil deeds......smh One question for you and the poster below me: How did APC configure you into a mumu robot that now sees white as black? |
Lying and deception are the core ministry of APC. So they are only fulfilling their ministry, no need for apologies ![]() |
what shall it profit a man if he travels through the length and breadth of Nigeria campaigning, eating and drinking with supposedly 'infidels', embracing and reconciling with staunch enemies, pretending to be tolerant by visiting and even contesting with pastors, borrowing 27million and even working adversely against his health and yet lose the election at the end ![]() |
What a height of deception!!! |
Like I said earlier, argument only makes a man of different view hardened and defensive of his views. If Jesus and all the holy apostles who are an example unto us didn't call on any dead believer to pray or interceed for them why should the catholic church invent this unbiblical practice? Do we follow the apostolic practices or the invented Catholic tradition? If you think Mary's motherhood will persuade God to Change his mind towards you maybe you should try EVE the mother of all mankind Even the bible says "ye are gods". At the death of Christ, the veil of the temple which covers the Holies of holies, preventing all and sundry from Gods symbolic presence in the ark of covenant was rented(torn), giving all and sundry an unlimited access into Gods presence. The only condition was stated by Jesus when he said "I am the way, the truth and the life, no one cometh unto the father but by me" NB: Mary was never in the context. Why should I trade this open cheque given to me through the death of Christ by engaging Mary? If I needed Mary to intercede for me as practised by the old Testament priests, then I don't need Christ and his death would be in vain. I urge you my dear brethren with: Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. |
Ubenedictus:Sorry dear, I didn't mean to insult you but rather appeal to your conscience. My cause will not be noble if I resort to insults. I don't like to argue cos it can never help you to win a soul, it rather makes a sinner to become defensive and hardened. I only subscribe to correcting an error with a fact through the Word of God, hence my approval of Bobbysworld28 permit me to quote you What is absurd there? The bible shows us the right way to use images! I am surprised you are simply rejecting it even though i already cleared the air that no one prays to images or adores them. I repeat my previous question, do you sin when your bible is in front of you and you kneel down to pray?Your logic in your first paragraph is skewed because you didn't quote where Jesus or Paul used an image. Sorry to say. Going by your 2nd paragraph, I suffice to say that you still belong to the old Testament(covenant). Let me help you by quoting from the scriptures Hebrew 7:22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. 23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death: 24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. 25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. Has Mary and other saints taken over the duty of Jesus? I don't intend to convince if @Bobbysworld28 couldn't do so. Shalom |
After reading through every post on this thread, I now deem it fit to comment on this juncture. @bobbysworld28 I covet your wisdom. The wisdom of God in you through the knowledge and understanding of his word has shut the mouth of the naysayers. Jesus said in Luke 21:15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. You've asked so many unanswered questions which Ubenedictus and others could not oppose but intelligently dodged it. If at all they have a conscience, they should be in a sober reflection on all the revelations on this thread. You've proven them wrong both in logic and through the word that we don't need any proxy to God. My prayer is for the Knowledge of God to full this world as waters cover the sea Shalom. |

JOB WAHALA!!! A graduate in Biology from University of Benin was having difficulty in finding a job. He saw an advert in one of the daily newspapers for a job at a zoo. In the interview, the manager told him that their gorilla, which had been tourists attraction has died so they needed someone to dress up & pretend as gorilla. The graduate was embarrassed, but since the salary was OK, he accepted the job. The 1st day, he put on the gorilla skin & entered the cage, he started jumping up and down, beat his chest & roared like gorilla. The next day, he put on a gorilla skin & started moving around the zoo again & mistakenly entered another cage and found himself staring at a lion. The lion roared & rushed towards him. The scared graduate quickly forgot that he is a gorilla & started shouting like human, "Help! Help!" The lion leaped onto him, knocked him to the ground & whispered in his ear "sodiq" it's me lekan, ur course mate. Shut up or we'll both lose our job.. ![]() |
