Now that mechanic has gone diabolical

Lol..this made me remember my brother's mechanic, he turned my brother to mobile ATM..I havent seen where a mechanic calls to wish his customers happy weekend..

It got to a point,my brother stopped picking his call,because anytime he picks his call,his car would develop fault..

It was the mechanic,who bought the car as scrap..

My advice,buy a good car,once it starts having complicated issues,sell it.

21 is not too young to think of marriage. By 21, I was in a full blown relationship with my husband and i knew then it was heading for marriage.

I have seen final year male medical students getting married. Some as residents, etc. If in his final year, he doesn't know what he wants, please move on.

Cos I believe if theres a break in communication btwn the parents and school authority, the case may be viewed as truancy on the part of the student. Asides meteing out physical punishment on students, There are better disciplinary measures that can drive the point home.

Hmmm!!!! The annoying thing is how majority of his appointments have been in favour of the northern region. Is that to mean other tribes are not competent? It would have been commendable if this people are sure to deliver, that would have helped a bit but most of them are at worse back dated in knowledge and current happenings like him. Take for instance the new VC of NOUN moving an entire system HQ from Lagos to Abuja cos of his percieved enemies. @op. U feel hurt its understandable but u must learn to let go of the hurts. Sometimes u need to see the positive side to every "negative", event in life. I'm certain if the heart can be viewed as a mirror, u will be able to see the measure of love ur dad has for u. Also u should know by now that African parents show love in diverse forms even in the most unexpected manner. Let the pains go cos it will help u never to be guided by fear of not scolding ur child so u dnt walk in ur fathers shoes. How would you feel if ur grown child looks u in d face and tells u how much he detest u for not rebuking him/her or not using the rod on them to avoid them making dangerous mistakes or decisions? Love has got two faces, the good side and the strict side. Even if u get to see the strict side more, its still love OK.

God!!! This is heartbreaking. Ur mum shouldn't have turned her back even when ur father did. I feel terribly pained at ur plight. Well just like others said, dnt expect so much from ur dad. If u are rejected by him at dis stage, know that they (ur parents) will one day find you as the solution to their problem. When they tell youngsters not to engage in premarital sex, they wnt understand. After u have enjoyed the act, u then run away from the responsibility that comes with it. No child prays to be born into the world without love from the parties that gave him life. And for those encouraging premarital sex, make sure u are ready for the responsibilities that comes with it and pls dnt put the life of any young girl at risk via abortion.

In few months i'll be 29years but am yet to know who my biological father is. I'm a 400level student of university of port harcourt from omoku in rivers state atleast so I was told by my grand parents.

I was told my mum was dating my dad and she got pregnant then they both decided to abort the baby, they went to a native doctor who helped them with native drugs she took severely but the pregnancy could not be aborted. My mum almost died in this process, it was then her dad heard about it and took her to the hospital where she was taken care of.

Well. The baby was born (me). My grand dad called the family of my dad to come claim their child and take up their responsibility. Unfortunately the night to the day they were supposed to come see my grand day, my dad left to lagos and has never returned to this day.

My mum got married and has 4kids now and her family is doing very well. She left me with my grand parent who raised me. I didn't even know she was my mum till I was grown.

She never care about me from day one. I went through hell to go through primary and secondary school cause her dad is very old and wasn't working.

I did a lot of things just to survive cause somehow God was just blessing the works of my hands until I decided to go to the university. My mum and her family is well to do in every essence and we live in the same town almost the same street but not in the same house cause I still live at my grand parents house whenever I return from school.

Now my pain is. How do I find out who my dad is. All my mum knows about him is that his name is Mr Oputa Onita from Omoku community in rivers state. When I confronted her about it she told me he has an elder brother by name Mr Ikechukwu Onita and this man was fully aware of what happened but they don't reside her in omoku town and I can't even reach them.

Am living like a stronger in my town cause almost everyone knows about this story so much that I don't feel comfortable even with my younger ones anytime I go visiting.

I don't know how to go about this but I feel it's time I need to fine out who my real father is because I believe I have the right to know. I have never seen him before, not even a picture of what he looks like.

My mum doesn't care about this and she doesn't even care if I exist of not. Someone who can comfortably stay months without calling or hearing from me. Anytime she sees me it's like I make her angry cause she never smiles whenever she see me. Just that sometimes she pretends to smile but we both know we don't have that mother and son connection or relationship which I've in so many ways to bridge the gap but still to no positive output.

All this affects me emotionally but I jut pretend to be okey. This sometimes make me jealous of my younger ones even if I don't desire to be. My immediate younger brother who am older then with about 4years is done with school and is living in a two bedroom apartment, has a car which his dad bought for him while am still struggling to finish school and staying with my grand parent in my one room apartment. No matter how much I try not to feel it sometimes it just gets to me and make me feel bad. But I suck it up cus I can't complain.

Truth is I am not looking for my dad because of any financial benefits. Am almost done with school and the time I would've really needed him is past. I just want to know who my father is and at least call someone the name dad and stop me from having this emotional trauma.

Now she's been trying under pressure to see me through the university after I managed to get admission.

Please good people of Nairaland. I am confused and I need help on how to go about this, I just need to know who my dad is. He's still alive and living with his family in lagos but I don't even no where in lagos and no one would give me any concrete info about him.

@op, babe its clear the guy has no plans for u. Just move on as mere friends with nothing attached. More so I feel its too early for you @21 to be looking for life time commitments that will distract u from achieving other tins of import. At this stage, just take ur time to discover things you are good at and how u can be productive to ur generation. As a lady develop a mindset outside the traditional "marry and bear kids and be there for that special man". More so pls change that mindset of introverts being the best lover. It does not apply in all cases. Their baggage is not easy to carry abeg.

Yeah I agree with you that some ladies do it on purpose but not in all cases. Each pregnancy comes with its own characteristic diff. For me my first was without cravings of any sort I was OK with whatever except for artificial flavours or seasonings. My second put me on a strict diet of boiled yam and palm oil. Gosh it was soooo delicious that the sight of any other food make me puke. It was my 3square meal for 5mnths plus. Dnt know what subsequent ones will be but I earnestly pray against cravings, morning sicknesses and the likes. Bodies and pregnancies differ. So in case u experience different manifestations, pls follow it with wisdom so u dnt drive the poor girl nuts.

@op, madam u are strong to have endured this much. I admire ur resilience, courage and strength through this period. I tell you not many women in our generation will take a pinch of it. From all you've said I see u also have ur faults which av being mentioned by others b4 me. I dnt want to repeat any but I want to draw ur attention to the need for you to be safe first. I understand divorce is far from ur list for now but it wnt be out of place for you to leave ur immediate environment and cut all forms of communication from ur hubby. U need to be away from him so u can think straight. Ur priority should be ur safety and unborn child. Ur hubby is not well and its known to his own family, u just did not know the gravity of his ailment. Sometimes being away from the one you love can help reset the person's brain to the right mode. When away do not be too quick to forgive and accept him back till he sees the extent of damages he has brought into ur life and family. First things first tho, leave that environment and be far from his reach. Its well with u. Pls embrace a prayerful life as well. God will see u tro.
