In Surulere constituency 2, the Lagos state house of assembly primary is inconclusive . K1 the ultimate’s daughter(Barrister Dammy Marshal ) has been going around the internet declaring and congratulating herself as the winner , but the results available online shows she came second .

Every other contestant in that primary election have been congratulating themselves as the winner . Like 2 different wards there was violence that made it impossible for elections to hold ( particularly Orile ward ) , yet the contestants are announcing themselves as winners .

The whole APC primary is a shame and it gives a grim picture of what one should expect come 2027 at the general elections .

The real winner or rather selected candidate will be announced by the party soon, Amuwo Odofin HoR ticket is also looking like it would be given to the runner up...

Carricks setup doesn't look like something that's gonna be sustainable playing every 3days man united doesn't have the defence to keep that tempo playing twice or 3rice weekly

United have bragging rights against all the big teams this season under Carrick, I made that assertion based on the points United had under Carrick. Of course the board have a major role to play in that, United must sign very good players who will fit the system and be hungry to paly well every game. Carrick also has to be ruthless with player discipline and commitment on the pitch

From the clips, reports, and the analytical websites he is a CM/DM who mainly plays CM. He is not a Bruno replacement.

That is if without having doubts about his ability to thrive in the EPL.

He is more of a Kobbie competitor.

The games i have seen him play, he played in attacking midfield position and was brilliant. It is even better he is an all round midfielder, a good signing if United can get him for £20m or less...

Now that Carrick’s job is secure maybe he can give a couple of them minutes in the last game of the season.

I would love to see Jim Thwaites and JJ Gabriel play the final game without pressure, i really like how Thwaites pay. Shea Lacey should also play, i think he would give Amad a serious challenge next season if Carrick decide to give him chance...

Now that the Managerial position has been sorted, the board should move ahead with identifying quality players to bring in. I expect Carrick to push for the signing of Hayden Hackney as a matter of urgency.

I dont think Carrick is on their level and we should be going for the best manager possible if all the talk of best in class is to be taken seriously.

Having said that, it is better we stick with Carrick than gamble on Iraola or another over performing small club manager.

Alonso is a non-starter because the stadium fans might turn on him at the first sign of trouble.

Can United realistically tempt Enrique from PSG? I don't think we can do it, also i don't think our current players including the incoming will be suited for the gengen pressing style i believe Nagelsmann will play. Carrick will need good midfielders/players and must also be tough with discipline in the team. Lack of discipline will see him fail quickly like Ole..

The Hackney lad seems to have a decent reputation in the EFL. Not sure we are looking his way.

For the low budget option(s), another alternative would be the "High Risk" South American league.

We need 2 DM, 1 CM to challenge Mainoo 1 AM (Hackney) to deputise for Bruno and other important position to strengthen. United spent big under Erik bald fraud first season, we can do it again this summer.
