engrelvis: With what am seen Yoro tendency of becoming a good defender is very slim.Heaven v more potential. His confidence for that age is superb. He shud be giving more playing time . Yoro started well at United and he was consistently praised here, he is having a rough patch now and we are turning on him. Same thing will happen to Heaven when he start playing regularly and having bad games. I think Yoro is better playing left CB but Maguire's presence pushes him to the right where he look uncomfortable.. |

afrodoc2: Bin Amad just like that? Una dey vex gan o.
Its not that easy o. If you bin underperforming players in the team to the point of binning Amad, nearly 10 players will be binned. The squad is already paper thin as it is for a Champions League campaign. If you bin 10 players where will you see the money to buy 14 players and where will you see the magician manager to integrate 14 players?
Even if Amad is underperforming. The solution should be to buy a better player and use him as a squad player rather than offload him. Amad dey vex me doc, boy is such a talent yet give very little for us on the pitch. Same with Mbeumo, Sesko and even Cunha and is not for lack of talent, players come to United and suddenly become unserious. I just hope the new players coming in will be different... |

adebayo201: It seems CL has transcend beyond what we know it to be before. Yesterday's Barcelona game against ATL was intensed, today's RM vs Bayern was even much more demanding.
We need to be serious about the transfer and get players who are ready to go overboard not the ones you'll be nursing and encouraging to be serious every week. The players we sign were serious and ambitious at the former club, abi is this how Mbeumo, Cunha and Sesko played at their former club last season? Whose to say the new players we are looking to sign will not become unserious when they join? Only Lammens has truly kept his performance level up in recent games among the new signings, we wait to see who the club sign and how they perform after joining. |

Anything short of that, Abiru will hold tight that senate seat but like you said, anything is possible with politicians. They can tell him to drop the senate seat for a ministerial position in 2027 Hakeem Muri-Okunola will be Governor of Lagos in 2027, Tinubu has nominated him and GAC has approved. But the usual noise and permutations will go on until he is official announced as Candidate. |

Looks like my fear that Carrick current tactics will be studied is now reality, Everton came into the game well prepare and knew how to easily cut our passes and block passing lanes, making Casemiro, Mainoo, Bruno, Cunha, Mbeumo and Amad ineffective for the better part of the match. Carrick has to do some tweaking and rotation going into the next games, expecially when playing low block teams. Sesko should start against Crystal Palace and maybe Heaven for Yoro (he was very uncomfortable against Everton)..... |

Leyqute: It’s easy to understand why Carrick starts Mbeumo over Sesko.
Even though he’s not a natural striker, Mbeumo takes his chances. He’s very clinical. Sesko sometimes kills your morale with his misses.
Remember the reverse Tottenham fixture? Sesko missed another glaring chance by doing like sugomu and even got injured in the process.
Untill he has that killer mentality consistently, Carrick might keep starting him from the bench— unless injuries force his hand. Sesko doesn't do himself any justice, see that Bruno assist he wasted. The team winning games is the goal so Carrick can stick with his winning team, i just hope other Managers are not taking note and preparing better against us knowing Carrick will always start same first eleven... |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by TrebleChamp(m): 8:26am On Feb 08 |
Ellexy: Few observations.
- Amad is a very good player however he needs to work on his end product. His numbers are very average in that regard. - Mbeumo minus the goals have been poor. His all round game hasn't been good at all. Struggles with control, can't dribble, easily pushed off the ball. If the goals dry up it will be evident. - Dalot has that RB role on lock. He's been good under Carrick, the curses and abuse has stopped. - Bruno was a bit selfish today in front of goal but I reckon he has earned it. Would have had a couple of assists today if he decided to pass instead of shooting. Your observation is accurate, most expecially the bolded. Reason i wanted Carrick to make a change to the starting team by moving Mbeumo to the left and starting Sesko (who didn't help himself with that silly header) cos Mbeumo is not effective as a striker and has struggles in the role in all 4 games under Carrick. Yes he has scored goals but maybe Sesko would have scored more if he start, just maybe... |

Ellexy: God punish Amorim and all his sexuals. Carrick has now won 4 games in a row, something he never did. He will probably be kicking himself for being too stubborn to change, maybe United would have had similar run of wins if he had switched to 4231 and paired Casemiro, Mainoo and Bruno in midfield.. His sexuals that were saying 343 was not the problem, have all gone mute possibly waiting for when Carrick loses so they can resume their "the players are not good enough to beat Wolves" take.... |

Amorim had a speciality of gaslighting the fan base into thinking the players were useless when in actual fact he was a useless tactician and a stupid, arrogant coach! People who are support to know football small started criticizing the boy because of Amorim, thank God we didn't lose him before Amorim was sacked. |
