The excuse is insane. Must we use Maguire and Shaw every game? If both players are deemed not performing and the manager continues to use them, then should not we blame the manager for not playing to strength or start benching them? Not like we have only two defenders in the team.

I don’t know why every team in the EPL seems to have a better starting 11 vs Utd, after the heavy spending over the last 3-4 years. Are we saying that if we swap our players for Brentford and Sunderland’s, we will start beating small teams? Nah! Amorim is clearly the problem.

Personally I feel Nigeria as a nation ; we have our own internal problems that are bigger than Israel bs Gaza .

In recent times we’ve seen increased killings in the middle belt involving bandits /militia and law enforcement agents .

As recent as this past weekend people were killed by bandits who have been invading different communities in Kwara state . Last week I read the NYSC camp in Kwara state was shut down due to insecurity issues. I’m sure Nigerians will be more excited hearing the government talk about how they will resolve these insecurity issues so life will go back to normal for people from those parts of the country than listening to any talk about Gaza .

The religious and the irreligious die in this country due to insecurity . Make our government focus on making the country safe for its citizens and let countries who don’t even care about Africans like us sort themselves .

Oliver Glassner at Crystal Palace has just 8 months to the end of his contract. He probably wouldn't sign any renewal with Palace and wait to see how things will go in the summer of 2026.


Manchester United on the other hand are obviously reluctant to sack Amorim right now under a year into his contract and have to pay him a £12 million penalty for his tactical ineptitude.


INEOS will probably write off this season and hope that Amorim keeps taking two step forward and one step backwards provided the team does not slip into a relegation dog fight.


The simple fact is that under Ruben Amorim this season is already looking like a write off with only SIX games played!
