Mainoo is the only first team natural technical midfielder we currently have, but we should do another bald fraud by selling him for peanut obviously because Amorim thinks he isn't good for his system. He has to improve no doubt, but bringing in Ugarte ahead of him against Assnal is rubbish coaching In my opinion...

That was how the board allowed bald fraud to sell off talented players like Zidane, Kovar, Avaro Fernandes etc, they should not make that mistake again by selling Mainoo. Amorim may not last the end of this season if results are still bad, the new manager might play 433 or 4231 which suit Mainoo well.

I admit I had reservations about this guy, why because I'm almost twice his age, a regular beer and pork suya consumer and yet our body build looked similar, he looked like any other Taofeek that plays Sunday league for fun but omo he impressed me today, I hope to see more of him

It looks like he is not fully fit yet, he would get better as the season progress.

People are free to cry about the loss, but the undeniable fact is United played the best football i have seen us play in a while against a big team and this is encouraging for me. We played Assnal who arguably has the best defence and maybe midfield sef, Amorim just need to stop his silly selection and substitution like bringing Maguire on when Zirkzee was on the bench. The result in the next match will show if it is truly progress or the usual play well against big team from last season..

Encouraging performance from the boys, if United can play like this or better against smaller team and of course take their chances, we will do well this season.

Amorim should respect himself with his crazy selection going forward..

What is Dalot doing in training that we don't see in real matches? I hope Amorim is not using Portuguese favouritism to select him, the otu ought to be among the players the club should be discarding...

I guess it is down to him having the right midfield partner, Case and Ugarte don't play like Rice. A Baleba or Wharton could be the better midfield partner but both are very expensive to sign this window..

Only Caicedo won more possession than Bruno last season. Most of you don't actually know what you saying most times. Maino was controling games for England at the euros just last year before his injuries.

Mainoo played in a 3 midfield England setup, he also excel under bald fraud playing in a midfield 3. This current 2 midfield 343 system will expose him and other for their lack of pace and mobility. Maybe a 352 will 3 midfielders could work if Amorim decide to be flexible..

Wharton will be very expensive too. Crystal Palace are about to get loads of cash from selling Eze and Guehi, so they will be very reluctant to sell Wharton as well.
