Jamiuokolaa: Rich PL clubs are on a mission to Fund Brighton's existence...
After they sold Caicedo for 100m, they paid 30m for Baleba as his replacement. Now they are looking to sell him for Megabucks after 2 seasons.
If Man utd never pay that mugu money, our body no fit calm down. It's in our DNA
I still feel its better than this Sesko deal sha - we are literally paying more for Sesko compared to what Reputable Goalscorers like Osihmen and Gyokores cost.
Osinmeh and Gyokeres clearly stated their preferred clubs so their was no bidding war, Sesko's case is different...
Seunpapa65: 🚨😲 𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐃! How Manchester United were able to FUND the Benjamin Sesko deal…
- United’s £12.75M wage savings on Rashford - Staggered payment structures on Mbeumo & Cunha - £21M in sell on fees - Chelsea’s penalty on Sancho - Reduced costs following major job cuts
You will drop another analysis when United bid £100m for Baleba next week 😁..
LostMyZeal: All the numerous chances these players missed last season are pointers that we need goal scorers and that seems to be what the club has prioritized in this window. If Garnacho & co could convert all those missed chances y'all think we'd be anywhere near even 10th position? E be like una dun forget last season easily. Most part of the games there were always chances but no one sharp enough to convert. The guy up there that first mentioned this is aboslutely spot on; our biggest problem was chance conversion and not the midfield. The goals would've sustained the awful results we got and at least kept us afloat.
Players come from the so-Called inferior leagues and tear EPL up so everyone deserves a chance.
Liverpool splurge on top Hugo big time. That one wey look like american rapper and not a footballer
E reach Man Utd time sermons full everywhere
Abeg make una calm down. Once the ball gets out of our half, it'll be up to our new front three to make magic. SO, we'd most likely lean towards a counter football style and not spend any time building up. We'd be having a lethal front 3 so the ball needs to progress fast.
And finally, if you think Man Utd dey buy all these players for Amorim then look well. We're actually going for players that'll slot in fine in any formation should the need arise. We aren't buying players suited to 3 at the back alone. We're preparing for eventualities and our first 10 features will either make or mar this coach. All eyes will be on the team before December.
Report even says Amorim wanted Victor Boniface as striker cos he plays in similar system, but Vivell chose to go for Sesko instead...
dreamxhaser: Guys don’t take this the wrong way. I am a die hard United fan.
But after this sesko deal I can’t wrap my head around the thoughts that players still want to come to United. Like why will any player want to come to United. I want them to but it seems like a stupid decision career wise.
Well, the biggest club England and second biggest after Madrid for a reason
afrodoc2: He plays with an urgency that we don't have in the midfield. He punches the ball between the lines. He has a narrow turning cycle. He is a good ball carrier. He has a decent passing range.
But i don't think he is ready yet. He makes unforced errors. He sometimes disappears in games, and you start wondering if he is playing. He sometimes gets bullied physically.
I am sure Oasis likes him even more than you, but he is not shouting for them to play him and not buy an established player. Highlights can be deceiving. It is better we introduce him slowly rather than waste another talent. Mainoo is on the precipice of being wasted here. Like Garnacho. Like Adnan. Even to an extent Rashy. Amad's more patient trajectory is the best way to go about things.
I want us to buy established midfielders too, but seem the board is not looking in that direction. Anyone better than Ugarte and current version of Casemiro will do for me...
Jamiuokolaa: I for like see this Kone in action tbh
Your PR for the boy has started yielding results
😁 Small highlights i saw of him is turning my head, i thought i would get the chance to watch him play for like 20mins on tour but that didn't happen. I think odizeey once said Kone reminded him of Pogba and was attacked for that comments..
If it was a fan here that said this now, busy bodies will begin to cry all over their mention. Even a blind person know that excuses will not be tolerated next season...
patrickmuf: I have not watched Kone, so I can't say but I am sure his time will come. My only fear now is that our midfield is so average that if Kone comes in and struggles, it might affect his confidence going forward.
I have been talking about this midfield issue, i am just worried that Amorim and the board are not giving it the top most attention it deserve. We don't need to break bank to quality Midfielders...
patrickmuf: Please reveal your true identity. Are you in anyway related to Kone or by any chance, his agent? 😂😂😂
If Kone is not good enough for the first team, then Collyer or Moorhouse shouldn't be in the first team next season too. If the board fail to sign a midfielder due to limited cash, then i would rather have Kone over Collyer in midfield...
We have a Kone we can develop to be a very good DM, but na Baleba, Onana we want. When he joins a French Club and Brighton later sign him for cheap. We know what would happen next...
patrickmuf: Safe for a few...I mean those who want Amorim to use a washed-up Casemiro, average Ugarte, injury-prone Mount, young Mainoo and inconsistent Bruno to finish in the top 4.
So what is stopping Amorim and the board from buying midfielders? At least majority of fans here agree the midfield need urgent improvement, and Amorim should know this too since he train the team regularly..
Segedinho: I Dey a bit bored and never want do alcohol
Make I argue small
😂😂
Do you think this people don't know Peter Obi is different breed from our regular polithiefcians? They know Obi is not corrupt, and they do don't hate the Peter Obi sef. They are just doing what they do to get at you and other obedient. No dey waste your time with this arguement....
Sesko agent met with Leipzig officials on Saturday to discuss his future, i guess the Club told him to choose both team to provoke a bidding war. I don't think United will win this race, cos Newcastle has more money to throw around...
Amorim should please demand for a DM before season starts, abi what is he seeing in that midfield that i am not seeing. The midfield is clearly the weak link...
afrodoc: With him there is a risk of repeating the Hojlund mistake. The saving grace now is that we have Mbeumo, Cunha, and an improving Amad to share the burden.
They say he is also good in the air, so maybe he will score some headers from crossing. It should be an easy deal for United if he agrees to join, cos report say Liepzig want Rasmus as his replacement...
engrelvis: Am getting of this Sesko drama. lf he is nt ready come we should move on. Their are still alot of players out there who will want to sign for us.
Me even want Watkins if Aston Villa does not over valuate him, Sesko is 22years and still raw for the crazy fee Leipzig is asking for...
Jamiuokolaa: You have further made my point for me..
If Man Utd - a club that was arguably neck on neck with Madrid in terms of reputation and clout at some point, is now being compared to Mancity's "early oil money mugu days" it just further buttresses the downward slope that I highlighted.
To be fair their was never a time we matched Madrid or Barcelona in terms of player pull, Players (especially foreign) would always choose Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, AC Milan over United. Reason why Fergie relied more on British players during his successful era...
Jamiuokolaa: In addition to agreeing to pay Broke Brendford a fee that could well be in excess of 70m pounds, Mbuemo needed extra convincing before he joined us ahead of Newcastle and Spurs
My position was quite clear - if a player is deliberating between Joining Man utd and Newcastle, it's a clear reminder that the mighty has fallen!
If we are at a point where extra persuasion is needed before a player chooses us ahead of Newcastle, Spurs and the likes, its a further testament to the depths to which the club has sunk.
Sesko potentially becoming the 3rd player to allegedly reject us in one Transfer window, is another issue entirely. Hopefully, it wouldnt get to that stage.
It is what it is!!
Do you know that United have been dragging players with them Newcastle, Spurs and co even during Fergie era? Which Club did we lose Alan Shearer to? Which Club did we lose Paul Gascoigne to? Was United in decline in those era too? Every player listens to the clubs project before choosing which club matches their ambition. United is not in Europe but we could still sign Cunha and Mbeumo and likely more players before window closes. I think the board is doing well by going for players who are really interested in joining the Club, at least they no longer offer crazy salary to tempt players into joining...
Jamiuokolaa: Officially, we are now dragging players with Newcastle, Spurs and the likes...
It is well
We are not dragging players with any club, United is interested in Sesko and so is Newcastle and maybe other teams. Newcastle has made a good bid matching what Leipzig want, but the deal isn't progressing cos Sesko hasn't made up his mind. Plus our options are limited due to lack of European football next season. My only worry is him taking too long to choose United over Newcastle, only players who truly want to play for United should be joining the Club going forward.
I know we have been shit for a while, but i think United should move on if Sesko (a supposed United fan) is taking too long to decide between us and Newcastle United. Unconfirmed report even claim he has chosen Newcastle after Jorgen Klopp advised him to reject United...
I stop my Mutv subscription in 2023 when bald fraud almost made me hate the club, i told myself that i cannot be giving my small money to United through subscription and they waste it on signing players like Mason Mount 😁. Shea Lacey is very talented i can see, boy looks a lot like Zoran Tosic in size and skills maybe better sef. He will make a fine RWF for the first team in future if he can get over the injuries..
afrodoc: Lol. We are getting the truth small small. Another fan who likes Reece Munro will be lamenting and criticising Amorim for not giving him minutes. Another fan who likes Dermot Mee would say the same. Even me that likes Ethan Williams can criticize Amorim for not giving him more minutes instead of 50m patient Mason Mount.
Meanwhile the manager wants to prepare the team for the start of the season but each fan with his own selfish agenda wants to feed his eyes on his own personal academy favourite.
Which one do you think is more relevant? LMAO
I really don't understand how you turned my post into an agenda against Amorim. Preseason is ment to build fitness and give all travelling players chance to show what they can do, Amorim made 11 changes against West ham and 10 changes against Bournemouth. I questioned why he did not play Kone against Bournemouth and you made it an agenda. It is a stated truth here that highlights don't tell the true story, and i am one who doesn't hype a player based on that. How is watching Kone play a match to know if the highlights matches the talent an agenda or criticism of Amorim? I still believe Kone is a better midfielder and should be ahead of Collyer in the team, maybe seeing him in a real match would change my opinion time will tell...
Reason i want him to play in preseason so i can have a proper look, but i guess what i want is not relevant. I use the small highlights to console myself..
