PoliticsRe: Q&a With Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Candidate For President Of Nigeria by tredkiller: 12:47pm On Nov 30, 2010
I think this man has got what it takes to make the change we all want. For all those who would not like to break away from the trend of recycling the same old thieves over and over again, they should borrow a leave fom Martin Luther King who once said 'The quality, not the longetivity of one's life is what is important' We either refuse to make a change and remain in perpetual sufferness or be bold enough to try something new other than what PDP has been imposing on us for the past eleven years and maybe good times is around the corner.
PoliticsRe: Ribadu/utomi Is This The Change We Have Been Waiting For by tredkiller: 5:59pm On Nov 28, 2010
Why do people in Nigeria believe its only the old and corrupt politicians that can win electons? With this sort of belief, we can never get the change which we badly need. It is high time we had a paradigm shift and try something completely different. We cannot afford to keep having the same story repeatedly without any hope, afterall the proportion of young voters is greater than any other group. Its our time, its our generation. Enough is enough. Anything other than the corrupt, greedy, clueless old generation is welcome. There is no harm in trying something new for a change. You cannot make a change without taking some some risks. The Ribadu/Utomi ticket is a risk worth taking.

BusinessRe: Russia To Construct Nigeria’s Nuclear Power Plants by tredkiller: 5:53pm On Nov 19, 2010
Dangerous and unwelcoming development! Where is the plant going to be sited? definitely not in the south. How are we sure is not going to be a sub-standard project in execution. Half of the money earmarked for the project will go into the pockets of corrupt officials in charge of the contract. I think it is better to die slowly from carbon monoxide poisdning from our fuming generating sets than being wiped off completely from the face of the earth!

CrimeRe: Another Nigerian Kid Shot Dead - London No Place To Raise Your Children ? by tredkiller: 3:38pm On Nov 17, 2010
I implore people to stop blaming the parents unnecessarilyexcept if you live in the UK and know exactly the situation and the dilemma most parents are experiencing. Here is a country where religions are not part of the school curriculum; there is a limit to which you can discipline your child under the guise of child abuse, you are not even allowed to touch them or speak hashly to them when they are wrong. You have to be careful on how to balance discipline and the rights of the child. The teachers at school are mindful on how to even speak to their students for fear of being labelled a bully and liable to prosecution and losing their jobs. So please don't be too quick in blaming the parents for the antics of their children. London is a tough place in bringing up a child. I bet the parents are doing their bests.
PoliticsRe: Say No To 'NAIJA' - Akunyili by tredkiller: 10:58am On Nov 17, 2010
If she had been in position of power when Naija changed her currency from Pounds and Shillings to Naira and Kobo, I bet she wouldn't have allowed it to happen. What an irony, she is the one that appeared to be unpatriotic here. This is the best rebranding that ever happened to Naija. Naija 4 life.

PoliticsRe: Say No To 'NAIJA' - Akunyili by tredkiller: 10:11am On Nov 16, 2010
The word 'NAIJA' is more patriotic and gives one more sense of belonging as a Nigerian than her useless rebranding Nigeria campaign where billions of Naira was wasted without any positive effects. I am proud to be a Naija and madam Rebranding can go to blazes for all I care. Nigeria was originally a european christening, its a name that should be dropped. Take a cue from Burkina Faso and  Ghana - (Upper Volta and Gold Coast).  I am ashamed Naija still retains the name Nigeria.

Nigerians are happy because they are are very gaullible; They would remain happy as long as they keep getting fake promises of better tomorrow from their corrupt leaders and fake prophets! Get real.

You look more like a wax work than a real blonde. You must be a fake. Are you sure you are not that Abakaliki girl turned down a couple of weeks ago for a nollywood film role? It was all your fault for experimenting too much with those cheap chinese bleaching agents. Common enough of that photoshop brushing and get real. You can' cheat your way into getting a nollywood role. Period.
