Hey Hey hey yeah its me again. I was asked on how to shape your eyebrows, so I decided to write something that might help a lil bit.
Determine where your inner brow should end. Hold a straight edge, such as an eyebrow pencil or a ruler, vertically in front of your face.

Line it up so that it touches the outermost of edge your nose and the inside of your eye. This line will determine where your eyebrow should start.
Mark that spot with an eyebrow pencil. Repeat for the other eye.
2
Determine where your arch should peak. Angle the straight edge so that it lines up with the outermost edge of your nose and the outermost edge of your iris.

It's very important that you look straight ahead — both your face and your eyes should be looking directly forward at the mirror.
Wherever the line intersects your eyebrow is where the peak of your arch should begin at the top border of the eyebrow.
Mark that spot with your eyebrow pencil.
Repeat for the other eye.
3
Determine where your outer brow should end. Angle the straight edge further so that it touches the outermost edge of your nose and also passes along the outermost edge of your eye.

This tells you where the eyebrow should end. Mark this point with your eyebrow pencil
Repeat with the other eye.
4
Draw a line along the bottom edge of your brow. This will determine the brow thickness.

Follow the natural curvature of your eyebrow.
5
Pluck the strays that fall below the line and outside the marks you've made.
Your eyebrows should be 1/4 - /1/2 inch (0.5 to 1 cm) at their thickest.[1]
Pluck minimally above the brow — you want to retain your brow's natural arch. Only tweeze stray hairs.
If plucking isn't your thing, try shaping without it.
If your brows are sensitive, use ice to numb the areas before you tweeze.
6
Consider your face shape. Certain brows better compliment specific face shapes.
To minimize the curve of a round face, direct the outer third of the brow towards the top of the ear.
If the face is square, direct it toward the middle of the ear. This helps balance the face.
If the face is long, keep the brow more straight across, directing it above the ear.
An oval face already looks balanced, but to enhance this harmony, you can direct the outer third towards the ear lobe.

Step 1: Wash you face twice a day:Wash your face in the morning and night.
Also use a make up remover to remove your make up before you go to bed.
Step 2: Apply toner: after you've taken a bath use a toner or a cleanser to remove any reamining impurities.Only use astringent if your skin is exceptionally oily. Astringent is a stronger type of toner that can be up to 60% alcohol. If your skin tends to be dry, using astringent could actually cause acne by driving your oil glands to overcompensate.
Using lotion in the morning acts as a primer for your makeup, helping it "stick" to your face throughout the day. Moisturizing at night helps your skin repair itself and stave off wrinkles. Bottom line, it's one of the best things you can do for glowing skin over the long term.

Consider using a lighter moisturizer during the day. If you're prone to breakouts, save the heavy cream moisturizer for nighttime and use a light or gel moisturizer during the day.
Don't forget your neck and décolletage. These areas can get super dry and irritated if you never moisturize them.

Exfoliate once a week. If your skin tends to be dry and flaky, a weekly exfoliation can clear out dead skin cells. Find an exfoliant that has a super fine grain, and don't rub it roughly into your skin — use light pressure and gentle motions.
A simple scrub of sugar mixed with honey makes a great exfoliator. Rinse it off with warm water.
You could also exfoliate with a dry brush made for the face. Brush your face using small, circular motions.

Protect your skin from the sun. Avoid leathery, tough skin by applying a light sunscreen every time you plan to be outside. The lack of sun damage will keep your skin dewy and supple for years to come. Remember, it only takes 15 minutes to get a sunburn, so be prepared.

Stick to SPF 30 — anything higher doesn't have much more benefit.
Search the makeup aisle for spray-on sunscreens that are light and dry.
Use a foundation or tinted moisturizer with sunscreen, so your face is already covered.

Still trying to do figure out how Nairaland works. Anyways I decided to write something about some make up routines. Every woman has this beauty inside waiting to just pop out. Lol okay if you want to get a glamour look like celebrities here are some cool tips on how to get the look

Step 1: Wash and cleanse your face and hands before you apply your make up: Using a dirty hand to apply your make up will cause blemishes, pimples, black heads e.t.c

Step 2: Foundation primer: Okay this is one of my favourite make up because it makes your make up to last for about 24 hours.Minimize facial imperfections by applying primer under, or instead of, your foundation. Primers are gels or serums that go on clear or with a small amount of shimmer. They minimize the appearance of blemishes and lines by filling them. Primer also evens skin tones and may add a hint of color or glow. Apply foundation primer as the first step in full makeup application, or wear it on its own for a natural, but polished look. So what you have to do is to apply the primer all over the face and neck.I recommend Sephora foundation primer, Rimmel foundation primer and Revlon.

Step 3: Apply your foundation: Allow your primer to dry before applying your foundation. If you want your make up to look more like it was done by a professional use a foundation brush it blends the foundation smoothly. You can also use your hands. I recommend Revlon, Mac and Sephora. I use Mac because its amazing.

Step 4: Concealer: Okay if you don't have pimples, blemishes e.t.c then you're lucky. If you've got pimples or spots just apply a pea size amount of concealer on the affected area. Dab it gently on the area until it is evenly distributed. If you have dark circles apply the concealer in the area. You can also apply it under the eyes even if you don't have dark circles. Applying it under the eyes would make your eye look brighter and bigger. I use Mary Kay Concealer or Cover Girl thick concealer. You can use a concealer brush but I feel comfortable using my finger.

Step 5:Highlighter/facial illuminator:
Highlighter is a csubstance you apply on your face to give you a beautiful and healthy glow.I use wet and glo face illuminator or mary kay highlighter. Apply it on your cheeks area, chin and forehead. Its actually good for people with square and round faces because it makes the face appear oval. You can also apply a small amount at the bridge of your nose up to make it appear pointed.

Step 6: Apply Face set powder: Use a powder brush to apply your set powder. Or a powder puff . You can use a powder sponge it always comes in with your set powder some of them are not really good. If yours isn't fluffy buy a sponge outside. I use Boujouris powder.

Step 7: Blush : Blush helps to make your beautiful face glow and look alive. Application is fairly straightforward but it's important to get it right to avoid overdoing the look. You don't want to look like a clown.Powder and gel blushes are good for oily skin; cream is best for normal to dry skin. Whichever type you choose, its shade should match your natural coloring, so try to pick one that reflects your colour when you blush normally. Make sure you buy a quality brush. Don't smile, that brings your cheeks up, and can make your blush to low the apples are the Apply the blush to the center of the apple on one side of your face, blending the color along your cheekbone round rises where you flush.

Step 8:Bronzer(Optional):Whether you have fears about tanning, very pale skin, or want to learn how to contour your face, applying bronzer is the ultimate solution. Applying bronzer incorrectly can make your face look orange or dirty though, so follow these steps for easy and perfect bronzer application. Get a bronzer brush choose a wide fluffy brush with rounded top. Make sure. You apply your bronzer in a bright lit area so as not to apply.Apply bronzer to the areas of the face the sun would naturally hit. Using very light strokes, first apply the bronzer to the top of the forehead, the cheekbones, and down along your jawline. Done correctly, your bronzer application will be in a "3" shape on either side of your face.

Step 9: Apply your eye make up: ill in your eyebrows with eye matte shadow or an eye pencil.Use an eye liner to create a cat eye or a smoky eye. Pand apply voluminous mascara.

Step 10: Apply your favourite lipsticck and viola. In the next topic I'll write about how to apply a lipstick plus the right shade of lipstick for your skin tone . smiley)

FashionBest Hairstlyes For Your Face Shape (square) by trendyME(op): 2:32am On Sep 23, 2013
right]Hey Hey hey everybody okay almost everybody has been telling me to write something about the right hairstyles for square faces. I always feel sad for some women because most of them have the most amazing face shapes but wrong hairstyles and I'm always like what!!!. so i decided to write something about it. Okay so are you ready? Yeah I bet you are.

Ready for a major hair makeover but can’t decide what cut will suit you best? Instead of being a slave to the hair trend du jour—or morphing into a hairbot—let the shape of your gorgeous face be your guide.

So I'll start from the basics on how to determine your face shape in just three steps
Step1: Pull your hair away from your face while standing in front of a mirror.
Note:stay in a bright area.

Step 2: take an eye pencil or a lipstick and outline your face with the object on the mirror.

Step 3: look at the shape and see if it corresponds with this six shapes; oval, round, square, heart, rectangle shape and diamond shape.
So I'm basically starting with the square face shape today. And have I mentioned that I've got a square face. NO?! Okay I have a square face shape and I Love it. Its no oval shape buh its coollll. And everywhere I go they can't tell the difference if my face is oval, square or round because of the hairstyles I do to accentuate my face shape.

SQUARE FACE: if you've got a square face shape then you tend to have a broad forehead in which the length is the same as the width. And you've also got angular jaw . I consider peeps with square face lucky because we tend to look good in photographs and I also read it somewhere that we live longer because of our face shape lol okay back to thhe matter.

If you have a square face then long layered hair is always good for your face shape because it makes your face appear longer.Big waves is also good. And then side bangs like Reese Witherspoon's [img][/img]. If you want to do a full bangs then it should be in the right place so as not to make your head look boxed up.[img][/img]. And off center parting can make your head look oval.

Do not pull all your hair back because it would show too much on your angular features[img][/img] and your make up also determines how your face shape would look like. But I'll tell you about that later chao
