Please while filling the Child visa application (5 years old). What option do I pick for the declaration;

1. I am the applicant aged 18 or over
2. I am the applicant aged under 18
3. I am the parent or legal guardian of the applicant who is aged under 18 and completing and submitting the form on their behalf
4. I am submitting the form on behalf of the applicant

I chose 3 but it keeps asking for a relationship to MA (which is me), then third-party declaration again. I just want to be sure I'm on the right track. Thanks.

1. Yes, you need to pay for both visa and IHS before you can book biometrics date.

2. You'll upload on TLS website, not on ukvi website. But you must submit all your uploads before biometrics. You can upload anytime before your biometrics or submission.

3. It's not guaranteed. But once you get your decision faster, it'll make it easier for your dependent to get decision since their application is based on the success of your own.

Please I need more clarity. I just got my CAS today and I was told here I can apply and book a biometrics date before getting my TB test results. TB is 12th so I’m looking at 14th/15th for biometrics (hopefully the dates are still available).

1. Does ´applying ‘ mean I will make the payment for IHS and visa fees before I can book a date for biometrics?
2. If I make payments, will I be able to go back and upload TB certificates for myself and my dépendants?
3. If as the MA I pay for priority visa, are there chances that my dependants will get faster responses?

Hi everyone! Please I need clarification on the following:

1. My Tb test is 12th Dec. Can I apply for visa without test result once I get my CAS so I can pick biometrics date within the 13th-15th? I figured waiting till after the test will make biometrics appointment too far.

2. Pof balance is 16m and my statement is 19m if for any reason the amount in the account reduces but not less than the required maintenance+tuition amount, hope it won’t be an issue for UKVI?

It means that before you get your CAS, the amount must have been in your account for 28days. No, you do not need to count another 28days after the money has been in your account for 28days. As long as it is up to 28days, once you get your CAS, you can apply for your visa with the same statement.

The money needs to be in your account for a period of 28days after which you print your bank statement and submit to get your CAS.

Same statement can be used for visa as long as you apply for visa within 31days of printing the bank statement.

Hello guys, pls I need clarification on POF. While filling the CAS form I see a note saying ‘the amount should be in your account for 28days’. Is it that I can get my CAS as long as the money is in my account now or I’ll need to upload the statement after 28days before I’ll be issued CAS number?

Also can the same POF submitted for CAS be used during Visa application or I’ll need to count another 28days when I apply for visa?

Hello all, I received an unconditional offer from Swansea University but there was no discount stated. I actually read on here that they do give a discount of 3k or is this no longer applicable?

I saw the international excellence scholarship on their website and would like to know if applying for the scholarship is the only way to get a discount. (If yes, is it guaranteed?)
