Everyone wants to know which LNB is better , whether the low Noise figure Lnb or the high Noise figure Lnb, for you to know the good LNB this is what you need know or check before purchasing an LNB.

If C-band LNB Noise figure is below 13k= Very Good- You will get a very good signals for all TP
If C-band LNB Noise figure is below 15k= Good LNB - You will get a good signals for all TP
If C-band LNB Noise figure is below 17k= Normal LNB- You will get Normal signals You may miss some Tp's
If C-band LNB Noise figure is above 17k= Worse LNB -You will get low signals for few TP's or some tp's will be found at all

mbc's channels are working ,both the one at the east and the one at the west ,it could be that your dish or LNB is having problem, mine is showing right now as am typing

Look satellite is nothing like mtn mask or network like you said. A satellite is placed in the atmosphere where you can have full access to it no matter where you as long as you have the right dish size and there's no long building blocking your view to the satellite. Please don't compare a satellite to an ordinary mask that's mounted on the floor. A satellite can be gotten very easily anywhere, all things been equal. One thing I have discovered about nigcomsat is the fact that it's sensitive, if you use old lnb, you might spend more time. Get a fresh lnb,(strong short neck adviced), keep away from long buildings, and know the fact that it's about 1inch to the left of dstv and about 1inch down,i guarantee you it won't take you more than 5 minutes to nail it.

Note: the new lnb thing is very important. Try this and tell us how fast you got it.

you have said it all satellite is not mtn neither is it glo nor is is it 9mobile , it is in the orbit ,tracking satellite required certain procedures tactics and patient otherwise u will conclude the satellite is not there, whereas it is your fault. get the right equipment know how to use them and be patient when tracking it, and also make sure you input the right frequency, symbol rate and polarization. that is all

yes, you can try resetting it to default

I have already tried resetting it to default, it keeps blinking without stopping until I have to remove the battery, In fact it refused to reset to factory default, the only solution I believe that will work out is to down grade or upgrade the firmware. And to do dat now is a problem because my pc cannot access it now.

When I connect it to either my system or Dvr to enable me configure it and when I tried to reset it , it continue blinking until eternity, is there anyway u could also rectify that for me?.

I have been watching MBC channels with 90cm for months now. However,I think it depends on your location and position of satellite you want to receive their signal from e.g 26.2East or 7West. Cos mine is from west.

For easy tracking it is better to get a Satfinder meter

MBCs are on, my children are watching it right now, maybe you are not at the right satellite position, there is one on 26.0E and one on the 7.0W but I preferred the one on the west ,but the choice is urs

You might not get 5e ,the gap between 26e to 5e is much on one meter dish ,nevertheless u can try it that is what we mean by research, no harm in trial, whatever your finding keep that house posted.
