Now, after his 8 years, can another southerner succeed him? No. It will be the turn of the north again and this time, Kashim Shettima will be in a pole place to take the presidency and likely be there for another 8 years. Put these years together and you have 16 years that an Igbo man cannot lay claim to the presidency again.

But it’s not so with Atiku…. If Atiku wins the presidency, he is only going to be there for 8 years at most. At the end of which the Igbos can lay claim to the presidency again.
