Post you email and I will forward a contact number for you. Still have a lot to say but not a big fan on typing. Best Regards |
I may not be able to write out all you need now but let start with this- 1. The first thing you will never hear about starting a poultry farm is security. Yes security. You are going into a business where your projections are based on the number of eggs for a period of time with running cost synced with you daily production. I tell client this- You have to secure you investment. Once you do not have this in place, you are gambling. By security, this means prevent any lose/reduction in expected output. Clearing a parameter of about 4meters around your pen house will also work for the snake issue. Too much of chemical control might affect your birds, so your approach of biological control (planting of tobacco leaf) and what i explained earlier might control abit. Remember must of the tobacco plant are hybrid, not as strong as the local once of those days-Please take note. Mechanical control in form of traps are also effective. 2. Know the breed of your birds. All breeds birds have specific strength and weakness, all you need to know is the best breed for what you desire and get the manual for the breed and follow religiously to the letter all you have in it.(In case you did not hear me right, all breed of birds have a manual which has all you need to know in it- feeding ratio, FCR(Feed Conversion Ratio), weight gain per week, water consumption etc. As regards what you explained earlier on your birds, black birds are not always the best in terms of laying but they have good body weight when it comes to selling end of lay birds. Black birds usually have more issues with heat stress and that affect their productivity. Though I usually don't like recommendations online but Isa Brown and Hyline breeds (usually referred to as brown birds) are not bad at all. They may not give you the best of body weight when they are at their end of lay but they know their business in laying of eggs if well manage. |

No, let the farm support store advice then you Google to learn more about it. |
A pesticide is a general broad definition of a substance used in the control of a wide verity of pest eg insect- insecticide, weeds- herbicides, fungi - fungicide etc So the poster is abit on point. If you are sure its a fungi, then find out which fungicides will be tolerant to you flowers and apply as instructed. And if you have anyone that runs a laboratory, take a fresh samply and let them culture to identify the fungi to make control more effective. Usually, their is a source from which you flower got infected in the first case. Find that source and concentrate your control from the ground zero. Most fungi are usually not thermophilic(heat tolerant) so fire might help in some areas also. |
You need to apply insecticide fast. You can get them at any local farms support store in your area. Ask for instructions on how to apply very well and ensure you go for a broad spectrum insecticide( ask for insecticides that will kill pest on contact, by ingestion and repel by smell) but also take note of the withdrawer period of application. For a more permanent solution, I suspect you might be having some uncleared area of land close to your farm. This acts as alternate source of nutrition for the pest during periods as this( Dry season) and would most likely migrate to your vegetables as they are more preferred to those alternate source. Clear a parameter of about 2m around you farm, plant some vegetable with this parameter and apply insecticide at interval to control migration to your farm. Remember, this will work after you may have control infestations with the farm itself. |

[quote author=gatiano post=30260012]You are wrong! GOD can not and can never die. This is the only never that there is. Do read the content of the message and not use the title of the message as content. The title is like the cover of a book (meant to get people attention to read and be blessed)and as we all know, you don't judge a book by the cover. So after a second look you will see we are both on the same page. The message is to uplift someone that may need a pat on the back for the challenges they may be going through that all is well. GOD CAN NOT DIE. |
THIS MESSAGE IS FOR SOMEONE. DO READ [AMP] 2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!], How do you know all is well? Is it when you live a life free of challenges? When you have not a singly care in the world? When your bills are paid and you have the best things in life at your disposal? All you ever have is what you ever will need and you need to see from the inside of yourself which is the real you( your spirit) that you are in this world but not of this world. The temptations/affliction/challenges of this world were never designed to bring you down but only to direct you to your expected inheritance. Without an exam, their is no promotion. Without the challenges of this life, we are not promoted. No matter what you face or are facing right now always remember this three words. GOD'S NOT DEAD. For He is Alive In Us. |
Let starts from the beginning 1. An idea is a vision that comes to one after a conception is formed , usually built over a period of time. Your vision cannot be shared with everybody to the point of seeing what you see. This is why it is not a good idea to startup a farm and hand it to someone else to manage for you. I usually tell my clients, it's like given birth to a baby and leaving it to someone else to raise. 2. You have no formal knowledge or training on what you are about to go into. Like a new born baby that mummy will be around to put you through before you start managing things on your own, in farming- this is not the case. Their are people who are waiting to rob you dry at every junction of your journey. Invest in training yourself. You may also hire a consultant to put you through, but many in the industry or prospectives have not yet keyed into this (reason good once don't come cheap). Hope I gave a bit of insight to your question asked? |
Nice cages I must say. What brands are you cages?- are they imported or fabricated here? Are the cages galvanized? How many bird per cell that makes up the 120/unit? How many nipples fall in each cell? Thank you. |

POWER OF EXPECTATIONS For surely there is a latter end [a future and a reward], and your hope and expectation shall not be cut off. Proverbs 23:18 [AMP] To bring clarity to what am about to talk about, we need to first understand the words expressed in the title. According to the English Dictionary, the word Expectation is the prospect of the future; grounds upon which something excellent is expected to occur; prospect of anything good to come, especially of property or rank. In the light of the above explanation, our power of expectations is a vital tool in bringing to reality our desires. Our power of expectation is also a function of the information we have. The information we have is a prerequisite to our expectation, which means that whatever knowledge we have helps forge our expectations. In Luke 8:43-48 and Mark 5:25-34, the Bible give an account of the Woman with the issue of blood. In the midst of a crowd that gather closely around Jesus. She had heard about the miracles that Jesus had done(information) and told herself that if only she could touch Jesus garment, She would be healed(expectation). What makes her different among those that gather around Jesus was not the fact that She had an issue of blood but that She had use the information She had heard about Jesus to create an expectation of healing which She received while others where just around Jesus, . "Your expectations are a benchmark and focal point of bringing your desires to reality". In Psalms 62:5 [AMP] reads - My soul, wait only upon God and silently submit to Him; for my hope and expectation are from Him. Many people have not received from God because they are not expectant. If you pay your tithes and offerings and sow regularly into God’s Kingdom, there is nothing wrong in expecting a harvest from God. An expectant mother goes shopping and prepares a nursery in anticipation of the baby. The information we have gotten from the Word of God is the foundation of our expectation. We are positioned for Greatness in the realm of More Grace, how can we not be successful. Our limitations are figments of our imagination, walls without foundation. We are the ones that have been given the Right of the First born, we are destined for greatness, why BECAUSE WE HAVE THE POWER OF EXPECTATIONS WHICH WILL NOT BE CUT OFF, HALLELUJAH |
