Good morning good people of nairaland, we noticed that people who have contacted us need to understand that the weight of the turkey (minimum 15kg)is very important as this is the only yard stick our client has indicated. So please be sure of the weight of your turkey. Thank you. |
Many thanks again to all those who have chatted with us. We are grateful. Looking forward to seeing what you have. |
Would like to add that 15kg is the least weight needed but if you have turkeys of a bit lesser weight we still can still chat on this. |

Yooku:Thank you so much for your reply but I have gone through majority of website on this topic with very little information like what I have read here. Just need a fellow Nigerian in the agriculture field in Canada to correspond with. Thank you all the same. |
To all who have contributed, I am filled with so much gratitude for expirence you have selflessly poured out, God bless you all. To call you Gurus, is an understatement, you are more that Gurus. Thank you once again. I notice two thing by ready from the first page to the last that: 1. Not so much has been said about Winnipeg Manitoba as compared to other province. Could anyone please open up the needful as regards this province? 2. What is the prospect for an Agribusiness Consultant with about 14 years work experience, with a first Degree in Botany, Post Graduate In Crop Protection and MBA In Agribusiness (all degrees obtained in Nigeria)? Taking into perspective that Certification and work experience in Canada are prioritised over and above degrees not obtained in Canada? 3. Where would be the best province to settle as per job/business opportunities with someone in the Agricultural Sector? Is their anyone living in Manitoba with useful information on the above? What is the agricultural industry like in Winnipeg Manitoba? Do you need to be certified? And what type of certification would be best? Thank you. |
tripleace:Any good advice for the above question($) ?Thank you |

Still waiting on the gurus. |
Since I noticed the above, I stopped driving the car and to my supprise after some day I started the car and the D4 light was off but the maintenance required light flashed and went off. On putting the car in gear, the D4 light came on and stayed again. Am just wondering, should I just change transmission fluid as it has being quiet some time now even though I don't really drive that much. Please also not that I just service my car too. |
Before this incidence, all was normal as in when gear in D4 all light all other lights are off likewise when in R or any other gear, all other lights stay off too. |
When driving, the D4 light stay on as normal and all other lights are off but when in any other gear, the D4 light stays on. |
greenhulk:When in R, the D4 light is still on Thank you for your reply. |
kayceekleans:Thank you but mine isn't blinking. |
Good morning all I have a honda accord 2002 in great conditions as I don't spare expenses in maintaining it. Just about a day ago from the date of this post. The D4 light came on and it is still on. Read through most topic that are related but have not really seen one that relates to mine. I am open to suggestions from gurus and anyone who has solution to this issue. Thank you and God bless you. |
Nice work. Please apply caution on your running cost in relation to you expected revenue. It is assumed that 200 bird will consume a 25kg bag so do the maths. Underfeeding will delay your birds from reaching peak and your production might not be stable as your bird will not lay until they have consumed the right quantity for them to lay. I wish you the best |
Spent layers, depending on breed like ISA brown( commonly called brown layers) weigh between 1.7 to 2.2kg approximately. The black spent layers are usually heavier in weight. |
Ahyjo:You have very little info to help you with. But I will advice you take the birds to a lab for proper analysis. |
Thank you for your call and patronage. |
This is great I most say. I have done a bit of mechanise farming and I would like to congratulate you in advance. ( I love your 4 wheel drive tractor). A s regards your 2 Wheeler and the front tipping up, I am not too sure how the counter weight will work because it usually happens to me when my plough/harrow gets stangled with a tree stump. So what I simple do is use the automatic lift level to raise the handles holding the attached implement as soon as I feel the drag. You asked about planting experience on one hectare well what we simple did was that we could not use our planter because we observed it was dispensing more seed per hole that expected(please note that our planted was not brand new like yours but you still have to check this out to avoid too many seed in one hole and later paying extra for thinning) so we got top quality seeds tested their viability and planted manually with manual planting poles and marked ropes for plant spacing. We used poultry waste for manure (we had a very big poultry farm). Yield was about 2.5 tonnes per hectare but your should be better Your spacing too will determine your 30,000 stand per hectare and the soil nutrient gradient distribution will influence the overall performance/yield. |
You still have the opportunity to buy your Christmas Turkey for as low as #14,000 and #15,000. Hurry and avoid the rush while stock last. Remember we operate on first come first serve basis.

22 Day to Christmas. |
135 Turkey remaining, Thanks to all who called and purchased from us . God bless you. |
obstead200:I most of the standard farm support store should have it. I even say on at the Poultry Show in Abeokuta. |
The blocks for your pen is too high. Maximum should be 2 blocks above the ground, you need to remove the iron sheet from the side of the pen because the iron net mesh will cover that side. This will help your ventilation in future. Whatever you read from books, jounals, internet is not the same thing as the field work. Talk to other poultry farmers and observe and learn. |
You also need more feeders and drinkers fast. |
