LASG BEGINS ISSUANCE OF APPOINTMENT LETTERS TO NEWLY RECRUITED SCEONDARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

The Lagos State Government has commenced the issuance of appointment letters to the newly recruited teachers of Secondary Schools in the State.

Speaking during the exercise, the Chairman, Lagos State Teaching Service Commission, Mrs Elizabeth Olabisi Ariyo expressed profound appreciation to the present administration led by Mr Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu, for excellence and quality performance in ensuring the best always, she explained that the new entrants have shown the desire and zeal to join the pull of productive and efficient teachers Government parades in Secondary Schools across the State.

According to her, “this set of successful candidates have gone through the required screening process, oral interview and micro teaching exercise where they have be found eligible for the role".

She affirmed that the standard of education is mostly determined by the quality of teachers in the system and as such, the State Government is desirous of improving the overall architecture of the State Education.

While congratulating the newly employed teachers, Ariyo encouraged them to give their best to the profession and ultimately be good role models to Students.

Also speaking, the Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Mrs Toyin Idowu Awoseyi, emphasized that the present administration’s focus on education is geared to ensure students across the State get the best hands to impact and tutor them to success.

Awoseyi declared that these set of teachers are the first batch of successful candidates, affirming that names of other successful candidates will soon be released accordingly.

We have done everything needed to be done, cbt test, micro teaching test, oral interview, verification of certificates etc...... no more test sir/ma, what we are waiting for is the letter of employment/appointment. Thanks

Sir/ma, not about local govt or so, they only invited those that had, B.Ed, NCE or other teaching qualifications and most importantly lasdiri card. They didn't reckon with TRCN or others.

Please when are they likely to call us for our appointment letters?

Nothing like 250 questions in any of the groups of the test and stop fooling yourself.

I was in group one... the test was fine. 50 questions for 40 mins

I just want to confirm if that's the reason why some of us were not sent message.

I don't think the make use of the TRCN certificate because I don't have..... maybe they use the lasdiri identity card.
