Most of us have concluded baby document just awaiting travel date before the shutdown. God will lead us aright. Malevonent: yes, its a bit confusing. from the link posted from the nigerian govt, the covid-19 test would be done, when the plane arrives nigeria...and then the 2wks quarantines. my fear is, if a carrier boards that plane...he/she may likely infect some passengers.
i undertand ur predicament, usa is damn expensive, a decent 1br apartment costs as much as 500k per month,...and for those on birthing trip...its a serious increased expenditure. with the usa embassy in nigeria closed, how are people able to notarize the consent form, to process the baby passport? as on the us website, its expressly stated that if both parents are not in the usa, the absent parent should sign a consent form and notarize at the embassy
also for the baby, are they doing visa on arrival, or the nigerian consulate is functioning in usa and able to provide nigerian passports for the infants? |

Thanks. Most of the people requesting evacuation are those that came to the US to v a baby and those on holiday that got caught up with ther border closure. I feel it's even safer to travel back home now than when the airports resumes full operations. Covid 19 test may be a requirement to board any plane or enter any country going forward. It is not really feasible for me to continue to stay here. Until there is vaccine, the risk will always be there. Why do u think most of those on board will be covid 19 carriers? More precautions maybe taken than when it's a commercial flight since we are currently in the middle of the whole thing. What do you think? Malevonent: NO ONE has been brought back yet, learnt fg is still trying to tie up so many loose ends, especially quarantine hotel in lagos/abuja, and total cost to be borne by returness
@triplet2015, are you coming back with baby?, is it safe to actually be in that flight with many would be covid-19 carriers?. unless fg asks usa for help to screen each passenger before the flight, ie the 15mins covid-19 test

Thank you for your prompt response. This is well appreciated. Chicagomum: You can apply for extension if the evacuation doesnt work. I applied for extension sometime in 2013 when i was stamped for just 2 weeks and I had to extend my stay on medical grounds. I used a lawyer to apply for the extension. You must apply before your visa expires else you would have overstayed and will be penalised. I dont know if they will bend the rules in this case. Contact USCIS and ask them how you should go about it. All the best. |

TokyoBulls: You can get drivers from daily match making sessions at 4.00 pm in Uber office. If you run a commission model (ensure you have good time to manage the driver and car otherwise there will be more stories than you expected), you can give your driver between 15% and 25% depending on your choice and driver's performance. I used to run this model and I started with a flat 20% commission on after Uber earnings. As I became more experienced, I moved to graduated earnings and gave 15% for less than N80,000 after Uber, 18% for between N80,000 and N90,000, 20% for earnings between N90,000 and N100,000, 22% for between N100,000 and N120,000 and 25% for earnings above N120,000 after Uber. However, I do not do commission model any longer. All my cars and drivers are on rental model and the driver gives me a fixed amount per week @TokyoBulls- Thanks for your prompt response. I really appreciate. |

TokyoBulls: Do you own a 2008 (or newer) car in good working condition in Lagos or Abuja and are looking to earn up to N100,000 per week by putting your car on Uber platform? The same car that currently gulps your money and is easily taunted as a liability can become an asset. You can drive the car yourself, hire your own driver or use one of our hired well trained and professional drivers.
Are you a current driver with a valid driver’s license, Lagos State Driver’s Institute license, excellent customer service and a good knowledge of Lagos and/or Abuja? Are you currently employed but possess these qualities and want to earn more? You can earn up to N120,000 monthly by becoming one of our private Uber drivers. Great thing is you decide your working conditions.
Interested persons can send emails to UberLagosSpectre@gmail.com and UberLagosSpectre@yahoo.com. Kindly share broadly. Thanks Hi @TokyoBulls, Thanks for the updates and necessary information. I am about to put my car on the UBER platform, I have gone through process. I am at the stage of getting a UBER certified driver. My questions are: Can you recommend a reliable UBER certified driver, What is the best Partner/Driver arrangement based on your experience over the years. |

Hi mummies in the house, I v been a silent follower of this thread. However I v learnt a lot from dis thread. I v been trying to conceive for d past 5yrs and to no avail. I v been struggling with hyperprolactinemia since uni days which has also caused my period to stop. I v used bromocriptine but this condition is yet to be resolved. I listened to a radio programm whereby a woman from Olayimika Natural Hospital said it can be treated using herbs. I ll appreciate it if anyone with similar condition can share their experience with me. Pls has anyone also heard of this natural hospital before. I NEED HELP. THANKS |
