Maybe they needed to interview you due the fact that u had ur baby during your last visit if am right. A friend was called for interview cos the last time she visited was for birthing her baby.

That could also be a reason, I paid all my fees and I have documents to back it up.

It's not a denial. Maybe they needed to be convinced of your travel purpose. You'd definitely be invited for a scheduled interview. Just be prepared and respond with whatever info the VO requested in the 221g letter, which will accompany your passport. Good luck!

Hello everyone,
I submitted my application for IW 21st of march, checked this evening and saw it was refused.
Does that mean am to show up for physical interview?
Am yet to receive a pick up mail though.

You can drop you IW application (passport, DS160 confirmation page and 2 passport photos) at DHL Isolo, VI or Surure

I was booked for March 10 2023 and i have had previous US visits and never refused. So i don't know if to go to the consulate at VI to drop off or go to IKEja dhl

I think you should send a mail to the embassy, they will assist you.

I applied for 6 months standard UK visa and had my bio on the 11th of this month.
Just got a mail that my passport is ready for pick up.
No refusal letter.
Does that mean my visa is granted?

Passport picked, Visa stamped.
All I can say is visa application is not one size fits all.
I had a lot of doubt about my application because of my SOA but God came through.
Don’t underestimate God factor.

Just update your profile in the appointment system. If not possible, send them a email via feedback. In any case what is require for the interview appointment is
1 DS-160 confirmation page,
2. international passport
3. 2 colour photos

If your the name on your DS-160 form does not match the name on your passport or payment receipt from GTB. You will have to send a feedback mail, within the appointment system to US embassy for correction. You may need to upload documents so support the name change.

My DS- 160, passport and payment receipt All match (e.g Adams) but when I downloaded my appointment confirmation I noticed my maiden name on the appointment made by (e.g Hassan) which is my maiden name but the applicant name still matches with Adams.
I hope you understand my scenario now.

Please I have a name mismatch
Upon downloading my appointment page , I noticed the surname on my applicant name and appointment made by are different.
The former is my marital surname while the later showed my maiden name.
Please how do I go about this?
I don’t even know how I didn’t notice it while filling the form.
Although I have been using the same email address for my applications and these will be my 4th.

Please I need a link to fresh visa appointment group on telegram, the link is not working.
