Please stay in Nigeria and invest in building material, I invested around 200k in 2017, to God be the glory with patience and deligence, I am worth multi million.... This is just to encourage you that if u invest rightly, Nigeria ais the best place to be, ppl complain abt Nepa, but I run gen every time for my comfort and I am about to complete my 4 bedroom flat somewhere in Lagos (remote place though).... Pls think wisely, only a few can boast of having 6mil in account. All the best on yiur choice
You're suffering and smiling, raising your kids with generator sounds all their life will do a long term damage to their health. Nigerians really don't know the real meaning of peace of mind.

Could you please calm down and read between the lines and besides I never directed the advice to you. Black man phrase has nothing to do with this please. Is left for the op to apply his discretion. Is there love in this world before?
Yes there's love is this world. Have a good day.

In the past 4 years, we have seen headlines of how other countries will soon abandon fuel consuming cars and start using electricity. We have seen headlines of economies booming or new inventions happening all over the world. Pictures of Nigerians who go abroad to enjoy a better life with better infrastructure and better standard of living.
Has it occurred to us that in the past 4 years, the only serious headlines that has graced our eyes in this country is who efcc arrested and who they did not arrest. Ghost amounts that had been recovered that we can't see both in cash and infrastructure. While the world has advanced in 4 years, we have been chasing ghosts. Father , help us in this country. Don't let this curse of a man remain with us any longer. We gave done our part but you know you have the final say. Remove the worm that has spoilt this nation that we may come alive again. Give us a leader whose words are your words and whose heart beat is your heart beat. Thank you. Amen.
Keep waiting for a white man from the sky to save you. Be logical with your thinking and stop being religious. That's Nigerians number one problem. They think God will solve everything.

Just like others have said, be smart and trust no one. As regards accommodation, it all depends on your financial status.
Be smart...don't go with the mentality of trust no one, later you guys will complain why there's no love in this world. Black man sef.

I understand you bro
Please with 800k do you suggest I come there or find an Asian country?

Can I survive and start making little roi with such amount?
I'm Advising you as a real naija guy, Life is really good here, electricity is 24/7, good roads, cheap food and the people have good mentality here..overall the Cost of living here is cheaper than Lagos and honestly you'll feel more at home here surrounded by your fellow black people than living in Asia. You'll survive here as a naija guy and your budget is good, don't be discouraged... I know it's scary moving to a completely new environment..but you'll Adapt.

If you have a good certificate and can speak French..you'll get a good job.
But if you wish to do business..then you'll find lots of Nigerians in Adjamé doing different business there like I mentioned above.

I mean I don't want to reside in the cocody area because it's quite expense.. I wouldn't want to waste time and scarce resources, is there anything one can do to get money while waiting for a befitting job?? I don't mind hacking anything if I can make at least 5000cfas daily
Bro even aboki here can afford to live in cocody..don't be discouraged. Cocody is like Lagos with different areas.
What part of Lagos do you reside currently?

And for that quick money i can't advice you on that without having the experience myself. I hope you get my point.

If you feel bored, I suggest you join your village or state meeting. There, you will connect with a lot of people. There is one primary school close to St Charles lwanga Catholic church Adjame. Visit there on Sunday, as it serves as venue for all Igbo meetings. If you are Yoruba, enter most small scale building material shops. Na Yorubas mostly get am. If you are an Hausa, talk to Suya sellers. If you are a Catholic, go to same Charles lwanga on Sunday by 8am. If a Muslim, you will meet many Yorubas in the mosque.
Thank you for the enlightenment cheesy
i meet with most Nigerians at the Nigerian restaurants ..it feels like home there.

If you can't afford to live on the island part of Lagos..stay back in your state.
The mainland part is the real definition of shythole. Everyone is living suffering and smiling.

As a new immigrant, he needs to start from scratch so staying in cocody won't be advisable because rent is on the high side in cocody.
True,
Also note that cocody is quite big and not all part are on the high side when it comes to rent.
Just like when you live in lekki, Ajah..

Food and transportation system is cheap too.
Water and electricity bill cheap too.

In my own opinion and experience, houses are more expensive in Lagos lekki, ikoyi..etc area than cocody...but cocody is way better to live than any place in Nigeria.
