View source: https://www.trendiee.com/news/mother-found-messages-teacher-son-suggesting-party/ A teacher has been banned from the classroom for life after he suggested a party with a schoolboy. Grant Foyle, 29, referred to the boy, known as Pupil A, as ‘his son’ in Whatsapp messages that included sexual pictures that he sent. According to Metro UK the messages were found by the boy’s mother when she became concerned about him. Foyle, who taught at Brighton Hill Community School in Basingstoke, was found guilty of unacceptable professional conduct and conduct that may bring the profession into disrepute. Pupil A said a photo of an open condom wrapper had been sent to him by Foyle along with a comment with reference to the wrapper. Foyle said he sent it by mistake but the panel did not believe him. He also sent photographs of himself to Pupil A but did not accept that they were of a sexual nature. Chairman Fiona Tankard said: ‘We found that these were inappropriate, albeit not of a sexual nature. ‘However, a photo of an open condom wrapper must be inherently sexual because of its use.’ Messages included: We don’t have to chat at school we can go somewhere else Should we meet and talk this weekend When are we going to meet to chat Fancy coming over and chilling…that’s not meant to be in a creepy way I would happily pick you up son Chair Ms Fiona Tankard said: ‘Mr Foyle repeatedly made reference to matters of sexuality including experimentation, threesomes and sexual practices and preferences. ‘We found the persistence and suggestiveness of Mr Foyle’s correspondence with a pupil very disturbing.’ View source: https://www.trendiee.com/news/mother-found-messages-teacher-son-suggesting-party/

View source: https://www.trendiee.com/news/trump-named-childrens-word-year/ Donald Trump is not just the main talking point in politics and the media, the US president appears to have also captured the imagination of schoolchildren. ‘Trump’ is children’s “word of the year”, according to research by the Oxford University Press (OUP). The US president’s name saw an 839% increase in usage across 130,000 stories submitted by schoolchildren for BBC Radio 2’s annual writing competition. Other popular words were ‘Brexit’ and ‘fake news’ in the stories, written by children aged five to thirteen. “Trump is mentioned in a wide variety of contexts, from the US elections and politics, to tales of space, aliens and superheroes, giving expression to children’s creativity, playfulness and humour,” the competition organisers said. The stories feature a wide selection of Trumpian characters, including Boggle Trump, Snozzle Trump and Trumplestilskin. One 12-year-old boy imagined a dystopian future in his story in which all personal interactions, along with newspapers and books, were banned. “Nowadays you were only allowed to communicate through tweeting alternative facts,” the boy wrote. The organisers were impressed with the number of children who had used the word in a “sophisticated way” to “convey satire and humour”, such as the child who imitated Trump’s bravado and bombastic style in a tale about space travel which included the boast: “I am going to make the moon great again!” In 2016 ‘refugees’ was children’s word of the year. ‘Hashtag’ was the most popular word among schoolchildren in 2015. View Source: https://www.trendiee.com/features/technology/whatsapp-allow-users-5-minutes-recall-messages-sent-mistake/ Next time you send a message intended for your girlfriend mistakenly to someone else on WhatsApp, just chill. You may have soon a five-minute window to revoke such misdirected messages. According to WABetaInfo, a fan site that tests new WhatsApp features early, the mobile messaging platform has moved closer towards introducing a ‘Recall’ feature. With this feature, the users will be able to recall or unsend texts, images, videos, GIFs, documents, quoted messages and even status replies within a five-minute window, The Independent reported on Tuesday. The messaging app will enable ‘Recall’ in version “2.17.30+” of the app. The current version of WhatsApp is 2.17.190. “WhatsApp has added in beta the possibility to edit messages that you already sent. It is actually disabled by default and it’s under development,” an earlier WABetaInfo’s tweet read. The users will be able to edit only recent messages and not the old ones. With 1.2 billion monthly active users, WhatsApp is available in more than 50 different languages around the world and in 10 Indian languages. The Facebook-owned platform is also believed to be considering bringing back the old contacts list that vanished with the arrival of ‘Status’, but only for iPhone users. View Source: https://www.trendiee.com/africa/zambia-suspends-48-opposition-mps-snubbing-presidents-speech/ Zambia’s parliament suspended 48 opposition lawmakers on Tuesday for boycotting a speech by the president, widening a political rift that has alarmed rights groups. According to Reuters, Parliament’s speaker barred the United Party for National Development (UPND) politicians from taking their seats for 30 days, a move that banned them from the building and stopped their pay. Their party, which was defeated in August elections that it said were rigged, called the suspensions unconstitutional. The lawmakers boycotted President Edgar Lungu’s address at the official opening of the assembly in March, saying they did not recognize him as leader. A month later, the UPND’s leader, Hakainde Hichilema, and five others were arrested and charged with treason after a column of opposition vehicles failed to make way for Lungu’s motorcade. Amnesty International has said the treason charges are “trumped up” and called for the politicians’ release. View Source: https://www.trendiee.com/news/man-freed-from-prison-after-17-years-as-researchers-find-his-lookalike/ A US man who spent 17 years locked up for a crime he did not commit has been released from prison after researchers tracked down his lookalike. The Evening Standard reports that Richard Anthony Jones was sentenced for a robbery in 1999 in Roeland Park, Kansas despite there being no DNA evidence or fingerprints linking him to the crime scene. At trial, he said he was with his girlfriend and other family members in Kansas City on the day of the robbery but he was convicted after eyewitnesses claimed he was the culprit. He was sentenced to 19 years in prison and unsuccessfully appealed his case several times. In 2015, he told researchers from the Midwest Innocence Project – a group that helps wrong convicted prisoners – that fellow inmates had told him he looked identical to a man called Ricky, who also lived in Kansas. The group tracked him down and discovered that he lived within 10 miles of the crime scene. Mr Jones’s lawyers later showed eyewitnesses and the prosecutor in the original case photographs of the two men but no-one could tell them apart. A judge ordered that Mr Jones be released and he walked free last Thursday telling the Kansas City Star: “I don’t believe in luck, I believe I was blessed.” He said he is now getting used to life outside of prison and said he is happy to be back with his children. A criminal case has not been brought against his double who has denied committing the crime. I’m not a feminist, so don’t look at me like that. I’m just a lady that believes we are all equal, using the word feminist to me is so depressing so I will rather go for “Equality” I’m not your ordinary day lady or a take away pie you pick from 5th Avenue, so don’t treat me like trash, even after you have promise to give me the World. I’m not just a girl you can fake for, I’ve been addicted to Hollywood since childhood, I’ve seen many sunshine, am afraid your shadow won’t make a difference. I’m not your punching bag, so don’t ever think of hitting me, if you are ready to hit someone, I will direct you to WWE , where real men makes us laugh. A man was indicted Thursday for “masturbating vigorously” outside of New Avenues for Youth in downtown Portland on May 3. Court documents say that when a Portland police officer responded to a complaint of public indecency at the location, the officer saw Terry Lee Andreassen, 59, “with his erect penis exposed to the public.” When Andreassen saw the officer, he “put his penis back in his pants and began to walk away.” Documents say that when the officer asked Andreassen whether or not it was appropriate to masturbate in public and why he was doing it, Andreassen told the officer that he was on meth and wanted to go back to prison, because he “f–ing hates Portland.” This is not Andreassen’s first time acting inappropriately in public. He has convictions for public indecency going back to at least 2001. An affidavit from a 2014 felony conviction for public indecency says that on Aug. 30 of 2014 Andreassen was observed “laying on the sidewalk on NW Couch between 1st and 2nd Ave…across from the exit of Jones Bar.” View source: https://www.trendiee.com/news/man-arrested-masturbating-vigorously-public-hates-portland/ |

A new biography of French President Emmanuel Macron has revealed his parents shock when they discovered their 16-year-old son was having an affair with his married teacher. Much has been made of the fact that Mr Macron is married to a woman 24 years his senior he met as a 15-year-old schoolboy when she was a teacher at La Providence, a private school in Amiens, northern France. Writer Anne Fulda, who penned the book Emmanuel Macron: A Perfect Young Man, spoke to the politician’s parents about the scandalous affair that began while Ms Trogneux was a 39-year-old married mother-of-three. The schoolboy’s parents had believed their son was dating his teacher’s daughter, Laurence, until the truth came out through a family friend.Shocked at the illicit affair, the Macrons removed the intellectually gifted teenager from the school. His mother, Francoise Nogues-Macron, told Ms Fulda: “We just couldn’t believe it. What is clear is that when Emmanuel met Brigitte, we couldn’t just say, ‘That’s great’.” But she added: “What mattered to me was not the fact he was having a relationship with Brigitte but that he was alive and there weren’t any problems.”Realising the affair would not be a passing phase, she is said to have told the teacher: “Don’t you see? You’ve had your life. Do you know any of them that can be done remotely? I know there are a lot of remote internship these days |
Summer is almost upon us and with it comes summer internships. The tech industry is famous for its internships. With more open jobs than the industry can fill, companies use internship programs to scout for talent and to give them a leg up when making offers to graduates. And that means interns in tech are up for some pretty exciting experiences, full of interesting work, parties, and great pay. Job hunting site Glassdoor sifted through its giant databases of self-reported salaries to come up with this list of the best-paying tech internships, based on at least 25 salary reports in US dollars by US-based interns in the past year. In cases where companies offered the same median monthly pay, the company with the greater number of salary reports entered by former interns into Glassdoor’s site receives higher rank. “Her wedding ring stares at me each morning from its new place on the bathroom counter.” She’s a ghost of her former self and glides through the house still taking care of business. Sometimes I hear her laugh on the phone talking to someone about something. She has developed interests in anything that isn’t me. Romance and sex are long gone and she claims she has lost all interest in ever being “that woman” again. She doesn’t need that anymore. Space. She just wants space. She’s left me…but still sleeps in my bed.” ♦◊♦ The Early Trouble Signs Men sometimes miss the cues that signal pending trouble. For example: • She’s avoiding deep conversations and intimacy of any type for a few months or more • She’s taking time off by herself or with friends more than ever before • She’s drinking more heavily, staying up much later or sleeping in longer than usual • She’s accidentally spends the night on the couch…a lot • She’s unusually critical, sarcastic and/or disrespectful • She’s unusually nice, chatty and/or sexual • She’s treating the kids, her friends, her hateful sister, the dog and the cat nicer than you • She’s showing a sudden interest in the balances of your retirement accounts • She’s never smoked but just started • She’s much more bawdy and foul-mouthed than usual When you ask her “What’s up?”…she says, “Nothing. Everything is fine!” If this was a teenager, you might just take a deep breath and hope for the best. But we’re talking about your wife. This is different. ♦◊♦ Why Women Check Out But Never Leave Here is my trusty expert wisdom on why women start detaching from you and your marriage, won’t admit there’s a problem and don’t leave. I really don’t know anything for certain. I don’t know your wife and I don’t know your situation. And I don’t know you – another obvious variable in the equation. Here’s what I do know. She’s not going anywhere soon. You’re living in “Limbo Land” because she is living in “Limbo Land”. There’s something going on and she is in no condition – mentally or emotionally – to explain it to you. But I’ve been listening closely for years and this is what I hear women say: • I feel smothered • I feel stuck • I feel numb • I feel trapped • I don’t know who I am anymore • I don’t know if I’m supposed to be married • I don’t know if I’m supposed to be married to him • I don’t know what I want • I don’t want to be unhappy anymore • I don’t trust him anymore • I don’t feel any romantic attraction anymore • I don’t trust myself to BE myself in this marriage • I just don’t want to feel like this anymore! My husband and I have been married for five years (together for eight), and we have two kids under the age of three. As you can probably imagine, our sex life has had its ebbs and flows. I also suffer from chronic back and neck pain as well as carpal tunnel, which not only causes a lot of pain, but also makes me feel like a grandma rather than a youthful sexy woman. Despite all these obstacles, we both wanted to do something to re-ignite the fire and bring regular sex back into our lives. We talked about scheduling sex or even trying one of those sex regimes where you just have sex every night, whether you’re in the mood or not for 30 days until it becomes routine. But none of those options felt very romantic, and even after many years of marriage and two kids I still need a little romance to enjoy sex. We continued to just have sporadic sex when both of our schedules lined up and we weren’t too exhausted (or too achy), but it became more and more infrequent. My husband was always trying to initiate, which, while flattering, eventually made me feel guilty for not being as eager as he was. So I started doing research to find a solution and the answer I found really surprised me: A SEX CHAIR. It was early July, and we were on our way home after a botched date night. My spouse’s mood was off, once again; this chronic melancholy, this little Eeyore cloud hanging over our lives and saturating everything in miserable little droplets. It happened all the time. The unhappiness had put a wedge between us for years. I, the happy, bubbly, social person on one side; my partner, the quiet, brooding, isolating one. And on those rare nights we could sneak out for a meal or a drink, I would grow resentful when the Eeyore cloud starting pissing all over our parade. “I wish you would tell me what’s going on with you,” I said as we drove home from the coffee shop. “I can’t,” she replied. “Enough of that. We’ve been together 22 years and you’ve been unhappy the whole time. Everyone can see it. The kids and I can feel it.” “I know,” she admitted. I sighed. “Is it me? Are you unhappy with me? With our family?” “No, it’s not you. It’s not the kids. This predates all of you, trust me.” “Look,” I said. “I’m tired of brushing this under the rug. I think it’s time for some honesty. Nothing will get better if you don’t tell me what’s wrong.” “I can’t,” she insisted, staring straight ahead, hands firmly on the wheel. I thought of potential big secrets and just started guessing. “Are you gay?” I inquired. Hey, it happens, right? Maybe she wasn’t as into me as my ego wanted me to believe. “No,” she said. “OK.” And then I just threw it out there. “So, do you want to be a woman or something?” Silence. And suddenly, I knew. But I had to ask again because I needed to hear the answer. https://www.trendiee.com/confessions/my-husband-is-now-my-wife-and-our-marriage-has-never-been-better/ |
Huang Guangyu’s rise from his impoverished childhood to great wealth was swift. He dropped out of school and left home when he was 16. Two decades later, he was a billionaire entrepreneur and the richest man in China. His fall from grace was even faster. In 2010, he was sentenced to 14 years in prison after he was convicted on charges of bribery, insider trading and illegal foreign exchange dealings. Huang Guangyu was born in Chaoshan, southern China in 1969 to a poor family. In 1985 he dropped out of school and went into business with his brother. The duo borrowed 4,000 yuan from friends and family to fund their enterprise. Huang and his brother realized that cheap products from southern China could be sold for a handsome profit in the north. It wasn’t always easy going. For instance, Huang tried to trade fabric but had no concept of seasons, color, or fashion and no one wanted his fabric. That’s when the brothers realized that everyone uses electrical appliances, so there was less risk there. Still, they didn’t always have the money for inventory. One time they stacked empty boxes at their stall and if a customer came along, one of them would run off and buy it from another vendor in the market. By the late 1980s, Huang had founded Gome Electrical Appliances, a retail chain selling home appliances. It was a revolutionary idea at the time. Have you ever found yourself pretending to be someone you’re not in front of someone you wanted to impress, only to have it backfire on you in the end? I know I’ve certainly experienced this in my own life… How not being authentic worked against me I was forty-four years old, and divorced after 26 years of marriage. It was Valentine’s Day, and I had just agreed to marry a wonderful man. His two children from his previous relationship were NOT happy about the news of our engagement. “Congratulations,” his 11 year-old, Michael, said. “Just don’t expect me to come to the wedding.” His reaction was an unpleasant surprise to his father and me. I understood that Michael, in particular, wasn’t exactly thrilled about us deciding to mesh our lives together, but… I figured that time and love would turn things around , and so I married his father After I got married, I continued to make a dedicated effort to win Michael’s acceptance and affection. I continued to be very kind and sweet to this child, despite his disinterest in getting to know me. And, even though I’m a very happy and positive person by my very nature, I do have moments when I feel tired or just plain challenged by something that’s going on, just like everyone else… moments where I may not feel like smiling. But no matter how I was feeling in the moment, when Michael would walk into a room I was in, I’d always make sure I had a big smile on my face to try and make him feel welcome and comfortable — so much so that, sometimes, my face would hurt by the end of the day! Pretending to be someone other than who you are only broadens the distance between yourself and the person you’re trying to establish closeness with. I also ignored certain behaviors that were actually starting to drive me nuts on the inside… Even though I’d never let my own children get away with some of the things that Michael was doing, I thought that by Full story: https://www.trendiee.com/articles/are-you-pretending-just-so-that-others-will-like-you-heres-my-story/

They walked hand-in-hand into the victory rally, embraced and kissed on stage: Emmanuel Macron, winner of the first round of the French presidential election, and his elegant blonde wife Brigitte. At the lectern, the man now expected to beat Marine Le Pen in round two – despite not having had a political party until starting the En Marche! movement a year ago – made sure to thank all those who had helped him get so astonishingly far. Then he turned, smiled at her and thanked the most steadfast supporter of them all, his wife Brigitte: “always there, and what’s more, without whom I wouldn’t be me.” The watching crowd chanted its approval. Her name echoed around the hall: “Brigitte! Brigitte! Brigitte!” It was to any English observer who knew the back story, a charming reminder that if he wins the final round in a fortnight’s time, Mr Macron will continue the fine French presidential tradition of having a love life to boggle and amuse stolid Anglo-Saxon minds. Aged 64, Ms Macron is a grandmother-of-seven and 25 years her fresh-faced 39-year-old husband’s senior. Even better, perhaps, they met when he was 15 and she was his married, private school teacher – with a daughter of the same age, in the same class.
