The Super Eagles of Nigeria are in Pot 4 ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup draw billed for Friday, December 1 in Russia and Amuneke believes the team can show their class if they brace themselves for the challenges which come with playing at the biggest stage like the FIFA World Cup.
“The World Cup is the biggest stage for any team or player to show their prowess and the Super Eagles should not be cowed about the prospect of beating the top teams,” Amuneke, who is the new coach of Al Khartoum Watani of Sudan, said.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Tuesday called on intending applicants to ensure they study and get acquainted with the 2018 brochure before applying for the examinations.

The Head of Information of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Mr. Fabian Benjamin, reiterated the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria in Abuja.

He also said that the brochure was detailed enough to inform the candidates, as it is designed to give the candidates a clearer idea about the entire examination and admission process and explained that this was necessary, as it makes it easier for candidates sitting for the exam for the first time to get familiar with the entire process.

Benjamin said the brochure could be easily accessed from the JAMB website, Youtube and other social media sites.

He also said that admissions were ongoing in the respective tertiary institutions, adding that successful candidates would be enlisted soon.

This, he said, was to minimize the errors that usually occur during the registration process.

It can be recalled that Trump had in the past had verbal war with Kim which really got international peace calculators unsettled and worried about the danger of an accidental war.

Amid escalating tension over Pyongyang’s nuclear and missile programs ,in September, Kim described Trump as a “mentally deranged US dotard” whom he would tame with fire. He made those comments after Trump threatened in his maiden United Nations address to “totally destroy” the country of 26 million people if the US were threatened.

North Korea has steadily vowed to keep racing toward its goal of developing a nuclear-tipped missile capable of reaching the United States and this is something Trump has vowed to prevent.

On this Issue Of Purgatory:
I have dug deep and found that the Biblical deductions which Catholics made for which they believed in a place called Purgatory are two:

1-All sins are not equal
2-Nothing defiled shall enter heaven. (Rev 21:27)

The two points above are connected to Purgatory in that , they believe that if all sins are not equal, then all punishments due to unequal sins can never be equal. And since nothing defiled shall enter heaven, their question is, "where would people who died with very slight impurities go after death?" Surely they cannot enter heaven because of slight impurities and they cannot out-rightly go to hell because their impurity is slight and not enough for eternal damnation.So they go to Purgatory .

So if you want to challenge the Catholic belief in Purgatory, you must first disprove, their believe that -- All sins are not equal since some sins are deadly and can lead to hell, whilst some are not so deadly but can still disqualify one from entering heaven. Then you also need to disprove the Catholic believe that "nothing defiled shall enter heaven". If you can disprove these two points, then you can disprove the reality called Purgatory.

From my research, these are the reasons why Catholics believe that all sins are not equal:

(1) They believe that all iniquities are not equal because, if all iniquities were equal, then God should punish all sinners equally. This will make God a liar because the Bible said in Romans 2:6 and 2Corinthians 5:10 and even Matthew 16:27, that God will pay every man according to his deeds.It did not say that God will pay all men equally.So men's deeds carry different levels of reward or punishment before God.

(2) Catholics also sight Matthew 12:31-32 to prove that all sins are never equal.There, Jesus clearly, without mincing words, explains that sin against the Holy Spirit is not equal to other sins and because of this, other sins could be forgiven but the one against the Holy Spirit can never be forgiven. This is because although both actions are sinful, one sin is more grievous than the other: Look at the very words of Jesus..

“Therefore I say to you: Every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but the blasphemy of the Spirit shall not be forgiven. And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but he that shall speak against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, nor in the world to come” - Matthew 12:31-32.

(3) Matthew 5:22 is another example always quoted by Catholics.There, Jesus again preached about the inequality of sins and inequality of punishments due to sin in Matthew 5:22 when He said:
"But I say to you, that whosoever is angry with his brother, shall be in danger of the judgment. And whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council. And whosoever shall say, Thou Fool, shall be in danger of hell fire"
Here, Jesus clearly shows two unequal offenses that deserve unequal punishments. He says that there is an insult that can make one liable to the council and another insult that can make one liable to hell fire; yet insult is insult.

(4) Another Catholic example is in Luke 12:47-48, where Jesus preached inequality of sins and inequality of punishments due to sin: Jesus said

“And that servant who knew the will of his lord, and prepared not himself, and did not according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. But he that knew not, and did things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes".

(5) Catholics also claim that 1John 5:14 -17 supports their position when it clearly pointed out that there are sins that lead to death and those that don't.

It is easy to tell Catholics that the wages of sin is death! Hell! And they(Catholics) should stop propounding a second chance of salvation called Purgatory. But they(Catholics) quickly refer you to 1 Peter 3:19 , where the Bible clearly confirmed that even Jesus visited souls of people who died in disobedience but were not out-rightly sent to hell.

Another place of Catholic reference is 1Corinthians 3:13-15 where the Bible clearly said that some people found wanting will still be saved but through fire.Catholic theologians will tell you that , that place where salvation still occurs through fire is not Hell because in hell their is no more salvation.They also insist that, that place of 1 Corinthians 3:13-15 is not heaven either because there is no cleansing fire in heaven.They call that place Purgatory.

Catholics also defend praying for the dead with 2Maccabees 12:45-46, because the living prayed for the dead there, that they may be loosened from sins still holding them from reaching God.

So, in summary The Biblical roots of purgatory is on the fact that ,if a person dies with stains of non-deadly sins not properly cleansed when the person was alive, the person cannot enter heaven because nothing defiled enters heaven.The soul will not go to hell either, because the uncleaned stain it got from non-deadly sins is not enough to lead it to hell. Hence they say that "Purgatory is that place of purification kept for souls who die in the grace and friendship of God but still have some imperfection in them, in order that such souls may acquire the unblemished perfection required to enter heaven".
Catholics know that the word Purgatory is not in the Bible but they also remind everyone that even the Bible said in John 21:25 & John20:30 that it(Bible) does not contain every word Jesus said or everything He did .Therefore people should not expect the Bible to mention the word Purgatory before you believe it.

The Feast of All Saints is a Solemnity in honor of All Saints Known and Unknown.It is celebrated yearly on the 1st of November and is also a time for invoking the intercession of such known and unknown saints.

Of all Catholic Saints, Mary the Mother of Jesus is the most honored till date.Whenever Roman Catholics delve into the communion of Saint's controversy, the issue of "Praying through The Virgin Mary " becomes the central topic.There is one central prayer which is at the heart of all Catholic devotions to the Virgin Mary.It is the "Hail Mary" prayer.

The prayer goes thus:

“Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee, blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus, Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death - Amen"

This prayer has real bearing from the scriptures:

§ 'Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee’---See Luke 1:28

§ 'Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus’---See Luke 1:41-42

§ ‘Holy Mary'----See Luke 1:48 i.e. “Henceforth all generations shall call me blessed”. If all generations including our generation shall call her blessed, then she is Holy.
§ ‘Mother of God’---See Luke 1:43: Saint Elizabeth recognized Mary as Mother of her Lord even when Jesus was still in the womb of Mary through the influence of the Holy Spirit. Then in Matthew 2:11, the 3 wise men gave the baby Jesus divine worship and adoration even though Jesus was still a baby. Jesus is a single person biologically born of Mary, hence Mary is His Mother.

However, if Jesus her son is God also, then Mary is the Mother of God. Show me a Christian who says that Mary is not the mother of God and I will show you a person who says that Jesus is not truly God.

§ 'Pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death '---see Jeremiah 42:2-3. If we go to this book of Jeremiah, we have the following:

“And they said to Jeremias the prophet: Let our supplication fall before thee: and pray thou for us to the Lord thy God for all this remnant, for we are left but a few of many, as thy eyes do behold us. And let the Lord thy God shew us the way by which we may walk, and the thing that we must do"

The message comes clear when we replace the name 'Jeremiah' with 'The Virgin Mary' in that passage. If we do this, then Jeremiah 42:2-3 translates to:

“And they said to the Virgin Mary, Let our supplication fall before thee, and pray thou for us to the Lord thy God for all this remnant, for we are left but a few of many, as thy eyes do behold us. And let the Lord thy God shew us the way by which we may walk, and the thing that we must do”

So when I say to Mary "pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death”, I say almost the same or a little less than the Holy Bible said in Jeremias 42:2-3. However this is not the main problem: Many of those who hate the Rosary already know those passages. They even know that Saint Paul supported the act of intercession in 1Thessalonians 5:25 and 1Timothy 2:1­2. They have other objections which I have divided into eight groups:

GROUP 1:

Some of them say that praying through Mary is Necromancy or some fetish invocation of the dead. They argue that there is nothing like communion between living and departed saints and I think there is a fundamental problem with their argument. The problem is that they think that death of a holy member of Christ renders him or her useless, incommunicado, and spiritually impotent. They don't know that physical death of a child of God is mere transformation or sleep as Jesus called it in John 11:11.

Those whom you call dead are actually alive in Christ and more powerful than you are. Jesus Himself in John 11:24-25, explained that those who believe in Him and physically die, continue to live on. Saint Paul in Romans 8:38 confirms that death cannot interfere in the life of such people in Christ Jesus. All who died in Christ remain a living part of Him and when they make it to heaven, they behold Him the way He is. This truth can be confirmed from 1Corinthians 13:12, 1John 3:2, Mark 12:24-­27 and 1Corinthians 15:22. If the departed saints remain in Christ after death, then we the living members who also belong to Christ, can talk to them in our prayers and they can hear us. Yes! Because we all have one common medium of interaction which is the body of Christ.

If spiritual communication with those who died in Christ were a crime, then Jesus should be a culprit because He on some occasions communed or talked to the dead. Jesus said in Matthew 22:32 that God is God, not of the dead, but of the living yet He communed with the dead in Matthew 17:3, John 11:43 and Luke 7:14. If God is God of the living and not the dead, and Jesus communed with departed saints as aforementioned, then those saints remained alive in Him.

The idea of communion of saints is clearly exemplified in Luke 15:7 where the Holy Bible tells us that there is great Joy in heaven over the repentance of a single sinner on earth according to Luke 15:7. One would imagine how saints in heaven get to know about repentance on earth, if there was no link between the living saints and departed saints in God.

So, Mary lives on in Christ and you can speak to her and she can hear you because communion of saints is a reality in the mystical body of Christ.

GROUP2:

Their second objection is when the accusers falsely apply John 3: 13 by claiming that no one has ever entered into heaven except the son of man. So they ask, why should you say that Mary is in heaven in the first place? Well, my response is that if a notorious armed robber entered heaven with Jesus in Luke 23:43, how much more the Virgin Mary, the mother of the savior of the notorious armed robber. She too must be necessarily in heaven. There are saints in heaven and the Holy Bible says so in Revelations chapters 6:9, 5:8 and 8:4.

1Thessalonians 3:13 also confirms that there are saints in heaven. Consider Abraham, a man of faith whom after his death, was put in charge of a bosom (See Luke 16:23). If Abraham had a bosom to himself, then imagine what the Virgin Mary the mother of the savior of Abraham now has in heaven. The Virgin Mary is in heaven.

Group 3:
The third objection from haters of the Hail Mary is that Jesus says in John 14:6:

“... I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the father, but by me"
So such persons ask: Where is Mary in the picture?

Nigerian Catholic Devotees of the Virgin Mary witnessed yet another Awe Inspiring Miracle Of The Sun. The event which happened yesterday 28th Oct 2017 at the National Stadium in Lagos , saw thousands of Christian Devotees of the Virgin Mary in attendance.Event was held to conclude the Lagos Diocesan Commemoration of The 1917 Apparition of The Virgin Mary in Fatima which rounded 100years this year. Just like the one that happened in Benin Nigeria on 13th October , 15 days ago, the sun was seen shifting orientation, enlarging and diminishing its rays. In the video, one could hear the exclamation of one of the attendants who was actually seeing the Virgin Mary within the miracle. Notice the natural background noise and exclamations,coupled with the movement of a bird around the visual.

One observer who called himself 'a former doubting Thomas' told IMMACULATABLOG that the reason he believed this miracle was that when the sun changed colours, enlarged or shrank its rays, all other objects around the visual remained normal colour and size and were not enlarging or shrinking with the sun. According to him, only the sun was doing its own thing at the impulse of the Virgin Mary. For the many times the sun's rays enlarged and shrank with changing colours, the witnesses were left in no doubt as to whether a solar miracle had occurred.
