Bros, with due respect to ur own opinion I regret to announce to u that I disagree with it, A Toyota Metrix stand the times of all the obove mentioned pls, when it comes to 2nd hand value, to fuel economy (same engine capacity as a 2002/07 Corolla), durability, mechanic friendliness, user friendliness, cheaper parts, and most of all pocket friendly, even though they both have same body style, my cousin used both or human his wife, when I asked why same car like, he said the Pontiac vibe was a dash from an old friend but withing 3 month he sold it and kept the Toyota matrix cuzz it was more durable and friendlier...

Go for Postiac Vibe. You can't go wrong with it. It's more rugged than the other listed cars and equally fuel economical. Engine is same as Corolla also but in terms of durability, it ranks highest among all. Wish you the best. I have a Tokunbo 2005 Pontiac Vibe though if you're interested

I've been to Lagos countless times from Abuja to buy cars that I consider a good deal. A number of times I've been disappointed and other times, when I'm close they'll say it's been sold (very common with Lagosians) despite the agreements and promises and assurances.

Fact: alot of Abuja and Kaduna cars are cleaner and we'll maintained than a lot of Lagos cars the only thing you need to do is check the customs duty.

Very common with Lagos dealers. They can so disappoint. I've been there B4 so I can relate with what you're saying. One can travel, possibly all night and on reaching early in the morning, they'll tell you the vehicle is sold. Lagosian no dey fear God and they are just generally too mean. Some of them can also be very dubuious so one has to be extra careful. May God bless our hussle bro.

Indeed some Tokunbo cars are total scrap. For the fact that a car is Tokunbo doesn't guarantee peace of mind

That's why you allow trusted professional do that for you. When a test drive is done and all the parameters are tested, You'll likely discover if the car is faulty or not. Of course there are some things you may need to do but majorly if the engine , gear, AC, gear are goodand the car drives smoothly upon inspection, then you're good to go . You may still need to do a few things to your taste but that would not break your pocket

Most of the adverts I see here will tell you 3 months used, 6 months used, after seeing these adverts my mind always tell me there may be underlying faults the vehicles might have which prompted it's being marketed but the seller will never open up to tell you the issues the cars have. So, I want to know are there genuine Nigeria used cars without issues sold here

Have you imported any car on your own before? Most of the Tokunbo cars on Nigerian roads were like this before they repair them and put them up for sale. This accident is even nimimal.
And if it's the price, IMO opinion, it's fair.
Let's assume copart cost is $2200, ocean freight $1000, towing $400, Telex $25, Custom Clearing 800k exchange rate of N400 to $1. Calculate it bro.
