Politics / The Nigerian Civil Service Is Actually F*ck£d! by truth12(m): 7:40pm On Nov 11, 2021
I was trying to apply to the ongoing FCSC Recruitment for 2021/2022 and was searching for the application form but to no avail! There isn’t even any information regarding the deadline, and I also tried to contact them for the application form but the website keeps saying error!!

What is going on in this country?! Are they trying to conserve vacancies for their own?!!

Celebrities / Message To Some Women: This Is Why Men Use The Phrase “not All Men”. by truth12(m): 10:39pm On Mar 22, 2021
I extend my solidarity with women in their struggles against misogyny, sexism and just unreasonable hate towards women, and I try to be as sympathetic to their cause for social equality and personal emancipation. But women, the reason why you see us (men) jump in defence against the generalising phrase “all men” when toxic and disparaging stereotypes are used to paint us in a bad light, is that you have refused to use the pronoun “some” next to the word “men”. Therefore, we resort to using the phrase “not all men” as a defence mechanism to eschew ourselves from being seen as demons, simply because we all nominally collectively share the noun men.........

Career / Re: How To Tell A Dominant, Overbearing Or Rude Coworker To Shut The Hell Up At Work by truth12(m): 9:57am On Mar 17, 2018
Zico5:
Not just co-workers get such attitude even those directly down ur line can be provocative but ability to put then in their place matters a lot.
I have this lady I directly employed in my place of work, though the management were not supportive of her employment but I got her in for some reasons. One she looks Godly, active and diligent but with third class. This is the reason why they were sceptical about her employment but I broke the protocol cos of my position. Fast forward to like two years, the direct accountant to the chairman resigned and I recommended this lady for the post. I just realized that she changed just of a sudden due to her present relationship with the chairman. She started taking undue advantage like taking over my work schedules under the excuse that I was busy.
When I realized that her overbearing is becoming too much I have to challenge her before the chairman and made her know what I have done for her and why she must not joke with me without minding the consequences. The chairman was surprised and she wanted to talk but the man shut her up. Then things became normal, everyone was amazed. She then became sober and work continues but due to my relationship with the wife of chairman cos the company is jointly owned by them, I reported everything that was going on to her cos I know she must be planning something within. I told the woman I don't think I can work with her again. The woman was surprised cos she told me the hubby never explained anything to her. I was surprised to see the lady at my table the second day pleading that I shouldn't have taken the matter to madam that she doesn't mean all she has been doing. She pleaded I should forgive and forget. That was how things became normal again. We should never be intimidated cos of anything, we should be proactive and act wisely cos many dangerous people are outside there.

wow, and they are ready to take advantage without hesitation.

From my experience, I can CONFIDENTLY tell you that you have no idea what this topic is about. You're probably having it all your way for now, or you really think/believe you are. What the OP described up there has nothing to do with the real abilities of the people in question, but an irritating negative work habit. I'll be damned if I'm wrong cool

thanks wink

Career / How To Tell A Dominant, Overbearing Or Rude Coworker To Shut The Hell Up At Work by truth12(m): 6:18am On Mar 17, 2018
So everyday you wake up to go to work you always think of that idiot at work who isn't your boss but makes life a living hell for you. im here to tell you today that your prayer has been answered and hopefully after reading this youll have the courage to say 'shut the f**k up' to that dominant colleague of yours.

who is a dominant co-worker? really, are you asking me that question? okay let me answer you; A dominant person has this attribute that helps the company to move forward but they tend to use this energy to bring fellow co-worker down. their attribute can consist of working at a fast pace, talking bluntly, cutting in other peoples conversation, they take every little advantage they see to command or have authority over their fellow worker. They are bold, confident and DEFINATELY NOT YOUR BOSS!!

SORRY I ACCIDENTLY PUBLISHED IT WHILE TYPING ILL KEEP TYPING THE REST KEEP ON READING......

So my question is, do they really know they're overbearing? yes they do 2% of them actually just want to make things get done with immediate effect while the remaining 98% are just there to make life a living hell for you.

So how do you overcome them? well start by recognising that they are not your superiors and definitely not the ones that gave you that job or employed you and make this known to them. For example I have this colleague at work who tries this shit with me and kept telling me to do stuff and commanding me and bossing me around, it got to a point I called him in public and told him 'hello, can you calm down and talk to me like a colleague and not my boss cos you're not? ' he looked at me as though he was mesmerized and still under shock, soo surprised that I had put him in that position of inconvenience.

Question them. that would put them in their place and lets them know that they don't have the final say. make them know that they cant have thing their way . ask them why? what? who said that? why should I? can you stop im still talking? they'll begin to realise that they have no power over you or no longer be able to put you in their small box. I've tried this tips and they surprisingly work . I just love to see the expressions on their face when I fire back at them.

Stop them So you're in a meeting an this dude keeps interrupting you as you're giving a brief, you have to react quickly but in a polite way so that you wont create an awkward environment for yourself. tell him or her ' Tom I know you've done this project before but its my turn now and I will appreciate it if you keep quiet and let me deliver what i'm here for , stop interrupting me. I think this message is clear. doing this gaining your courage back and also freedom.

Remember that when you're doing this you have to be prepared to take up any responsibility that comes after it. don't let anyone depress you at work or make life unbearable for you. life troubles is enough! know your human rights and don't let anyone weigh you down .

5 Bad Habits Everyone Is Guilty Of, Including Your Pastor. Number 3 would shake you.

If you don't want eyes to see your act, then it's a bad habit. Having a bad habit can sometimes be addictive, but do you think you have one? Or are you just avoiding the fact you're dirty.
Check out these 5 habits to see where you stand.

1. SNIFFING YOUR ARMPIT OR UNDERARM: Ah yes, everyone is guilty of this, most people don't even realize that it's a bad act to put out in public. Most of the time I researched trying to find out why people sniff their armpit and I've come to find out that it's called ARMPIT FETISHISM just a way of getting turned on to sex Should we say it's a sexual expression or are we trying to deny the fact that it's absolutely filthy to do such especially in public. hey, im not here to judge anyone but to its bad habit, stop it.

2 PICKING AND EATING YOUR NOSE: Really guys stop that, why do people pick their nose and eat? Although we invest mucus everyday to lubricate our throat, we shouldn't do it physically. One of the weird reason people say they do it is it boosts their immune system. Then I did a research online and it said putting your boogers in your mouth won't boost your immune system. Normally I think on my own opinion you're only putting germs in your mouth, and I don't think your partner would like to kiss that.
