I KNOW BUT I THINK IT HAS BEEN CHANGED BY THE NUC THIS YEAR. MEDICAL STUDENTS ARE NOW TO STUDY BASIC MEDICAL SECINCES 'BIOCHEMISTRY, ANATOMY, PHYSIOLOGY FROM 100 LEVEL TO 400 LEVEL THEN THEY BAG A DEGREE FROM THISE COURSES AFTER WHICH THEY ARE ALLOWED TO GO INTO THE MEDICAL SCHOOL FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS.





SO MY QUESTION IS * CAN A DIRECT ENTRY STUDENT BE ADMITTED INTO 500LEVEL INSTEAD OF 200LEVEL AS IT WAS BEFORE?

WHEN BEING ADMITTED INTO A UNIVERSITY VIA DIRECT ENTRY FOR MEDICINE AND SURGERY, WILL I BE TRANSFERRED DIRECTLY INTO THE MEDICAL SCHOOL OR BEGIN FROM 200 LEVEL? I DONT REALLY UNDERSTAND HOW IT WORKS

you're wrong.......students are admitted via DE into MBBS......N Op, Science courses especially Biochemistry which could also be classified as a Basic Medical Science course and also Anatomy and Physiology are accepted for DE.....but its usually very competive n you'll need to be on at least a 2.1
