So if you commit a crime on USA soil, the embassy have access to the national database to look up your data because to them it is a matter of national interest so as not to admit people charge with crime into USA soil.

So the USA embassy have all the details to answer any inquiry about a convicted criminal on their soil.

So what is his crime?

If you live abroad and you suddenly have lodgment of over $1million without paying the necessary taxes, the IRS will come after you and if your explanation and tax record do not show you pay adequate taxes, some of the funds will be forfeited.

Then they will say they have suspicion to believe it could be money laundering or drug trafficking proceeds.

Since the issue in the ‘90s, Bola Tinubu visited the USA and attended the democratic national convention in 2008.

Several USA ambassadors have visited Tinubu in both his Bourdillon house and Abuja residence.

If he is an inducted drug trafficker truly, I don’t think he will be foolish to go to USA and USA ambassadors won’t even want to be associated with him.

Towards the 2015 election, AIY Raymond Dokpesi did some documentary on Tinubu and it got heated that Tinubu took him to court and won and sued them for over 150 billion.

AIT was asked to apologize officially and retract the documentary which they did.

Below is a 2003 publication where the Nigerian police cleared Tinubu of any drug trafficking and money laundering related crime.

This is because he was never indicted by the USA government. The second image here is the Bloomberg report that clearly stated that “Tinubu was not indicted by the USA government” on the last line.

In 2003, the news was all around Nigeria media space after the USA embassy report.

Below is the original letter where the USA embassy cleared Tinubu of any criminal arrest record based on the enquiry by the Nigeria commissioner of police Tafa Balogun under the instruction of president Obasanjo back then.
