Many readers may argue that Prof. Joash Ojo Amupitan being from Kogi state north central is okay but the burden over conflict of interest with him being a Yoruba man appointed by the president (Tinubu) who is participating in the next election can't be disputed. It is left for Nigerians to decide if they want Tinubu to continue beyond 2027 by simply doing nothing to stop his plans. |
Sahara Reporters broke the news today that Tinubu has formally fined tuned his plans for the 2027 presidential election by picking Prof. Joash Ojo Amupitan, a Kogi "Yoruba" professor as the next INEC chairman to succeed inglorious Yakubu Mahmood. The fact that Tinubu is allowed by law to appoint the next INEC chairman without any push back from Nigerians shows that Nigerians are okay and happy with the monumental rigging of elections by politicians. There is no doubt that the sinister plans on how this evil APC government will return to power have been activated and set in motion by Tinubu, Wike, Akpabio. Ganduje and other APC heavyweights. Just as one Nairaland user called Onuman said and I quote "A person contesting election to appoint election umpire is like a football team in a national league appointing a referee for the competition. Are there no more reasonable people in Nigeria to stop the MADNESS in having the president to appoint INEC Chairman?". No one should be deceived that what happened in 2023 presidential election will magically not reoccure in 2027 presidential election as Tinubu's path to victory will only be made easier now that he is the president and owns the INEC by virtue of appointing it's chairman. If Nigerians were serious about good governance, about their future and that of the nation, they should've stormed national assembly, protested endlessly, forcing the compromised 10th Assembly to enact new laws that will stop the president from appointing INEC chairman. The nonchalant attitude and petty tribal sentiments of Nigerians over serious political issues will cost them another 4 years if nothing is done to push for electoral laws reforms that will guarantee a free and fair election in 2027. |
Funny, so you think Tinubu can be voted out? Or you are just saying that as a way to sound politically expedient. I do no believe Tinubu can be removed through any election as long as he appoints the INEC chairman. Only electoral reform or a revolution can stop Tinubu from remaining in power in 2027. helinues: |
Yes his policies and bad leadership is killing Nigerians, you always like to defend this bad government as i guess you're been paid to do so but if you live in Nigeria, it is only a matter of time as you will not escape the effects of this bad government that you continually support here. helinues: |
The only way I can make sense of your posts is to conclude that you don't live in Nigeria because if you do live in Nigeria then you've no conscience and will go down with this terrible government when the time comes. You will not escape the tragic fate that awaits the evil politicians you serve and defend on this platfotm unless you change your ways. helinues: |
The primary responsibility of any government is the protection of lives and property. |
Can you provide evidence to back up all you've said. Sowore's source of wealth is a private affair because he has not held any public office to be accused of looting. Are you happy with what Tinubu, Wike and other corrupt politicians occupying public office are doing with Nigeria's common wealth? fuke: |
Tinubu told Nigerians in his speech to mark the end of his second year in office that the worst is behind them and that the country is getting better. He said "Today, I proudly affirm that our economic reforms are working. We are on course to building a greater, more economically stable nation," Sadly, Tinubu appear to be totally unaware or willfully lying to Nigerians because it just seem like the situation is getting worse. There is no day you don't read about mass killings or kidnapping of Nigerians by gunmen. It is so bad that even FCT is not spared from the carnage. How long will Nigerians continue to accept Tinubu's lies and propaganda of the APC failed government? How many more will have to perish while Tinubu and his cronies feed fat on Nigerians common wealth? When will Nigerians hold this government accountable over these killings? Below is breaking news from Vanguard on another Abuja gruesome killing. An Abuja-based veterinary doctor and former chairman of the Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association, FCT Chapter, Dr Ifeanyi Ogbu has been killed by suspected kidnappers who whisked away his three children.https://www.vanguardngr.com/2025/10/gunmen-kill-doctor-in-abuja-kidnap-his-3-children/ |
It is indeed pathetic that Nigerians are unserious people when it comes to leadership and nation building. What is happening today in Nigeria is inevitable because the Nigerian people can not progress until they come together and hold their evil leaders accountable. Berankis: |
How can he rest when your party is after him with trumped-up charges just for fighting for a better country. It is not surprising that you will say that he has lost focus. When will you stop defending your oppressors? helinues: |
Don't mind Wike, he can only deceive his gullible die hard fans lol ![]() arantess: |
Funny interview. Wike should've been a Nollywood comedy actor instead of a politican. |

Sowore continues to be a consistent voice against the political elites looting the country. I do agree with his views regarding Nnamdi Kanu's case. If the Igbo people don't come together to demand for him to free, Kanu may never be free. He may never get justice as longer as APC government remains in power and the corrupt Nigerian judicial system exists to serve the government's interest. |

Nigerian government already implemented such evil digital scheme with the NIN program. mariovito: |
In Nigeria, the NIN system unfortunately appears to be a precursor to the digital cage described by the lady in this video. It is been pushed by the Nigerian government as a means to curb insecurity so you can not own a sim card without NIN. Recently, Wike's aide revealed how they plan to link it to Nigerians social media accounts. There is no doubt that this is indeed a worldwide conspiracy geared towards supression of free speech, end of individual freedom and total mass control. |
It's a shame. Newsmills: |

"EFCC - An eagle that has now tied it's eyes" OP you're right. Since the president appoints the heads of these agencies so the issue here is that these anti-graft agencies can't be independent. |
You are only been speculative because the electoral votes you are stating here are from an election that was considered by many Nigerians to be rigged. The fact that Sowore chose to play a different kind of politics which you consider to be "childish" in your own view may not be a popular view shared by others as you may presume. Sowore continues to show Nigerian youths what is possible if they fight for their rights through his unique style of politics. I will say his courage and bravery towards calling out evil politicians destroying the country is one quality every Nigerian youth must learn if they hope to save the country. As for his presidential ambition, I still maintain that it is not his place to decide as it is Nigerians that will decide if they want to try an outsider or continue with recycled criminal politicians. If you are attentive to social media trends, you will agree that Sowore's efforts are not in vain. WizardOfNG: |
Did you not read the details that Wike allegedly broke several US laws in the process of acquiring the properties. You are wrong as US government can unilaterally prosecute the case without involving Nigerian government if it is established that Wike is guilty. Tinubu may choose to look away while those in his government are stealing but it won't save Wike from the US justice system. buckeyemedia: |
Hmm I decided to reply your comment even though it was made in response to another user so as to raise certain points you are missing regarding Sowore. The appropriate way to describe Sowore is to say that he is a force who's time is yet to come because one must not be active in politics to become president, a perfect example is Trump, the current US president. Sowore has on several occasions made it clear why he does not want any other political office besides the president, the main reason was that he sees his mission of helping to save Nigeria as been a revolutionary one which he believes can be easily achieved through leading the country. It is left for Nigerians to choose if they want to try an outsider or keep recycling their political oppressors every 4 years who are only interested in looting the country. In my opinion, Sowore has demonstrated genuine consistency in the fight against bad governance and corruption. If Nigerians can allow a shady character like Tinubu who is glaringly going to be remembered as the worst president to serve, I see no reason why Sowore does not deserve a chance. WizardOfNG: |
"EFCC - An eagle that has now tied it's eyes" Sowore's description of EFCC was quite direct and not far from the truth regarding Wike's case. |
Hmm, are you for real? So Wike should be free while abuja-based lawyer Victor Giwa should be jailed? able20: |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NDyB57_32XI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6MyR25estE8 Sowore hit Wike 'You are a Liar and a criminal Florida Property Is Yours' |
It's now almost a week since the news broke regarding revelation of Wike's Florida mansions and other luxurious properties. One would've expected Tinubu being his boss who is the president of the country, who on several occasions told the international community that "there is no more corruption in Nigeria" should've demonstrated his no tolerance for corruption within his government by asking Wike to submit himself for investigation over the allegations. Tinubu's silence over Wike's case is an indictment on his government's complicity and a direct indictment on him as an accomplice to Wike's "crimes". If the president continues to be silent and choose to do nothing to address this embarrassing situation then it is clear for all to see that Tinubu does not only condone corruption but encourages it. Many Nigerians defending Wike are also partly to blame for the nonchalant attitude exhibited by this government towards fighting corruption. Why are Nigerians not publicly demonstrating and demanding for Wike to be suspended and investigated? Why are Nigerians not publicly demanding for an end to looting and corruption going on unchecked under Tinubu? No nation can progress if it's leaders are not held accountable. |
Tinubu APC and propaganda. Let's see how it goes. |
Don't mind IgOga. It is possible he or she does not even own a house. shox: |
If truly this is how you reason then it is hopeless trying to engage you in any meaningful conversation. It is glaring you are ready to sacrifice yourself to ensure the evil APC government remains in power beyond 2027. It is pathetic that you choose to side with your oppressors. helinues: |
