A friend of mine told me as soon as he got to 500grams, and was ready to place withdrawal, he couldn't access his account again. Instead, on clicking the usual link, he was redirected to start afresh. He was so discouraged. I asked him if he had flouted any of their rules like opening two accounts on one phone and he said he didn't do any of that. One thing I know is that, I am yet to see a Nigerian review withdrawal video. Why would a withdrawal take 60days? That's unnecessarily long for something that is genuine. I don't know if they have any support for answering questions of this sort. But the way their site is designed and structured, it's very easy to conclude it's a scam. And I won't be surprised at all if that's the case. On the other hand, I think with the huge traffic they get on their site, including adverts placed, also with numerous views on their Youtube review videos, I think those should generate enough revenue to pay people. It's quite annoying though for one to spend so much time and data and be left with nothing at the end of the day. |

THE AKWA IBOM STATE UNIVERSITY SAGA: PROF. ENO IBANGA AND HOW UDOM REWARDS CORRUPTION It's now State-wide news on the intermittent strikes organized by the unions of the State owned institution, Akwa-Ibom State University under the name Joint Action Congress (JAC) comprising of the ASUU, NASU and NAT. These strikes according to the Union leaders are due to non-payment of arrears of shortfalls of 25% of salaries due staff from January 2020 to December 2020, non-payment of leave grant for the year 2020 and the refusal of the University to upgrade their salary structure to align with the new minimum wage structure as approved by the Federal Government. These evils started when the former Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Eno Ibanga just one year to the expiration of his tenure decided to shortchange and defraud his staff by slashing their salaries by 25% and bluntly refusing to pay the new minimum wage structure to staff. During his last year, he refused to pay leave grant as at when due and was compelled to pay when staff revolted. To successfully carry out his evil plans, he introduced confusion into the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), AKSU Chapter, thereby dividing the leadership and imposing his psychophant fellow professor as a fake leader of the Union therefore destroying every possible opposition to his vicious actions. Having defrauded the staff of the Akwa-Ibom State University by non-payment of full salaries let alone the implementation of the new minimum wage, the Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, at the expiration of his tenure, appointed Prof. Eno Ibanga as the Commissioner of Works and Fire Service for a job well done at the University. What a monumental failure of leadership! The interesting fact is that the former Commissioner of Education, Prof. Nse Essien, who was then the boss to the former Vice Chancellor and who ofcourse was an accomplice to the successful looting of the University funds was then made to become the new Vice-Chancellor of the University on the recommendation of Prof. Eno Ibanga in order to continue his agenda of suppressing and defrauding the staff of the University. The same Prof. Eno Ibanga who claimed there was no money to pay staff their full salaries nor to implement the new minimum wage payment structure fraudulently gave employment to about 120 new staff including his student supporters during his second-term campaign for the incumbent governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, which obviously couldn't have been without a large chunk of funds from the University. Today, the perpetrator of this evil, Prof. Eno Ibanga is dining with the Governor at the Government house while the University staff are crying, lamenting and going through untold hardship having been defrauded and denied of their legitimate rights to their due salaries. In a system that works, Prof. Eno Ibanga should have been sacked, thoroughly questioned and investigated, would have been asked to render full account of funds of the University, all his fraudulent staff employment withdrawn, and punished according to the laws of the State for the heinous crime so committed but this is not the case, no not in Akwa-Ibom State. Today, the State owned University cannot even afford steady supply of electricity because "there's no money". The generator now runs at irregular hours and is shut down before the close of work for the day. At some point, there was no water in the school for weeks because the pump was bad and again because "there was no money" as revealed by a member of staff. All these happened because the former Vice-Chancellor wrecked the University's funds in his pursuit to lobby for a political appointment who today has been "duely rewarded" by His Excellency, the State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel. When these kinds of attrocities are committed and perpetrators rewarded with political appointments, one wonders if there's any hope for the posterity of Akwa-Ibom State University and by extension, Akwa-Ibom State.

LEAKED: HOW BUHARI DESTROYED NIGERIA'S ECONOMY AND PLUNGED THE NATION INTO POVERTY -WHY HE MUST BE VOTED OUT OF OFFICE COME 2019 By Former Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo Iweala. I still find it funny that most people don't know why Nigeria economy went into recession, they love the incompetent lies of Lai Mohammed about the past government ruining everything. It's also myopic to think that if Jonathan were to still be in power, we would be worse off. The truth about Nigeria's recession is this; it was caused by the president's unguided rhetoric and uncultured body language. Firstly, there is nothing we are buying today that we weren't buying 5 years ago, therefore it's not our purchase that put pressure on Naira but withdrawal of funds by foreign investors. After the election, the president created instability with his unguided statements about how everyone is corrupt and how everyone is going to jail. The instability made foreign investors to liquidate their investment and change their money to dollars. In the process of trying to flee, they were willing to buy dollars at any price, which lead to high exchange dollar rate. Even though some of them were not ready to run away, but want their money in dollars to save their investments from devaluation, the president gave a bad signal by banning deposit of foreign currency into dormiciliary accounts. That was enough for free market believers to see the draconian handwriting on the wall, that was the beginning of dollar rush. To make matters worse, the president came up with another outrageous policy of rationing dollar to certain sectors and blocking many sectors out. That was the nail in the coffin which facilitated the emergence of free FALL. In the end, foreign investors took over $80B out of the economy within a short period and everything went down to free fall. To those who believe it will be worse if Jonathan is still there, you are all wrong. Policy continuity and political stability will not let billions of dollars leave our shores within such tiny time frame. Even though the government might have income shortage, the private sector will weather the storm by their confidence in the market. The fear of the unknown created by PMB is responsible for the economic downturn not low oil price. Interest rate in America is currently at 0.5% while it is 12% in Nigeria. JP Morgan Chase will not mind borrowing $50 billion from Feds at 0.5 and put in Nigeria for return of 2000% profit. Citi bank will do the same, likewise US Bank Corp. Chase gave Buhari warning about the repercussions of his fixing policy before they pulled out, but his illiterate cyber warriors and misseducated e-soldiers said JPMORGAN can go to hell, they no longer believe in economic metrics since their messiah is in charge. Funny enough they are all suffering today because of the stupid policy, but they find relief by blaming it on past administration and Gucci appetite of average Nigerians. For your information, if your president "continues" with his unguided rhetoric, Naira will go down to N1000/$1. But we thank God, he is no longer talking. |
A few months ago Mr. President and Commander-in-Chief, Muhammadu Buhari, shocked the world with his submission that Nigerian youths are lazy. Social media went agog with the news. But today, only a few months after, all that noise is washed ashore, and it is evident that Buhari was right. How can over 100 million people under 40 be looking to a 72 year old to rescue us from an 82 year old? Isn't that just non compos mentis? They chant Atikulated! Atikulated! Isn't that how they all chanted Sai Buhari! Sai Buhari! almost 4years ago? Look where all that chants and foolishness has brought all of us, yet Nigerians still haven't learnt from their mistakes or read the handwriting on the wall. Twenty years is enough proof that neither old age nor political experience is the answer to Nigeria's monumental challenges as is evident in the emergence of Nigeria as the poverty-capital of the world amidst being one of the world's most corrupt nations, with a debt profile of N22.4Trillion while her senators and top office holders smile to the bank with incredulous paychecks and allowances to the slavery of the common Nigerian! I write to say, and support Mr. President, that indeed Nigerian youths are not just the laziest of all youths in the world, but they are the most miserable of human beings alive. How can we come through such a history of collosal mismanagement of Nigerian funds and gross disrespect of the Nigerian people by our leaders and still have the audacity to open our mouths or carry our legs to support these old-recycled-corrupt-stomach infrastructure politicians? How can 100million Nigerian youths amongst whom we have vibrant, competent, and able young men who can, without any doubt, steer this nation back on course to the greatness that she once was known for, be at the verge of sharing their precious votes and voices among 2 old-retired comrades who should have nothing to do on the corridors of power but be in their homes receiving elderly care? "Tofiakwa" Nigerian youths! Abomination! Shame on every Nigerian youths who are using their energy, time, talent and expertise to support Atiku or Buhari. Shame on every Nigerian youths who is foolish enough to think that the time has come to partake of their own portion of the national cake. Shame on every Nigerian youths who for a paltry sum is ready to sell off his future and that of his unborn children to people who have absolutely no interest in the progress of this nation. Shame on you all. You are the problem of this country—all of you who have, with your eyes wide open—decided to foolishly continue to enjoy slavery in the hands of this wicked-inconsiderate-selfish and greedy masters of yours who parade themselves as politicians. This nation and her generations unborn will not forgive you for selling off their future and for bringing untold hardship and handing down a nation of poverty, chaos, and war to them. I pray, like our national anthem captures perfectly, that God will help the youths of this nation the truth to know, direct the noble cause of this great country, and especially guide our leaders right so that the labours of our heroes past will not be in vain, to the end that once again we might have a nation that is bound in peace, unity, progress and prosperity. So help us God!

Hello good people of my dear State, Omo Ogun ti kin yo se. I am your dear Lanre Oyegbola and by the grace of God have been serving as the National Auditor of Alliance for New Nigeria since the conclusion of our convention in August. A lot has happened during and after the convention and Chief amongst them is the Presidential Primary that held yesterday where Mr Fela Durotoye emerged having fulfilled the provisions of the Constitution and pooled 240 votes against Mr Gbenga Olawepo-Hasim who pulled out of the primaries barely 24 hours to the primary and who pooled 7 votes because a number of his supporters were still present during the primaries. Prior to this time, the National Working Committee being the arm of the party saddles with the responsibility of running the affairs and day to day activities of the party with due guidance of the BoT and the approvals of the National Executive Committee that is composed of all the State Chairmen. The NWR had presented certain memos at the last NEC Meeting of the party which was attended by over 27 Chairmen from all geo political zones of the country. At this meeting, the NEC had approved the electoral guidelines and also ratified the memo proposing amongst other things the dates for all the primaries including that for the President. The meeting rose with the confusion that the NWC should conduct a transparent, excellent and creditable primary. Fast track to the developments. 1. The National Organising Severest has as his primary responsibilities amongst others the compilation of the delegates list and also the sub committees. 2. These two documents are important for the conduct of the primary and in line with the provisions of the Constitution. 3. He kept on these documents for the whole of the month of September and then a week ago the NWC decided to have continuous meetings until all the documents are ready and to allow the party conduct the primaries and be able to submit the names of candidates to INEC by the 7th of October. 4. The 7the October deadlines was repeated brought to fore as the NWC met by the National Secretary who had earlier in the month attended a session called by INEC with all political parties and warned of the need to ensure strict adherence to the dates and deadlines. 5. And since the party had fixed the 29th of September for the primaries and as approved by NEC, the next action was to deliver the special convention and Presidential Primary. 6. Then the NWC kept on, including myself, we would arrive by 9am and would not leave the national secretariat not close to midnight. 7. And what were doing, waiting for the Organizing Secretary and the documents. And then as we wait and meet, we are confronted with different concerns; Chief amongst them was the methods for the primary. 8. The Constitution of the party provides for both direct and indirect. We considered both and realised that it will cost the party well over N150m to deliver a direct primary and conducting an indirect primary would cost as much as N50m. 9. As a young party with no money bags, we began to ask questions. How do we fund this budget? And in the event that we have the money, would it be wise to spend such money on a primary where the main election would require so much money in the days and weeks ahead. 10. The Deputy National Chairman and Organising Secretary kept assuring the committee that the money would come and then we said it's better to be prudent with funds instead. 11. Then we were faced with another challenge, some states that haven't conduct congresses and the Secretariat had notified INEC of its position of not being able to conduct congresses in those states and chief amongst them is Kano State. Kano State is the state of the Deputy National Chairman. 12. Then the issue of integrity came to bear. We as a party had vowed to do things differently and that would be tested. So, a group are of the view that we include these states in the primaries and another were keen on staying faithful to the ethos of the party, it's constitution and then not commit a fraud against the electoral act and the condition of the Federal Republic of a Nigeria. 13. These group that wanted things done the 'normal' have come with experiences of their past escapades in the two political parties that has ruined Nigeria - PDP and APC. They were keen against every form of reason to smuggle these states into the process. And then arguments dragged for 3 days. 14. And when on Thursday night it became obvious that their position wouldn't hold and they decided that the primary wouldn't hold and must be postponed against the approved date by the NEC. 15. And by this time we have less than 48 hours to the date communicated to all including INEC which is Saturday, September 29, 2018. 16. By Friday, September 28, we were all meant to be in the secretariat to activate all the plans but everyone with earlier mentioned responsibility were absent. The National Organizing Secretary, Deputy National Chairman and the National Secretary were all absent. 17. And since the party is bigger than every member and officer of the party, the party supremacy can't be tampered with by anyone including the National Chairman. Hence the insistence by all other members to ensure the primary goes on as planned and the BoT met and insisted on same. 18. By the evening of Friday, September 28, 2018 Mr Olawepo-Hasim issues a press statement of his intention to pull out of the Presidential primaries citing all the points above and claiming NEC didn't approve or rectify the guidelines. 19. Since the materials were all commissioned, the electoral Sub committee of the convention decided to conduct the elections and it was recorded live. I your kinsman was privileged to chair that committee and I faithfully ensured that no one was favoured and the process produced the votes earlier quoted above. Now we have been reading all sort of stories and accounts. I was there throughout. I left my work for a whole week and moved to Abuja at my own cost and I am giving you a first hand account of all that happened. Let me ask you and anyone that cares, 1. how did Mr Gbenga Olawepo-Hasim got to know the cost for the Expression of Interest form and the nomination form if it was not published? 2. Why would the National Deputy Chairman who is from Kano and had contested the Presidency before not swing into action to organise the congress in Kano immediately after the convention knowing that it's those states that has conducted Congress that can present delegates? 3. Why didn't the National Secretary that attended the meeting and who was a party to the idea of rescheduling the date of the primary to October 3rd not tell his principal that the position of INEC? There may be some more questions and am sure you can also think through and ask me and then much more. For me what is important is this, I wanted all the aspirants of our party to have a fair chance, becomes candidates and then run for elections. I wanted us to win elections and since the 12th of August I have been working towards this even in Ogun. And to have our candidates not on the ballot because we wouldn't be able to meet the deadlines was a NO for me. And I vehemently resisted that. For this reason, we have become enemies to some of the leaders of the party and an aspirant. Please make your deductions. Thank you and God bless ANN |

Last night, Mr. Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, a presidential aspirant under the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN) announced his withdrawal from the presidential primaries scheduled for today, Saturday, 29th September 2018 on the grounds that the party hadn't given him the list of delegates who were going to be a part of the electoral process. In a letter issued to the National Chairman of ANN, Olawepo-Hashim stated that "The list of delegates has not been provided to me as a Presidential aspirant on the platform of the ANN. This is contrary to the constitution of the ANN and the Electoral Act. This is such a fundamental flaw as to render any exercise purporting to be presidential primaries to be nugatory.” He further stated that “The absence of guidelines to guide the conduct of the primaries constitute a grave violation of our party’s Constitution and the Electoral Act." Mr. Olawepo-Hashim went further to say that “The arrangements for the Presidential Primary has not been published so that everyone will know. Who are those to conduct the primaries, including accreditation of delegates, screening of aspirants etc? As a Presidential aspirant, I am yet to know the arrangements put in place for the conduct of the primaries,” The above claims by Mr. Olawepo-Hashim are all a propaganda to discredit the Alliance for New Nigeria (ANN), a party that came into the scene to be the difference and provide a platform for credible candidates who truly have a heart for the people to run for office in order to bring about the New Nigeria that we all desperately seek. First of all, the ANN constitution does not in any way state how it will conduct its primaries neither does it say that aspirants will be given the list of delegates who should partake in the voting process of the primaries. The party deserves and has the right to conduct their primaries however they want in order to accomplish their objectives of providing a level playing field for all aspirants and especially to avoid any form of corruption in its processes. The practice in other parties is to give out the list of delegates to their handpicked aspirant who then goes ahead to bribe the delegates one by one in order to turn the primaries to their favour. Unfortunately, ANN will not practice such and being one of the founding fathers of PDP, it is expected that Mr. Olawepo-Hashim will not find that funny. On the other hand, it was discovered that on Mr. Olawepo-Hashim's visit to the State chairmen of the party that he was busy trying to bribe them to influence the delegates from the states to vote for him in the primaries. This action is one of the many things that ANN stands against and will not allow him that opportunity. It's very likely that Mr. Olawepo-Hashim has had first hand experience that indeed ANN is not like other parties and has seen that he stands no chance at winning the primaries and therefore decided to withdraw from the primaries using propaganda to aid his decision. Besides, if there was anything wrong with the guidelines or conduct of ANN in its preparation for the primaries, it is unlikely that Fela Durotoye who is well known for his die-hard integrity would have objected and probably withdrawn a long time before the eve of the primaries, but this is not the case. Just this morning, on inquiring about what really happened, a reliable source from the party who asked to be anonymous stated that Mr. Olawepo-Hashim pulled out from the primaries because he wanted to change the date of the primaries and when ANN stood their grounds, he wanted to proceed to the court to get a court injunction but unfortunately for him, the court was closed because of the NLC strike. The reliable source further stated that ANN intended for the two candidates to have a debate to help the electorates decide who was a better candidate and Mr. Olawepo-Hashim didn't want to debate with Fela Durotoye for obvious reasons—he will lose as he doesn't stand a chance. Again, Mr. Olawepo-Hashim went to see if INEC could stop the primaries from happening and INEC informed him that they can not get involved in what is happening at the party level. Therefore the truth of Mr. Olawepo Hashim's withdrawal just few hours to the primaries which is slated for today is mainly because he wasn't allowed to know all the delegates and have some uncommon familiarization with them as this is tantamount to inducement of the delegates, which the ANN party will not have anything to do with. He probably wanted to push the primaries, get the names of the delegates so he can influence them to give him their votes. Unfortunately, this didn't happen like he thought, and so why bother with showing up at the primaries to witness a landslide defeat? His withdrawal is also due to the fact that he has discovered that he cannot push ANN around like other parties who are used to taking money from politicians and doing their bids to the disadvantage of Nigeria and to the slavery of her people. This is nothing but the truth. Truly the ANN is THE DIFFERENCE and today's primaries will hold as scheduled at the Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja by 10am prompt. |
