Lekiboboe:It has gone beyond 5 days already. I don't really understand again sef. I already have my AIP though but I just want to stop worrying about medicals. IOM will send you a copy of your medical report (apart from Doctor's confidential notes) if you mail them on IOMLagosClinicalTeam@iom.int. Do well to include the date of your assessment and the IME or UCI number in your request. |
SKEPTA:Has yours been updated now? My medicals haven't been updated to passed or anything since August 4th. I did it at IOM after I got a medical request. I don't know what could be taking so long. Has anyone experience this sort of delay before? I even asked IOM to send me the report and I passed the lab test. Everything was normal apart from high BP. Should BP unnecessarily delay passing medicals? |
Iceman2020:Did they send you a mail or you just saw the notification on your portal |
My medical has not been updated since Tuesday. I did it at IOM. Others have said theirs have been updated. |
Thanks @Osemigho, Justmellow and Frankrobbn1 for your responses. I feel better now. Do you know how I can get a copy of the medical report? I forgot to ask IOM when I did the medical screening and I can't find anything on that online. |
Someone should help me. I have been a guest user of this thread and did my medicals today at IOM. The nurse and doctor said my BP was very high. Although I didn't see the figure but they were visibly concerned. The doctor asked and I told her that my father is managing BP too. She said it may be a family thing. I wasn't referred to a cardiologist or asked to do any further test. I completed the medical exam. The doctor only told me to go to any hospital later on so that I can get the BP checked and managed. My question now is: will this high BP affect the study permit approval? (The medical was requested, not upfront). Has anyone experienced something like this before? Frankrobbn1 Justwise Justmellow Please help. |
