Almaheed: sometimes I get marveled at some people's logic, indeed we have a long way to go in educating ourselves on progressive stance, someone who as lived all his life in Lagos would now return to his hometown after 30 years and run for Senate, what does he know about his home town. definitely he would have lost touch but our people are just myopic doing the same wrong thing all the time and expecting different result. I just weak for some people well....they are still our brothers and sisters...what you wan do??.... we just keep on reminding them what nigeria is..... the rest is up to them and the nigerian constitution, police and army.... its realy not the problem of nigerians....

Almaheed: Op I understand this is your opinion but they are just wrong, plainly wrong have you wondered why developed country use the state if residence and not state of origin? because you are more active in the place of your residence than where you visit on holidays. don't give us the bull crap of they want to collect our ancestral home line!
people who are born and brought up in Abuja or Lagos but originate from else where, which area do you think they would be more conversant with.. which area do you think they would know the challenges and the opportunities, it is where they reside. that is why you see in Lagos people from other ethnic groups are running and winning political seats. because they have grown in those areas and understand the terrain.
your point of view is myopic and archaic it is retrogressive which undermines development. all you seem to care about is the oil money in the Niger delta which as been a curse even to your own people. I strongly detest and disagree on your stance because it cannot bring forth progress. can you imagine what he just wrote??...even in western nations its practiced.... |

All Southern Politicians Must Beware Not To Allow The state of Residence Nonsense Fly In The Better South.
I Have Studied Advance Countries And I Make Bold To Say A Certain Region And Religion Have The trick of Dominating Using Demographic Control.
If State of Residence is Given Preeminence Over State of Origin, Trust me They Will Increase Their Migration Down South For One Purpose Only To Drag Our Ancestral Lands And heritage With Us.
My Delta People and all South South Beware. the Enemies Are Tricky whats your point??...every state is like a country....nigeria is a continent of its own.... if you live in a state, you must obey the laws of only that state.......simple... or dont go their a tall.... |

If you say GEJ hero of corruption it's then you're just beginning to describe the man because it's either; GEJ is the hero of corruption in Nigeria or hero of cluelessness in Nigeria for such monumental stealing to have taken place under his watch/(hangover) na his people from the yeast call him that......for me,that guy is an idioooot..... |

Even being in the witness box doesn't mean you must answer every question put to you but at least you can help exonerate Metuh since you truly gave approval for the arms fund to be given to him through Dasuki for your election campaign.
Goodluck Jonathan is guilty as charged....in GEJ's voice... how much did I give Metuh for campaign? Just N400million and they say I should come and testify! Or is refusing to testify now corruption? Abeg Mama Piss pass me the ogogoro if he is realy the hero of democracy, let him obey his own rules.... or is he trying to tell us that his own democraticaly rules dont imply on him too.... ?..... |

igbodefender: Is Chernobyl not enough? A whole region has become a wasteland for the next hundred years- because of nuclear energy. Everyone had to leave in a hurry- many with the cancer that would later kill them- because of nuclear power. And this happened in a technologically advanced country. look...i dont want to argue with you....i know you are right too....what should we do now....??...go the expensive way without nuclear??.. my position is nuclear is even better than coal....then after we have enough money to go full clean energie,we can still shut down the nuclear plants as germany is doing....we are not rich as germany to go all clean energie...... |

igbodefender: Most of China's electricity comes from coal. Most of US electricity comes from coal. To industrialize Nigeria may just need to imitate China and the US- while researching for cleaner and safer energy.
Nuclear may one day become safe; or Nigeria may develop better maintenance culture and security. Until then, we say No to nuclear. i dont agree with you on that....you cant complain later about nepa if you fold the hand of the fg to go the easy way but with risks... but that risk will be minimized like other nations do....and nigerians have no ambitions to harm the rest of the world.... |

Nuclear is not for Nigeria at this time. you have to deceide... we cant catch up with clean energie....we are too far behind.... clean energie but very few available,or nuclear and take the risk but plenty available.... nigeria will not be in charge anyways and this brings technogy....things we dont know,we can learn.... btw..how many other nuclear desasters did you hear about since Chernobyl.... ??..... |

Other countries have had similar experiences with technology but it has not filled them with self doubt and inferiority complex. Instead, it drives them to improve further. But you lot?
