Let me give you an example. When Shoprite came to Nigeria, both poor and elites patronised it not so? That's because the facility while top class was affordable.
The standard of living of the average Joe in US is not so far from that of the elites over there. Unlike here that the gap is wide. That's the point I'm making

In Western nations, elites are not separate from the poor. Messi shopped at a normal mall in US when he first arrived and there wasn't much fuss about it. Most good things there are basically available to the average person.
So don't use your Nigerian mentality to judge others.
Like I already told you, Nigerians are exporting. Officially, we exported over 12trn worth of goods and services in the last quarter. In sane countries, that should see our naira rise in value. Why is that not the case here?
