Menbers of the Nigerian armed forces are meant to be my "brothers" whose duty is to protect Nigerian citizens not that of a foreign army or invader as d case may be. Hence, I would not expect to be treated fairly by a foreign military whose primary duty is not to protect or treat me fairly if that serves the interest of its own nation.
When d Nigerian military whose personnel paid with Nigerian tax money from Nigerians treats Nigerians badly then it is more painful to bear than to be treated badly by an army of a foreign nation

The job of soldiers is to kill and protect ... Again yes, yes, you are right ... Torture, harass and sometimes kill the unarmed people they claim to protect. It is not only the Federal Republic of Nigeria that has Military units but it's largely only these unrefined repugnant savages, even within our region, that behave like they are above the law and humanity.

I travel a lot, never have I seen such harassment that is synonymous with the Nigerian armed forces towards unarmed and non-threatening civilians in non-war situations.

Nigerian armed forces are so full of themselves thinking one has to be 'terrible' again towards civilians to be percieved as strong. Nonsense! You guys better learn manners and etiquette and obey the law of the land and people.

Until then, like you can see all over the thread, we piss and spit on you lot until you learn respect is earned not forcefully demanded. As for the young soldier OP, he should shut up and learn some history of how those who were before him bastardised and are still bastardising Nigeria.
