The roof of hall iv unit two block A (MALE HOSTEL) is currently in smokes, the cause of the fire is not gas leak, not candle light and definately not Boko Haram. It was caused by - porters worst nightmare- "HOT PLATE". Excessive use of hotplates e.g. 4-5 hotplates in each room in the block caused the wires in the roof to overheat and start smoking .... firefighters are still trying to figure out the source of the smoke, water is being poured into the roof ( which Is making the place very messy)....thanks to God, it was not a very big/dangerous fire, no human casualty (except maybe our poor cats), but some rooms were messed up ( no roof again) ., I'm still wondering when they'll restore electricity back to us....in everything TO GOD BE THE GLORY......pictures available below

dhtml: You are correct bro.hey man....I admit that qbasic cannot get you a job ( we all know that), but it introduces programming concepts (like: looping, arrays, decisions e.t.c) a gentle and simple manner, hope you remember that: most if not all of our new generation laguaages are derived from what you call "old school " languages" , I have a friend (not studying in 9ja) who's learning java as a startup langauge, the poor guy complains everytime about how hard it is for him to grab/understand what he is learning...if he started with something like qbasic it'll have been easier for him |
