Dchair2:The problem with Ganduje is the fact tha hes a sitting governor with immunity and no agent of government can probe till he was either impeached or he completes his tenure and that is when he can be probed. Let our senators and honourable change the constitution that gives room for immunity for governors and I can tell you no governor will complete a term in office. |
Why Obasanjo, Why? The only bad thing that Obasanjo would ever regret doing was bringing FFK to Nigeria because it would have been better for him to have left him alone in the United States doing his job as Uber driver. I just wasted my precious time reading this nonsense piece from this Delusional Grandiose mental patient always spewing rubbish. Omo ale jatijati bii baba e! |

amina2000:The injury your son had is called Brachial Plexus injury and is a network of nerves that sends signals from the spine to the shoulder, arm, and hand. Damage to the brachial plexus can cause symptoms such as A limp or paralyzed arm Lack of muscle control in the arm, hand, or wrist Lack of feeling or sensation in the arm or hand Brachial plexus injuries can happen because of shoulder trauma, tumors, or inflammation. Sometimes they happen during childbirth when a baby's shoulders become stuck during delivery and the nerves stretch or tear. Some brachial plexus injuries may heal without treatment. Many children who are injured during birth improve or recover by 3 to 4 months of age. Treatment includes physical therapy, Occupational Therapy and, in some cases, surgery may be required. I am an Occupational therapist please call me on this number which is 08034256318 so that I can discuss further with you. take care and God bless you |

Occupational therapy (OT) treatment focuses on helping people with a physical, sensory, or cognitive disability be as independent as possible in all areas of their lives. OT can help kids with various needs improve their cognitive, physical, sensory, and motor skills and enhance their self- esteem and sense of accomplishment. Therapist Sufyan. |
@OP, Autism Spectrum Disorders as they are called comprises of the following disorders: Autism, Asperger's syndrome, Rett syndrome, Perversive Developmental Disorder Not otherwise specified and Childhood Disintegrative Disorder. Out of the above listed the commonest ones are Autism and Asperger's syndrome. Our focus here is on autism. Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) are defined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (Fifth Edition; DSM-5) as a class of neurodevelopmental disorders that are characterised by persistent, complex and variable deficits in social communication and social interaction and restricted, repetitive patterns of behaviours, interests and activities (American Psychiatric Association, 2013). The symptoms present in early childhood, impair everyday function and may fluctuate throughout the lifespan . The best help any parents can get to assist their autistic child or children cos I've seen a case of a woman having 3 children and all of them are on the spectrum; is to get an Occupational therapist. What are the benefits of occupational therapy for autism? The overall goal of occupational therapy is to help the person with autism improve his or her quality of life at home and in school. The therapist helps introduce, maintain, and improve skills so that people with autism can be as independent as possible. These are some of the skills occupational therapy may foster: Daily living skills, such as toilet training, dressing, brushing teeth , and other grooming skills Fine motor skills required for holding objects while handwriting or cutting with scissors Gross motor skills used for walking, climbing stairs, or riding a bike Sitting, posture, or perceptual skills, such as telling the differences between colours, shapes, and sizes Awareness of his or her body and its relation to others Visual skills for reading and writing Play, coping, self-help, problem solving, communication, and social skills By working on these skills during occupational therapy, a child with autism may be able to: Develop peer and adult relationships Learn how to focus on tasks Learn how to delay gratification Express feelings in more appropriate ways Engage in play with peers Learn how to self-regulate etc.. Occupational therapy services are available here in Nigeria and most especially in all the teaching hospitals and in case you have questions concerning autism and how to get occupational therapy service please feel free to send your questions and I will be here to answer all that is bordering your mind as per autism and how to get help for your child or children. |
