Below is the rich SW region 👇👇
Should I post more rich pix from the SW? Region with the least skyscraper, least standard shopping malls, least recreational centres, least 5star hotels. A village goon is displaying pictures of bungalow as sign of development. Senseless and emotional local chest beater |

You don't know the meaning of failure otherwise you will be looking in the direction of 1. Ojukwu who led Igbo into unnecessary war that claimed lives of millions Igbo and still failed only to come back and contest in the country he waged war against 2. MNK who created IPOB and UGM that are terrorizing the people of the SE while he was caught and today he is pleading to be free as he has abandoned Biafra |

But for People who like to change History, people who like Propaganda
This would be a reminder for future generations... Tinubu a Yoruba man lead government, intentionally refused to allow Political solution to Kanu case

Politics › Re: Dangote's Shady Petrol Price Of N990, A Prelude To N1500 Per Litre by Ttalk: 10:36am On Nov 05, 2024*. Modified: 11:16am On Nov 05, 2024 |
nairalanda1: Well, how much do you think it
1. Costs to refine one liter of fuel
2. Costs to subsidise one liter of fuel to N200 per liter or less?
I await your answers, milord. You are uninformed and you have flaunted your warped opinion here so much without challenge that makes you feel you are making sense. Tell me, what is the rationale in proposing CNG as a substitute for high fuel? Which one is cheaper for consumer between CNG and electric cars? Why is government silent on electric cars but campaigning for adoption of CNG when everyone knows the price will be jacked up the moment many convert to the CNG. No one say subsidy on fuel is sustainable but do you think abrupt removal of the subsidy is sustainable? Where is the savings from removal of the fuel subsidy? If Nigeria can no longer afford fuel subsidy, should we continue to practice bi-cameral legislature, can we afford to run a full time legislature? Should we continue to practice presidential system of government when we know that these system can only be operated by a rich country? Nigeria is a poor country, but the political elites continue to live a life of opulence at the expense of the Nigeria. If you don't know, I tell you categorically that a Senator go home with nothing less than 60m as quarterly allowances. While they continue to feed fat on other perks of office. Any reform that is not wholistic that doesn't affect the political elite is nonsense I ask you, where is the savings from subsidy removal, what sector has the savings revived |
Politics › Re: Dangote's Shady Petrol Price Of N990, A Prelude To N1500 Per Litre by Ttalk: 6:14am On Nov 05, 2024 |
nairalanda1: Well, I am not opposed to subsides, but funding them would require a major increase in our government's income which in the short term would come from taxation, which people like you oppose because apparently it is a sign the world bank is sucking our blood or something.
At the end, it does cost money to refine and produce a liter of fuel. Subsidising it has to take that into account. Getting worked up and yelling at me does not change that fact.
Good morning. It's still early, please apply common sense while responding to posts. You are questioned on your continuous support for subsidy removal when there should have been a precondition fulfilled by government especially in fixing our moribund refinery and removing corruption in the oil sector but government failed to do that and the consequence of monopoly we face from Dangote. Where are the savings from subsidy that are shared to the states? How has it impact in the lives of the people of Nigeria.? If government feels CNG is the alternative why not use the savings to provide kits for all Nigerian vehicles at affordable cost. I doubt if you had worked in any of government establishment with the defense you always put up in their support, if you do then you are not a compassionate person and should not be in position I advocate for subsidy removal. |

Politics › Re: Five Things That Are Likely To Happen In The 2027 Presidential Elections by Ttalk: 8:01pm On Nov 04, 2024 |
gidgiddy: If you follow Nigerian politics, especially the Presidential side of it, I assure you that these five things are most likely to happen in the 2027 Presidential race, all things being equal.
1. In 2027, the trio of Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and Bola Tinubu, will run under their respective panties, LP, PDP and APC, in a rehash of the 2023 elections. The three men will the main contenders, anybody else who chooses to run will be a time waster. It is also likely to be the very last time any of the three men will run for any political office in Nigeria, age is not on their side for 2031.
2. The elections will be brazenly rigged in favour of the ruling party, APC, and it's incumbent, Bola Tinubu. After Tinubu is declared winner, he will make a speech, or release a statement, asking political opponents to join him to build a new Nigeria, and that those aggrieved should go to court.
3. Atiku and Obi will do neither, they know the drill, they have been through this before. Instead, Atiku and Obi are going to ask their supporters to come out massively to protest the outcome of the elections. People will troop out to protest, not just because of the elections, but also to protest many years of austerity, hardship, economic decline, insecurity, corruption and abuse of power by the ruling class.
4. As usual, government will roll out the Police, Army, DSS to crush the protest, and it will turn violent very quickly. Many will die, many will be arrested and charged for treason, many properties will be destroyed.
5. Obi, Atiku and Tinubu will call for restraint on both sides, but it will be too late. Years of hardship, hopelessness, economic downturn, brazen corruption by the ruling class will make several people take up arms against government, taking Nigeria to a new level of insecurity never seen before
Very unfortunate What will Simon Ekpa tell the SE people. He will declare 1month sit at home |
