I applied for a visit visa to my husband in Jan 2022. We usually check the application by just going through my husbands profile.

I decided to check my profile this morning and realized I was sent a mail for passport request on 2nd March 2023 which has passed the 30 days required for submission at vfs

I’ll like to enquire if there is anything I can do to request a new passport request letter

I and my husband applied for UK visa and submitted on 17th Jan ( this Tuesday) . Yesterday evening 19th Jan he got a refusal mail stating he had other funds in his account whose sources were not disclosed which isn’t true. My husband owns a business and pays himself salaries, the extra credits were explained in a 2 page cover Letter and attached to the statement of account he submitted. Infact to make sure they didn’t miss out the letter, we stated in the extra information part of the form that they should come out for the detailed explanation letter

So reviewing his application in a day and sending a refusal stating there was no explanation for the funds makes no sense to me. Although I’m yet to get their mail but it would likely be refused as well as my husband was to sponsor my trip. We have been to schenghen area and thought that should count in our favor as well but it didn’t

Pls house what do you advise? Is it best to reapply immediately and tackle the fact that they didn’t do proper review of our application or we should allow it slide?

I've said it before on that first thread and I'll say it again.

#1 That phone got missing at her NYSC camp and for the fear of being nabbed with it, she decided to wait for NYSC camp to finish before she could flex it. If she never had bad intentions, she would have returned it right away.

#2 After NYSC camp finished and everyone travelled back to their respective states, she found the phone unusable wherever she was due to Icloud security. That phone is already as good as useless.

#3 She could have thought of selling that phone to a random individual but no one would cheaply fall for it without inspecting it. Once they found it was icloud locked, na double wahala coz they would spend more to unlock it at computer village or wherever tech hub and 2, it could also land them in trouble if the contents of that phone becomes suspicious. Those touts at computer village are very smart and they know how to bite toothlesly if they sence you no sharp and be JJC. One of them might even claim na SARs official just to get away with the phone and some cash. That girl couldn't sell it off. The fear of taking it to a phone expert also got her worried.

#4 As she couldn't do all of the above, her only option was to return it back to the owner but at a price so as not to be on the losing end after all the stress. She demanded a whooping 50k for the owner to get that phone back.

My question is why did it take her several weeks for her to reach or be reached? It was due to the time she wasted in camp so she could use what she stole and soliciting for buyers who weren't interested in a locked Iphone after camp.
