lambros: On sat, 23rd of September 2016, history was made in the Department of Radiography and Radiological Science, College of Medical Science, University Of Calabar, as the department produced its first ever male first-class graduant. The 10th Induction and Oath-taking ceremony for graduating students of the above mentioned department will remain a memorable one in the hearts of the staff and students of the Department of Radiography and Radiological Science, University of Calabar. From the inception of the department, there had never been a first class graduant except for one Ms Eteng Rejuno who broke the jinx in 2014. The Abia State born, Mr Goodluck Okoro, made history by becoming not only the first male first class graduant but also the all time best graduating student of the Department of Radiography and Radiological Science, University of Calabar.
A total of 59 inductees filed into the UNICAL International Conference Centre, with their faces beaming with smiles; as they were joined by their families, friends and well wishers. The occassion came to a climax when Mr.Goodluck Okoro (the first class student who had Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.51 – the highest recorded since the institution started awarding Bachelor degree in the discipline) gave his valedictory speech. For his excellent academic perfomance he was offered an automatic employment in the department after his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
Goodluck Okoro did not only impress the entire university with his first class perfomance, but also bagged FIVE (5) Awards out of the available EIGHT ( Awards. Source:http://www.topgist360.com/2016/09/the-abia-state-born-rccg-shalom-parish.html  He has made me proud! |

Op, it might sound dirty or stupid to you..... Go learn work. Shoe making, Suit making, or something.... Train yourself in a service those employed people can't do without.
You will own yourself, your time and you will be very comfortable. If you're employed and you're not earning above N1m a month.... You're a slave menhhhhnnnn Knowledge is power! He can learn work after school OR better still, he can even combine both simultaneously! |

deltateam: Op instead of HND. Go for degree. Don't waste 2-3 years for nothing HND is less than 2years WHILE degree is 3-4 years! To secure HND admission is not as hard as degree! |

They hardly give u sick leave not to mention study leave. Wat are u studying?
@op, maybe its the coy policy not to re-employ old staff or u dint resign properly. All d best in ur search Hi dear, firms do give study leave alot in Nigeria, provided you've worked with them for at least a year sha and also if you wanna go study to improve yourself in the area that will benefit them! You cannot be a computer operator in a firm and apply for study leave to study political science in school, they might not accept it sha! |
