The long awaited and talked about Edo State Gubernatorial elections is about winding up with vote counting presently on in virtually all the polling units. Remember, the elections was initially scheduled to hold on 10th September. 2016, before it was postponed in very strange circumstances to today.

This election is unique from all previously conducted ones, this is the first time elections will be held in the country when voters would be accredited and allowed to vote simultaneously unlike what obtains in the past. The time spent waiting for proper elections to commence after accreditation had been done has been completely eliminated which itself, is good for time management.

A rather disturbing trend reported from virtually most polling units in the state today is the massive and rampant vote buying in today’s elections. Inducement of voters with money is not alien to our electoral process, but what was observed today, is rather very alarming which shows the desperation these our so-called leaders could go all in the name of winning elections.

Today’s elections would most likely go down in the history of the state as one that attracted the most numbers of voter turnouts. A major factor responsible for this turnout is the inducement of voters which was very rampant across the state with security officers turning a blind eyes to the activities of party agent contractors inducing voters with money.

My anger against the good people of Edo state is that which day would they ever come of age and mature enough to stop selling their birth rights during election days for mere pittance? Similar act happened last year during the general elections where it was reported in some polling units that voters went home richer with between N4, 000 and N7, 000 as proceeds of their vote sales. History is presently repeating itself now with the sham currently going on in this gubernatorial elections.

Edo state is in dire need of basic infrastructural developments such as good roads, schools, health care centers and other basic necessities of life which today is a luxury. How do you think someone that bought his way into power would attend to such needs. This is the time for Edo state to wise up!

FIRST BANK... : they require an authentic national id card [ temporary id not acceptable ] ...utility bill, 2 passport, and 2 thousand




GT BANK... : requires national id card... temporary accepted..., utility bill, 1 passport, and 1050 naira..



ZENITH BANK... : national id needed... utility bill... 2 passport.. and 3000 naira



UBA... : national id needed... utility bill... 2 passport.. and a guesstimated 1000 naira...





so guys... am a bit confused... which of these banks is ideal for me to operate with...?? .....thought of gtb... but am considering its few branches.. will it affect me in anyway?? ...

In my own opinion, I think you would have obtained a study leave from them before leaving, that would have made you land successfully upon your return!

Don't have any regret about leaving them for school, because that ND will still help you in future!

I'm trying to register a business name online using the CAC online portal but I don't know what to fill in the "Date of Commencement of Business" field as the business has not started operating fully. All I have gotten is an office space and some furniture and won't kickstart fully till maybe November. Though I have used the business name to do a job for a friend in march this year. Please I need advice as to what date to fill. Should it be the date in march, today's date or the date I will start operations fully?

This man was a father to all the corp members who were posted in his village.1.5km bridge linking ebughu the village were the controversial Sheriffs PDP judge came from and Enwang all in same Mbo was done by Ibb courtesy of this man. This man owns a castle thou a lot of visitors live in his place without paying a dime.He's a stunch Catholic and a communicant too. Oga he is a stunch Methodist, he's a sir abi Knight or whatever they give them... I was there when he died. And I was the one that held him last. I didn't wanna break the news here first. I decided to respect his children. And I was mourning. So calm down bro. .
For those that think this man is a conventional police man. He is not. He is better than most pastors you see today. He is the only policemen in history that genuinely climbed from the smallest rank of police (cadet or whatever) to the highest (an I.G). He is the best old/elderly person I've ever been with. He changed my misconception on old people. Even at his age and achievements he is a perfect gentleman. He is a wonderful man. His best friend is a very poor man. He literally built the man's life up. He is a great father, grandfather and friend. I kiss him a lot. I tell him I love him all the time. He is that sweet and kind. I always told him how glad I am to come into his life. And how I wish I met him during his active years. I always pray to be as calm and peaceful as he is when I am 85years old. Very courteous and gentlemanly. RIP my favorite grand pa pa(that's how i call him)..... Sir Etim Okon Inyang a rare gem (it's not a cliché. This is someone that deserves that line)
