Former Inmate Of Nteje Rehabilitation Center For Mentality Challenged Mrs Anene Receives Bungalow
The building project which was initiated by the Transition Committee Chairman of Awka South Council Area, Sir Leo Nwuba, was to support Mrs Anene who had successfully been rehabilitated at the Nteje rehabilitation center for the mentally deranged, set up by the wife of the Governor, Chief Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano.
That was after over thirty years Mrs Anene was declared missing by the family.

Presenting the keys to the house to the sixty-seven year old mother of two, Chief Mrs Obiano described the story of Mrs Anene as touching and tearful.

The Governor's wife recounted how the woman was picked up and taken to the Nteje rehabilitation home, adding that she surprised everybody when, after successfully responding to treatments, said she was from Umudioka, Awka, in Awka South Council Area.

Chief Mrs Obiano, who said the CAFE project, overlooks tribal segregations, implored people to eschew stigmatization of those who have physical or mental disabilities or those who have recovered from such ailments.
Earlier while handing over the keys to the Governor's wife, Sir Leo who pledged to cater for her feeding in the next one week, in addition to financial assistance to the beneficiary, said the testimony would not have been possible without Chief Mrs Obiano's humane disposition and kindness.
In their separate remarks, the Member Representing Awka South One Constituency at the State House of Assembly, Dr. Nnamdi Okafor, his Orumba South counterpart, Princess Nikky Ugochukwu, the Commissioner for Women and Children Affairs, Lady Ndidi Mezue, her Transport counterpart, Chief Uchenna Okafor, a philanthropist and one of the financiers of the project, Honourable Ifeanyi Nwigwe, said that the gesture provided clear picture of leading by example.

They commended the wife of the Governor for giving the needy a practical reason to smile.

For, Mrs Anene, the Governor's wife has written a story that will transverse generations, while her son, Mr. Chukwudi Anene, noted that the reunion with his mother has changed his life for the better.

Chief Mrs Obiano also pledged to furnish the house with two beds, a set of furniture and two standing fans, as the Commissioner for Transport, Chief Uche Okafor, will supplement with chairs and electronics.

More than forty farmers in Neni, Anaocha local government area are to be empowered by the Prime Minister of the the town, Chief Anthony Enukeme, as the community celebrates this year's New Yam festival (Iri Ji 2018).

The farmers are to be empowered with shuttle buses, Tricycles, Motorcycles, Wheel barrows, Ovens, among others.

Little will one wonder if the ABS of today is really a state owned media Station, owing to the numerous digitalised equipments and high quality media contents been produced.

Today, I was privileged to attend the exclusive event of the Unveiling of the official sponsors of ABS Film Series "NDUKA" which is produced in Igbo Language and translated in English Language.

I must commend the MD/CEO of ABS, Nze Uche Nworah, the initiators of this wonderful programme, Fidelity bank Pls (Sponsors) and Anambra State Government for this great feat for our dear state Anambra.

I hereby recommend this TV program Series "NDUKA" for all Ndi-Igbo and her sister tribes which will be shown every Wednesdays (at 8pm) and Sundays (2pm) at ABS channel 24.

In continuation of the directive by the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano, to clear the streets of Anambra State from mentally challenged persons, the Honorable Commissioner For Social Welfare, Children and Women Affairs, Lady Ndidi Mezue, personally, led the relocation team in identifying and relocating some of the mentally ill persons from major streets of Anambra State.

The Relocation team which was led by the Honorable Commissioner, spotted some of this category of individuals at Unizk and Juhel pharmacy Junctions both in Awka Capital Territory.

Few of the mentally ill persons that were picked up, were cautiously relocated to Nteje Home for Mentally challenged, following International best practice as instructed by the Executive Governor of Anambra State.

It will be recalled that since the appointment of Lady Ndidi Mezue, as the Commissioner For Social Welfare, Children and Women Affairs, over 15 raids have been carried out in the state, resulting in a number of identification and relocations to Nteje Home, where the Wife Of the Governor of Anambra State, Her Excellency Chief Mrs EbeleChukwu Obiano, provided shelter and is making sure the inmates were rehabilitated and reconciled with their families.

The stupid thing about these SE ipobs is that they are so confused and lack the ability to know what they even want.

One side will be saying one thing while another side will be saying something else.

The South South have begun playing aggressive politics with the defection of Akpabio while the SE will just be there cursing themselves and acting confused instead of joining in the politics.

Its only common sense that they should get connected to the center.

Their elders understand this but the mindless hormone infested youth just cannot reason beyond their emotions.

Tomorrow they will be the first to be screaming marginalization when they are actually the ones marginalizing themselves.

See APGA as a party is isolated to Anambra. No other SE state wants to have anything to do with APGA even when it is right under their noses so APGA is now localised.

Others are growing their base while APGA is dying off gradually.

Tell them.to connect to APC the ruling party and they will start shouting herdsmen as if they have never seen herdsmen before in their life or as if its the first time they have heard that name.

By the time PMB comes back in 2019 you will hear them making noise all over the place again that they are not recognized.

O.d.e, what have your state or tribe gain being under APC that make your state better than Aanambra or other states in southeast under PDP huh

Last we checked APC states dominated list of states that find it difficult to pay workers salaries and gratuities if not for political immaturity of this country I believe your state need APGA, APGA might be local but they are far better than rogues in APC
