After the relationship between Yoruba star actor, Saheed Balogun and his erstwhile wife, Fathia hit the rocks following allegations of infidelity, many didn't notice that on 16 June, 2008, the actor held a secret traditional wedding with another lady known as Omoh in Ekpoma, but the union has also gone sour.

Saheed has abandoned the London based Omoh since his romance with upcoming actress, Funke Adesiyan, began recently. Although both Saheed and Funke have denied dating, a source close to them revealed that the light-skinned actor has abandoned his wife in London, while Funke has moved some of her things to his house at 36, Abike Jokogbola Street, Solebo Estate in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

The source explained that since Saheed’s romance with Funke is waxing stronger, to the extent that she has gradually moved in, Omoh was left with no choice than to move out of the house.

“She is aggrieved because Saheed was bringing Funke to their matrimonial home while she was in London. After their engagement, she relocated to Lagos, but it was Saheed that told her to go back to London and resume her work. She agreed, not knowing that he had his plans.

“It’s even more painful to Omoh because she lost her first job and car while trying to help Saheed in Nigeria. Everybody knows that she was the one helping him financially.

So it is unfair that he has decided to treat her this way,” the source said. It was also revealed that Omoh decided to pack out of Saheed’s house because she felt unsafe, considering how frequent Funke visited her matrimonial home. When reporters called Saheed on phone at about 12:46 p.m. on Thursday, he refused to comment on the issue.

He said: “The only thing I want to talk about now is the three movies that I’m working on. One of them is titled Sakojiya. As soon as the marketer responds to us, it will be out. Thank you.

” Meanwhile, an effort to speak with Funke has remained abortive, as the lady who picked her MTN line claimed that the reporter was calling a wrong number. Saheed’s marriage to Fathia also crashed in late 2006 following allegations of infidelity.

Gospel artiste, Lanre Teriba aka Atorise, says his wife has forgiven his worst trespass against her; fathering a child outside their marriage.

Atorise, who has reputation of being promiscuous, said those castigating him are not better in a recent interview he granted.

He said, “I had a child out of wedlock and I have apologised to my wife about it and she has forgiven me a long time ago. I don’t know why people cannot just forget about the past and move on. Even people who do worse things behind closed doors would come out in public to castigate me.

Media personality, Toke Makinwa in a new episode on her Vlog revealed she cannot buy a $15,000 Birkin bag.

At least not until she satisfy her immediate needs and settle some of her problems. The media personality and author in an episode titled, "5 things I cannot afford now" said,

"I love bags, shoes and the fine things of life. But if you gave me $15,000 right now I have so many problems.

I've got so many things that I can sort out. I cannot afford a Birkin bag."

However, if bought for her by someone else she would definitely rock it.

She also revealed she hates fake friends. According to her, "I cannot afford fake friends right now.

Of the topics Wizkid touched on during the five-minute long interview, his disclosure that his father was – in the early days – was averse to his music career was most striking.

Wizkid was once a student of Lagos State University before transferring to Lead City University after signing to Banky W’s Empire Mates Entertainment (EME). _ “My Dad used to fight me every time. ‘Don’t go to the studio, stay at home and study’. I just had my dreams and I followed them here. But now, people take pictures with him on the streets,” he told Channel 4.

“He’s just so proud, and that’s my joy to make them happy.”

Wizkid said Afrobeats and Afropop sounds will eventually influence the music coming out of the Western scene and ultimately “take over the world”. _ “Music is a universal language, you don’t need to understand what someone is saying to feel the music or love the music. For me, I feel like it’s just gonna bring this industry (Afrobeats) mainstream. It’s going to do a lot, it’s going to contribute, and probably take over the world,” he noted.

“Everyone has a little bit of Afropop sound-inspired. Look at Drake on his last album (“Views”), look at Alicia Keys with what she is doing right now with the sound on ‘In common’. Everything is coming back home.” Wizkid asserted that music is the only source of joy for people on the African continent, adding that it is what endears Africa to the world.

Popular Kuchi Kuchi Singer, Jodie has emotionally revealed the struggles she went through during childbirth and the shock to hear that her son was diagnosed with Lissencephaly and Cerebral Palsy after two weeks.

"At a point during childbirth, my labour was extended, it was not progressing as we thought it would. So I had to do emergency CS. I feel grateful, my boy celebrated his first birthday recently. So saying this now, I'm remembering the birth. When they induced me, I slipped into unconsciousness at a point. I felt like I was in a void. It was me, myself and I for real, "

Speaking on her child, she said that when her son, Chinua was born he didn't cry for nine hours .

"My boy, after the labour issues and all of that, it affected him, he didn't cry for nine hours. They had to refer us to another hospital because of that. Thank God he later cried. When he was admitted, doctors said, oh! he is going to be this and that. We finally went home. Two weeks later, I started noticing the depression in his head. We had to do lots of scan and eventually they diagnosed that he had cerebral palsy and Lissencephaly.

After her son was diagnosed, Jodie revealed that at a point she was being advised by doctors to leave her son with her mother else she would run crazy.

Barely 2months In Jail, Seun Egbegbe Cries For Help After Failing To Meet Bail Conditions


Popular Nigerian filmmaker, Seun Egbegbe is complaining about the strict nature of his N5 million bail which he was granted since February 24, 2017.

Seun Egbegbe, who has spent two months in Ikoyi prison for theft, revealed that he is unable to find two sureties with the profile required by the court.

The judge had reportedly ruled that the two sureties in the like sum of N2.5 million each must be: a civil servant on level 16 who deposits his international passport, and a property owner in Lagos metropolis who deposits a certificate of occupancy.

Both sureties are also to be mandatorily profiled with their office and home addresses verified.

“Where do they expect him to get the sureties? who would leave the passport and certificate of occupancy with the court until the case which may last four years ends?” a close associate of Egbebe stated. “Who will risk losing N2.5 million as surety for a case that has not even really started?”

Mr Egbegbe was arrested and detained in February 2017 over allegedly attempting to defraud a couple of Bureau de Change operators.

On Monday, the controversial filmmaker, was arraigned a third time for alleged serial frauds following the amendment of charges against him by the police.

Nigerian pop star, Wizkid is getting set to drop the visuals for his single with Drake, 'Come Closer'.

The track had leaked earlier this year but Wizzy's new management had contained it before it escalated beyond control. Behind the scene footages from the video has already flooded the internet as the 'Daddy Yo' crooner shared the photos on both his Twitter and Gram accounts.

The, 'Come Closer' video is directed by Alex Ferguson, who happens to be Beyonce's in-law and Solange husband. He has also worked with Jay Z and popular Nigerian singer, Jidenna. The video will tell a story of the growth of a young African legend who started from the scratch and is creating his own wave that is taking him places all over the world.

However, behind the scene photos shows one of the main acts in the Song, Drake has been missing at all the shoots. The popular Canadian rapper has so far released 3 different tracks with Wizkid but the two have never been spotted or snapped together.

US based Nigerian singer, Sean Tizzle is currently in the country to promote his latest project, 'Moving Forward' EP. Over the week, during his media rounds, he attended the Ikorodu Õgâ party in Lagos where he ran into his former producer, D Tunes, who helped him with his first hit track, 'Sho Le'.

The close friends fell apart in 2015 after, D'Tunes signed on five new acts into the label at the same time, a move Sean Tizzle believed was a threat to his career which made him dump Difference Entertainment Music Label to become a solo artiste.
