Miss Kedike Chidinma Your Silence Lately Is Rather Annoying Than Golden.

As a very concerned fan, I’m deeply worried about your inactivity lately in the music industry. The last quarter of the year is lurking around the corner; your fans are starved as you have not served any meaningful tune lately. Oh please don’t remind me about the few features you graced this year. In my candid opinion, none of those songs can be nominated on any award show as “Collaboration of the Year”. Let me prove to you I am a fan, I will possibly name all songs you have been featured that I am aware. “I Am A Winner”, “All I Want is You”, “Mama”, “Bless Me”, that means I have been keeping up. Unfortunately, none of those songs has inspired much of an applause. It was another song with Miss Kedike.

You brought home KORA award as the Best Female West African Act in 2012, can you do that now in 2016? I mean can you win an award now over Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade, or maybe even a Simi? Except that must be a charity award. It’s been four years since you bagged an award, ain’t you hungry for one now? A lot has changed since you dropped your debut studio album roughly four years ago. Let me remind you a bit. New talents are now on the block, some have already released solid debut albums. I’m sure you are aware of Lil Kesh, Kiss Daniel, Adekunle Gold. In a bit to be fair let me remind you of Simi, Aramide these girls are killing it will their voices. Besides, there is Seyi Shay in the block, Yemi Alade has since left your class as she has two albums to her name and with strong claims as “Mama Africa”. I dare not mention Tiwa Savage, ain’t nothing stopping her not even here marriage and her new kid, she is headed worldwide.

As a fan, I can’t say which direction you going with your music. I got news of your exit from Capital Hill Records, and wide speculations you have pitch tent with Flavour’s 2nite Entertainment. Hold on a second, is the Nigerian economy directly impacting your music? One thing that bugs me is your propensity to kiss your male counterparts in music videos or during a stage performance, never mind, it’s none of my business. I sincerely hope you know there is no sleeping on a bicycle as music in Nigeria is concerned.

I hate to say this, after your successful run with “Eni Mi Baller” it seems you took a chill pill, pulled a back seat and became nonchalant. Earnestly we miss the attitude you brought into your popular songs “Eni Mi Baller” and “Kedike”. Why are you still being referred to as “Miss Kedike”? It’s simple; there has been nothing really impactful you have done to be christened after, SMH. You seriously have to thank MTN and Coca-Cola for giving you flashes of the Spotlight. I begin to wonder what would have been your fate without them. I wouldn’t want to imagine.

I have suddenly lost interest in bearing my thoughts and those of numerous fans about you. This is where I end my tirade. Dear Miss Kedike you can do better.

Last week south south rapper, Yung6ix reportedly almost lost his life after he revealed that a friend tried to shoot him, he has revealed the fellow as P.R.E, the singer son of former petroleum minister, Dan Etete

Yung6ix has given him, 3days to pay for damages done to his apartment or else he won't have a good week.

In a post directed to P.R.E, Yung6ix said;

"I wasn't gonna expose you fuckboy, but you gone on IG with no remorse after trying to take my life, and post BS. Your father might be able to keep you out of Jail with his money, but he definitely can't keep you away from Karma and God. You have 3 days to pay all you and your boys destroyed at my house. You feeling like Tony ye, don't forget about Sosa Fuckboy. I ain't promoting violence but at the same time I ain't promoting silence"

Moments after issuing his threat, P.R.E took to social media to announce that his music video with Yung6ix will be dropping soon... This move has led to confusion as some now believe it might be just another publicity stunt while others think its a daring statement aimed at pissing Yung6ix...

Beauty Queen, Namtumbwe, who was in the VIP section, at the recent club Mega Fest event that was held at Sheraton gardens, Uganda, ran on stage as soon as Sauti Sol got there and tried to force a kiss on Bien-Aime who embarrassed the former Miss Uganda.

It started when Baraza sat at the edge of the stage while singing emotionally and Namtumbwe swiftly put her mouth on his groin and was about unzipping his trousers before she quickly withdrew, laughing back to her initial position, as the crowd screamed and booed her.

Bien-Aime Baraza, who is in a relationship with a Nigerian lady named Chiki Onwukwe, was having none of that and angrily left the stage.

This video shows the standoff that happened at LUTH between actress Toyin Aimakhu and members of Mayowa Ahmed's family.

Toyin was accused of calling popular blogger, Linda Ikeji and reported that the #SaveMayowa campaign was a fraud.

The actress has since come out to issue a press statement telling her own side of the story.. Read below ...

"In view of the recent happenings around Mayowa Ahmed's ill health and the many allegations of fraud surrounding the funds raised, it has become imperatv that I come clean by stating my side of the story and by implications, set the record straight.

When I got wind of Mayowa’s sickness, I was moved to tears and immediately sought to know how I could help, hence my on-the-spot video which went viral as my genuine intervention.
Indeed, I was overwhelmed by the quick response of well-meaning Nigerians to whom I will forever owe a debt of gratitude.
But all this changed yesterday, Thursday 28th, July, when I went to the hospital in the morning to check as well as follow up on Mayowa. Her brother had told everyone to leave them alone because they wanted privacy.

Although I was shocked at the sudden change in attitude, especially the tone of communication, I still did not suspect anything was amiss.
However, on my way out, I received a call from one Aramide Kasumu of Life Stake Foundation, who would later claim the whole Mayowa Ahmed fund raiser was a scam. Importantly, she wanted to know the extent of my involvement and in her words, “so that when they are giving their reports, I would not be roped into it”. She went further to state that the family deceived everyone in the first place by raising funds for Mayowa despite the fact that her case was helpless and the hopes of her survival was near impossible. She seemed to know so much, I reckoned.

Upon hearing this, I was appalled and in a bid to clear my name, I went back to the hospital in palpable anger and demanded explanations from all concerned. Perhaps, I overreacted when I went into a rage of anger over the matter with the CSO. I then alerted the Police PRO, who invited the parties involved to the police command.

I want to state for the record that I have never been a fraud and will never partake in one, not even at this stage of my career (which I hold to heart). All my efforts were strictly on humanitarian grounds without recourse to any pecuniary consideration or the resort to cheap fame"

Popular Fuji singer, Saheed Osupa for some time has been alleged of portraying himself as Agba Akin of Omoleland, a honorary title presently held by the former World Cruiserweight champion of the world, Bash Ali, and this has caused controversy in Omole land.

Omole Community leaders, Lagos, have now issued a seven-day ultimatum to the Fuji singer to issue a letter of apology for falsely portraying himself as Agba Akin of Omoleland or face necessary actions.

In a statement issued by Alhaji Nosiru Bakare, the Baale of Omole, he said at no time was Saheed Osupa installed as Agba Akin of Omoleland in Lagos, as the Agba Akin of Omole inscribed on the compact disc of Osupa was illegal “because I did not install him.”

According to Alhaji Nosiru, “To put the records straight, you were given the Agba Akin title in Ifo Local Government Area of Ogun State. The jurisdiction of Ifo Local Government does not extend to Omole in Ikeja. You have no power to arrogate to yourself the title of Agba Akin of Omole Land.

“You cannot claim a chieftaincy title in Lagos State without the knowledge of the Omole Community. Your action is embarrassing to the people of Omole and we are by this giving you seven days notice to issue a letter of apology to the community or face legal action. Your apology should be forwarded to the Omole community through our Secretary and published in three national dailies.”
