zlantanfan: yes a better Nigeria is all we want but one can't help but remind political amateurs who think they know something about Nigeria politics that they are actually empty with the vane perspective over and over again Bragging right again! PDP won 4 presidential elections and dominated the political space for almost 2 decades. Nothing unusual that buhari now won twice. Emphasis Buhari. That doesn't make you an authority and pdp folks amateurs. 2023 we go again may God grant us life. Amateurs are the ones drunk on buhari! |

Baselm: Kwara has not had a female deputy Governor in the last 20 years and it is set to continue for another 4 years at least. How many female commissioners were appointed by Saraki and his stooge in 16 years. it is easy to celebrate women on twitter, that is why they will continue to win their votes on twitter and lose at the polling units. Kwara had female NASS members and CJ being deputy governor is not the only measure of involvement. |

Politics › Re: Happening Now In The Seat Of The Caliphate by tuniski: 10:18am On Mar 08, 2019 |
zlantanfan: serial looser, is it tambuwal, dakwambo that couldn't win their state?
Kano, Kaduna ,bauchi, sokoto, jigawa would go smoothly for apc.
Taraba, gombe one would go to apc (guaranteed)
Adamawa would go to apc (atiku struggled to win it for himself even on ballot, now he isn't on ballot).
Do you realise it was even harder a task to get buhari reelected (with the various hitches) yet Buhari did extremely well how much more local indigenous politics. Buhari is the classic definition of serial loser!!! Tomorrow the states will decide based on their local dynamics let's watch and see. There is no need getting overtly excited cos of buhari's reelection the focus now must be governance. A better Nigeria is all we crave not bragging rights! |

ureportsAbuja: Tambuwal Goes On Bended Knees To APC http://247ureports.com/2019/03/tambuwal-goes-on-bended-knees-to-apc/ - In Tambuwal’s calculation, he may not be able to pull a victory under the PDP banner in light of the political wave favoring the APC. Our source reveals the Governor has thus resorted to reaching out to the political stalwarts across the aisle pleading for the March 9, 2019 election to be managed in a manner to deliver him at the polls. Our reveals that Tambuwal has dispatched agents to the APC national chairman pleading for the APC chairman to set activities motion to enable his victory. He promised to return to the APC should he win. Trash |

CoolAmbience: That is the problem with you people....over sabi!
Can you name the landmark achievements of the PDP in Delta state over the past 20 years?
Atleast I know Delta State well from Warri to Ogwashi-uku, Onicha-ugbo, Ibusa, Asaba to Kwale, Oleh, Abraka, Ozoro to Ughelli, Mosogar, Jesse to Sapele and Asaba, including Patani.
If you read my post well...you'd have seen where I said 'it is not about party'. Una nor dey like read...
I am talking about result-oriented leadership; governance that addresses the concerns of the masses i. e. job creation, human capital development, infrastructure etc.
Go and see the quality of roads being constructed by states in the North. Do you even know the average of what your state receives as monthly allocation, let alone how it is deployed? What are the projects of DESOPADEC? Do you know their annual budgets and programs?
Why should Delta state be owing penshioners? Why? What is your state's monthly IGR and how is it being deployed for the people's common good?
What is happening to SONGHAI farm? Why are other mechanized farms not springing up? Where are the factories and industries?
Why are there so many jobless youths in Delta state, just following politicians up and down? Do these things not bother you more than political parties? Stop comparing Delta state with northern states. The conservative north is the most backward in Nigeria. It cost a quarter of sum to construct roads in the north to those in Niger delta. |

garfield1: Oga,speaking the truth or talking childishly is not a good legislative virtue in Nigeria.we measure performance by how much impact he's had on his constituents through empowerment projects, scholarships, helping them to secure empowerment, attracting projects etc.of what use is him criticizing buhari while he uses his constituency allowance to buy the latest cars while his people are wallowing in poverty ? Diino will Win election in his zone over and over again cos his people understand what being a legislator entails. Dino is the best senator of the 8th assembly. He will be the best in the 9th. |
