The message from the statement of the OP is that other bank can still pay today. If they credit you and your got alert by midnight or even tomorrow, the Koko remain that , you have been paid.

Union can't pay now. This is because Union bank unites other banks in collaboration with Unity bank. So other banks have to receive first before both Unity and Union. If they receive before other banks, where's the union in that?

I still believe civil servants in Rivers State need to check their union leaders and their relationship with politicians. This whole issue with salaries started since February and till this moment, not even a single statement or apology has been tendered from the relevant authorities as regards the irregularities with payments. Is this suddenly the new norm we should get used to?,Now it is one or two banks per day payment pattern? Every day it becomes clearer why people don't take civil service jobs seriously.

I just got a 15k alert from Rivers State Government. Have they started refunding the last month's deduction?

February, I was underpaid. March, no salary.....Ministry of finance, una do this one.

I am with Union Bank, from SSSB. I am yet to receive any alert and I have checked my balance too.

This is exactly what I was complaining about last week. When money entered my account last week, Union Bank didn't deduct the excess. They deducted the entire salary amount they paid initially.

With this sole administrator, just forget about salaries being paid on time. Accept it whenever you see it.....

I am just seeing all these messages now because my phone has been bad. I was paid N148k, the extra pay was N68k after loan and pension deductions. I thought it was minimum wage arrears that day and I spent the money on my rent. I was later told that it was an error by my colleagues. However, I received a payment of N100k in that same union bank salary account which I believed they would deduct the N68k and leave my balance. Unfortunately, they took everything and still kept my account on -N80k. This I do not understand. Is it that I wasn't suppose to receive salary last month? This mistake is just not good at all...From now on I won't touch any extra money until I get full confirmation from majority of our colleagues.
