That is why a whole lot of you have heartaches because you have refused to see things realistically. You met a system seven years ago and I agree that the system need to be overhaul, but is not enough to say, we are begging to be paid.

Agitation were made sometimes ago, and the man in charge, promise to look at those issues you mention above and to act on the agreed recommendations effective from October, allow him fail his part first.
When you choose to be a teacher, you equally accepted to be a member of teachers union, to start the struggle, join the NUT leadership and use that platform to press for our collective good.

Am not and cannot defend the govt but like its being said, we should get other SOURCES of livelihood, to stop OVERDEPENDENCE on this SALARY, that is the crux of the matter until anticipated changes are made.
