Most men develop a frightening level of ego as they hit puberty through adolescent in an increasing order, they get severely embarrassed If anyone disagrees with them and lash out in unpredictable ways to cope with that negative feeling. Naturally they expect their woman to go along with whatever good or bad (but it's all good in their minds) they may present and not question it, any disagreement is translated as a challenge and usually met with swift rebuttal and intense aggression.

Educated people to some extent have more exposure and are better aware of what facilitates their joy, so naturally they won't back down on some important issues despite the barbaric behavior of such men, this ultimately leads to all levels/manners of conflicts with mild to devastating outcomes depending on fate.

On a related note, is that OTTO pyramid scheme opportunity a ponzi scheme also?

I noticed some people are happy about the Student Loan

Some even said "Tinubu can continue, he is taking hard decisions".

For that reason, I have decided to break down the smokescreen called Student Loan

It's just an attempt to remove "Education Subsidy" without causing an uproar.

Now let's dive in:

Who qualifies for the Student Loan:

The simple answer is: NOBODY.

It's almost impossible for you to qualify for the Student Loan and here is why

1. An applicants or his parents must provide tax clearance: This is not totally bad till you see number 2.

2. The Applicants or his parents must be earning total income less than #500k a year. Now slow down and do the maths

To earn #500k a year means that the husband and wife are earning less than #41,000 a month. That is #20,000 each

While minimum wage is #30,000

Which means if your both parents are earning, you are automatically disqualified because they are either earning more than #41,000 or they do not pay tax because you cannot pay tax on salary below minimum wage

3. Now here is the high jump of the Act: These 2 people earning less than #50,000 will now have to provide a DIRECTOR IN CIVIL SERVICE and a LAWYER OF 10YEARS IN SERVICE as Guarantor

Take into consideration, yourself doing good for your self, do you know DIRECTOR in Civil Service?

But that is not the worst part

4. The Director and Lawyer has to surety that if you default, they will pay the loan

Do you know what that means, NO DIRECTOR WILL TAKE SUCH SURETY.

But here is the worst part

5. After you meet all these requirements, will you get the loan? NO!

The act said "Loan will be given when funds are available. In other terms, you are still at the mercy of the “system"

In summary:

If you add your father and mother's income monthly, it must not be more than #41,000 a month or #500,000 a year

Your father and mother must look for a Director in Civil Service to Surety your loan

The Director will send his Payslip document to the Bank saying that if you fail to pay, he will pay. Who will do this one for you?

Did I tell you that the Bank MD will be the one to give approval? Bank MD !

Did I also tell you that if you don't start repaying after 2years of graduation, you will go to jail 😩

Many graduate have not even gone to NYSC in 2years after graduation

The worst part now is: School Fees will go up above the loan amount because Federal Government has announced that they cannot continue to fund University

So if you are reading this, you are not qualified for the Loan.

They have perfected the art of misssdirection, that's for sure!

I am so glad to have been wrong about this program, at least this way, some lucky Nigerians will benefit from it even if i happen to not be successful at the end of it all. Good luck us all going forward!

Does this mean that the program has been scraped? No wonder as it's campaign season, oh well may God provide us with much better opportunities going forward.

I am glad i found this information regarding the nature of the competency based panel interview, apparently it is quite a lengthy interrogation.

It seems they have resumed with the hiring process, i have been scheduled for virtual competency-based panel interview via Microsoft teams. wish me luck and success please.

I had my medicals on the 12th of November and I haven't heard back from them since. Anyone here in a similar boat?

Also, any ideas when this Tech Academy batch is likely to resume?

From what i have read, from earlier in this thread, the process can be very fast or quite sluggish, there was no mention as to why that is, it's best to keep busy and hope to hear from them when they are ready.

I suppose we keep praying and hoping things turn out for the best - in the end. May success be ours.

I was asked to redo my documentation and resend my C.V, please is anybody here aware as to why such a thing happened?

It takes time to get to hear from them after documentation…but if your credentials are okay and you passed the assessment,you’ll definitely hear from them

It's December already and nothing from GTCO still, please do they send rejection letter if your credentials were somehow unsatisfactory to the hiring officials during the documentation phase after passing the initial assessment test?

P.S I did the documentation and sent them my C.V as requested on the 20th of November. does it take this long for them to review the credentials and invite one for an interview or reject them?

I did my documentation on 21st November, I do hope I hear from them soon.
