Me...chemistry

Vo... Who's sponsoring you?
Me...I got a full time employment assistantship that qualifies me for a full tuition and supplementary fees waiver and a monthly stipend of $2019.

Vo...what will ur PhD do for u
Me... I will like to be a university lecturer and researcher in the university where I did my undergraduate degree

Vo.. I would be approving your visa..gave me a white paper.

I wasn't asked for any documents but I brought all the broughtables.

There are major mistakes that can ruin your interview even if you get admitted into Harvard.

Lack of confidence...smiling brings confidence.
I was nervous too..but I smiled from the beginning of the process till the end..that boosted my confidence.

Not looking into the consular's face.

Speaking in an inaudible tone

Not answering the exact questions asked

Other factors are based on the individual's specific case.

FILL YOUR DS160 YOURSELF
FILL YOUR DS160 YOURSELF
DON'T LIE IN THE FORM...BE SINCERE
Focus on your interview... Don't listen to bloody stories
Don't let the guys at the gate disturb u at all..No matter what they say, don't listen to them.
Take all the necessary things you need

Congratulations! How is it possible to get PhD with Bsc

Visa denied at Lagos embassy yesterday;

Me: Good morning, how are you doing
VO: Good morning

VO: passport, i20
Me: passed

VO: why do you want to study in the US
Me: cos USA has one of the best educational system in the world

VO: what state is UB located
Me: Connecticut

VO: why UB
Me: UB has a center for career development which will help in elevating my career, has smart technology-equipped classrooms. Also, it gives the opportunity of a dual degree. I can run MBA program with it.

VO: why management science
This got me cause the course I'm going for is 'analytics and systems'. Though it's stated on the i20 that SEVIS calls it management science.

Me: It's 'analytics and systems'. It's stated on the i20 that sevis calls it management science. (trying to explain to him)

VO: blue paper

Open for constructive criticism and suggestions. My background is statistics.

Bunmip:
Hello wonderful people,

I actually just finished booking an appointment date and i just noticed the school address i submitted during the ds 106 is different from the address on my I-20. The address i submitted during the Ds-106 was the address of the graduate admission of my school which is different from what i just noticed on my i-20.
This is the only thing i noticed and i dont know if it will have effect. If the VO ask during my interview, I'll tell him/her the truth but I'm scared becasue of the mistake.

Please can anyone share some light? Can this really have effect? I had every other thing correct.

Do you still get an appointment date for this year?

Which US embassy has higher chance of granting F1 visa, Lagos or Abuja? Also, which one gives earlier appointment date?

[quote author=Nateben post=52561894]Hello guys, I want to wish you all a wonderful new year.

I was the guy that gave a testimony of how I got a job I was not qualified for.

So around Dec last year, I was moved to a warehouse around 5 Star bus stop via Oshodi express, where I worked with a lady, but unfortunately, she went back to school this Jen, and my supervisor just called to tell me, and also asked me to let him know if I have someone to replace her. So, I need one more person, a guy to be precise.

Before you contact me, just know that the job is 100% writing. You have a box full of documents, all you have to do is, write down the box number, open it and write down all the docs inside, NB..... Some of the boxes contain more that a thousand docs insde, and you have to write them down.... It's a job for people who are good in writing.

It's 20k per week, most of the time they pay after two weeks, but your money must be complete, we work for a bank not individual.

I don't want to drop my contact here for reasons best known to me. So if you are interested, drop your location and phone number, let's see how it goes.

Job to resume on 16th, so hurry.

Hello guy, I wish I could help more than one person, but I can't, I've contacted someone already, and by God's grace, he/she will testify here, I promise to contact you guys if any other thing comes up. Keep believing and good luck.
