EducationRe: N10,000 Prize For UNN Best Graduating Medical Student Causes Outrage (Photos) by twinklemaia(f): 12:08pm On Aug 08, 2017
Why don't we read or process information before joining the bandwagon......

It was from the association!!!! When I also graduated some donkey years ago from my department as the best graduating female student I also got N10,000 from a kitty. It's only a show of recognition and appreciation
PoliticsRe: TSA: Court Orders Seizure Of $793.2m Hidden In Banks (Names of banks) by twinklemaia(f): 6:59pm On Jul 20, 2017
This is sad. There is no justification for any bank to still withold these funds after 2 years of the directive.

Some of these Banks paid penalties then but were unwilling to change their ways. The sanctions then were very stiff and Buhari refused all entreaties to reduce the penalties. It is only a dishonest management that continues to run their banks aground through bad decisions. My pity goes to the marketers who always pay trying to explain away their stupidity.

PoliticsRe: Akeredolu Flags Off Planting Of Gmelina Aboree On 10,000 Hectares In Ondo (Pics) by twinklemaia(f): 9:44pm On May 25, 2017
Always wanted to see massive investment of this sort by our governors to encourage investment.
Have no idea what they planted (will Google soon) but very proud of the initiative. Hopefully the government remains committed and does not turn this to an Elephant project
PoliticsRe: Wheelbarrow: David Mark Mocks Ortom; Ortom Says He's Jealous Of His Achievement by twinklemaia(f): 6:09pm On May 25, 2017
TBH, Mark is not qualified to tender a negative comment against the new governor considering that he has occupied privileged positions for much of his life for which the impact is not very significant in his local territory nor the state at large.
That said the Wheel Barrow empowers a certain class of youth (farmers, Park etc) but we expect much more to significantly reduce the incidence of unemployment.
CrimeRe: 'we Live In Fear In Indonesia' Nigerians Cry As 'kabaka' Pictures Surface by twinklemaia(f): 4:59pm On Apr 27, 2017
Igbos from time immemorial have been hardworking people but their youths have deviated to vices especially drugs. The habit of glorifying wealth needs to be reined in.
Met an Igbo 'prophet' who claims to pray for drug couriers....... that day, I GAVE UP cry
