I just want to encourage all the e sisters never to give up coz God has not given up on us.I remember when the doc said my enemy has azospermia.God told me I am married to my husband because of this period.I started looking for a way out and realise I have to go in for ivf.I want us to understand the problems that is causing infertity in our lives and go in for the solution.
@praisefulmum give God praise and ask the spirit of God to direct you on the way forward.

@twintower, I loggd in jst to drop a msg 4u. Sfa done afta one week of abstainace wil definitly get u zero result. Pls go and do it, eida a standard lab or some oda hospital. Abstain for jst two days and do d sfa d 3rd day preferably in d morn. Anoda tin is don't open d bottle until dh want to put d sperm inside and close it tight. If u r going from d house mk sure d sample reaches d hospital not later than 30mins and kip it warm wrapped in a cloth or hanky or anytin to kip it warm. Above all mk sure dh is not stressed b4 producing d sample. Do all these let's see if d result remains same so ul no wat step to take. My 2cents. May jehovah be with us all.gdmorn

@twintower, vitex does not contain any hormone but jus works on the pituirity glands to stimulate the brain to do what it ought to do which means a man can take it, the monks take it to lower their libido that is why it is called "chaste berry" but you need to do some more research to know how your dh can take it cos prolong use might lower libido which is not good for him at the moment, but i think it might help balance his hormones or maybe you should look for herbs to help balance male hormones.....its time to do your work o! you are a wife and mother to your dh, give him all the support he needs now...encourage him to do some research or visit the below links cos there are lots of hope out there

I've a colleague that had been trying for like 6months and I advised her to do hsg which she did and got pregnant that same month. I believe the hsg helped so fear fear mamas, brace urself togeda and do it. Lol

Thanks for the concern.the doc said my dh problem is that his FSH is abit high.I don,t know what to give him to bring it down. Can a man take vitex?

@twintower. It is well with your dh. U just need to keep encouraging him.BTW ave u seek a second opinion? If no, I will advice he do it somewhere else to be sure of d result.
Secondly, how did e produce d sample? How w e produced it really count .
Iet me share with you what my dh told sometimes around last year.
He said when e was in school e had a girlfriend then and d day d lady was ready for him to have sex with her that e discovered e didn't have attention at all. The lady tried all she could for dh to get attention but all to no avail. That was what prompted him to go for d semen analysis and d result read there is no sperm at all. He said they didn't release the result for him. He said he quikly called his brother that is a doctor and the doctor said hope e didn't use soap to produce d semen and e said yes that he put soap in his hand so that it can be easy to produce. He now said he should test again and produce without soap. That was when e got the real result. Although the count was low but it is better to knw the real figure than treating blindly.
And to God be the glory the issue of low sperm count has bcm a thing of the past.

I pray soon you will testify to God goodness and we shall all celebrate with you. Just be positive and retest to be sure of what to deal with.
This too shall pass.

My dear I really appreciate your concern.thank you. We bd before they collect the sample.the hospital has a special room for that.we are going to retest and i pray the will be a better result.we did not bd for a week before the test and the doctor said it is good we bd three days before the test.
My confusion is that there were no sperm in his semen whether dead or alive.
This is the only place I can draw strength.I cannot even tell my closest sister.

Bcolah my sister,it has not been easy.I am watching my dh sliming down every minutes of the day.the thought of having no sperm count is giving him sleepless night.how can I help him even forget about this is a big problem to me.please tell me what you have been doing and if you have experienced any count.I read your post and realised I have to be strong.

I have not stop crying since the day I came back from the hospital.little things make tears roll down from my eyes.but I have to be strong for him.

Congratulation dear,you have really tried all these years before you conceived.please did you do ivf with the fibroid?the doc said because of the sperm count of my husband,I may do ivf but I have fibroid and he said I have to remove it first.all this process will take about 2million naira.please can you give me some advice.

I think I am in hot soup again ooo, ook I put to bed 4months ago to beautiful baby Xenia (Thank God). Still having the imaginary pains down there though. Now the big blow, for the past 4days, I have been having the exact feelings I had when I was newly pregnant for Xenia. I bought the pregnancy kit to do a home test but seriously, I am afraid to do the test. I dont think i am ready for another stress. Oh God! i am so so confused.

@twintower it is well with you dear. Pls and pls, before you think about donor whatever, try to solve the equation. What is the cause of the zero count? Does he have an active infection? Does he expose the family jewel to any kind of heat including but not limited to using hot bath, keeping laptop on his laps, seating for a long time? Does he eat wrongly?(too much sugar, processed foods, less fruits/vegies,smoking/drinking, etc) Does he dress properly?(wearing loose boxers during the day and leaving the family jewel free at night to reduce heat on the area) Does he have a visible varicose vein on the jewel? these are just a few things that can affect the power house with its function. Second in all, let him see a urologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. It can be treated. You can also use supplements but its better to get the root cause for faster treatment. This too shall pass. Above all, there's a god that healeth. Cry to Him as He's still God and will never change. and ust to us awaiting mamas.

Please someone should advice me on what to do.I am so confused but I know this result is not from God almighty.I went to the hospital and my test result says I am okay but dh has no sperm at all.I have never heard of such thing.my sisters what do I do to reverse this.I am frustrated in my spirit but I know God will lift up this burden and give me a lighter one.I cannot even cry because he will feel very bad.please helpe with your advice

@jumayin,just pull yourself together and know that you are closer to your testimony .

@dasha. My dear surrogacy is well planned and the woman the hospital use is a registered member of that hospital and has nothing to do with the parents of the child.except it is different in Nigeria where you are to bring a woman of your choice but that is risky.

surrogate mothers gives birth,goes under medical care for six month or a year depending on how fast she can carry another baby.it is her own business and has nothing to do with the parents of the child.hope this helps.

Well dear God never allowed me to TTC, infact it happed so fast that I started contemplating dirty things (God forgive me) cos I wasn't really ready for it. Was focusing more on my career. Then there is this my Uncle's wife that has been TTCing for 20+ years, she first noticed I was pregnant and placed her hand on my stomach and said “lil baby, bless me as God has blessed your mom" ****seriously I had to shed some tears cos I saw the pain, agony, misery and all in her eyes**** that moment I had a rethink about my life, career, baby and my hubby.

Could you believe that God answered this woman's prayer there and then ( this inspired her name XENIA meaning welcoming or hospitable person). She put o bed few months ago to a beautiful daughter too.

God is still in the business of doing miracles, if my Aunt can get pregnant at 40+ what about you that still has the youthful strength and energy. He is remembering you now, yes I mean you and the time is now.

I also want to say that we should try and visit the hospital so we know what the problem is.we should not TTC blindly.
Check your bmi and adjust your weight.

Dear you don't have to be depressed.I want you to know that progesterone hormone can give you same symptoms like pregnancy.sometimes also because of high expectations,our bodies will mimick those symptoms that are in our brain.
Try to remove your mind from it.I remember a month that I had all the symptoms I even vomited and had to do hpt immediately.i was very surprise that immediately i saw bfn,all the symptoms disappeared

Do we know the position when bding or we use our hand to check?

I have just browsed it and read that the cp can be checked with clean hands and if pregnancy has occurred, it will be high and soft

Fine, as much as u're doing ur part in trying to conceive, even if lets say, oh next week was the slated date for u to do ur test to confirm if u're. Even after doing that test, and it comes back Negative. God remains God. Worship him for that. He's all seeing and all knowing. Don't fret. Don't even entertain the thought of 'oh, all ds fasting and all i did, so God didnt answer my prayer, na wa o'..these thoughts are the voices of the devil. And as a strong woman of faith, what u do is to silence that voice and worship God.
I don't knw hw u fast or pray, hpe u're not starving urself and thinking u're fasting, there is a difference and many don't know. whenever u're fasting, woman of faith, let it be in totality, pray, pray, worship God. And at the end of ur fast period, just say to him 'Lord let the essence of this Fast be made manifest in my life'.
Note, for God to work, u have to Provoke him to do the unusual. A certain man in the bible said he wont give God what will not Cost him anything.
Continue to pray for ur husband, show him love even while u notice d changes in his behaviour. do not go into thinking. U dnt have to think, live the thinking aspect to God. Don' take the place of God.
Ask God for Grace,mercy and protection, and that God in the face of problems, adversity, my faith will not wither nor slack.
