[quote author=Chiziteremary post=116585941]Congrats. May the land of Canada favour u in Jesus name.

Good evening all, please I am new in this forum and want to ask some questions concerning PhD programs in Canada.

I am 43yrs now and had my Bachelors in Biotechnology in 2008 and MBA in 2018. I want to do PhD in any of the courses but don’t know the one that will be easily accepted in Canada on scholarship.please advice me if you have any idea.
I have tried US but they have refused me twice,I am confused and thinking if it is because of my age.
Please if it is possible, which school is good and how do I start the process? Will the US denial affect me in this?

I don’t mind if I can get an agent to put me through.
I am sorry for the long post, please help a sister
Thank you

For ppl staying at Enugu, I heard there is a good and affordable hospital at Assemblies bustop, new haven, Enugu. I was told the cost is less than 500k for everything , she advised they shouldn't bother trying natural conception, they should go ahead and transfer 3 eggs or the number of children they want at once as far as they can afford feeding and hiring nannies/house helps to assist.

I am interested mamatwiny, please get the contact for us, thanks

Why is this place so quiet, are we all pregnant? If we are not all pregnant then we have to keep the thread moving, please drop in something that can help others. For those with no reasons for infertility please this is your opportunity now that your hubby is around, don't allow him to rest, 7 times a week is OK to give you a testimony. Baby dust to us all, I can't wait to testify

I didn't say someone can't stay there. Just thought it was cheaper and time saving not to spend time in the town unnecessarily.

Oh OK darling, I thought it was because of the security

Azoospermia most times has no cure. Doctors will always try to treat but I believe in miracles. I will advise you opt for IVF immediately where your husband go through testicular sperm extraction. IVF is the best solution to this situation. Please more contributions from those who have overcome this situation. Just trust God mummy fruitfulvine

Sweetheart it is better you go for ivf direct, don't bother to contact any doctor, there is no cure. I am also in that same situation and I am going in for ivf

Didn't know they had a lodge. I stayed with a friend while there.
And seriously one doesn't need to spend even a night in that town if they are ready with cash. Book flights in advance so it's cheaper. Fly in first flight fly out at night, first day you can run tests and go home with drugs and instruction on how to use them. Second time like two weeks later drop eggs+sperm and third time implant etc.

Dear congratulations, please can you explain further for me to understand, why can't someone stay in that area?

Hello everyone good afternoon. I hope you are having a good Sunday. I’m trying not to get depressed. Please how much on average is IUI in Port Harcourt and who knows any good clinic that offers the services. I and my husband have been trying for a while with no luck even after all tests came out okay. Please I would be glad to get a response. Thank you

Sweetheart I suggest you use the advantage of this lock down and have sex regularly, in as much as your tests says you both are OK, regular sex can solve it. At least 4time a week 24 7,you can use preeseed to help you for lubrication. Try it dear

So I finally made the trip to most talked about clinic Grabbo. I and hubby made the trip all the way from ijebuode Ogun state to Abuja last week Wednesday. My observation were as follows: Nice environment, pleasant discussion with a doctor although I didn't get to see the main doctor herself, the ivf promo still on 600k for one cycle and 1M for three cycles.
So we decided to cycle with them by June cause that is the time I would be able to get time off work.
I hope to still get more positive reviews before my cycle and knowing mine would be positive too. Good morning every one.

Please how long is the promo, from your findings, how is the accommodation there??

Dear All,

My little advice is that, your mind set and focus matter a lot on IVF journey. No journey is easy at all. All the fertility hospital seen in Nigerian has a lot of weakness but we can only endure it for a while.

The Androcare some people complained about, my Nairaland friend cycled with them and she gave birth to (2girls and 1boy) in December and I've seen someone coming here to complain about Grabbo too, Ebony cycle with them too and she gave birth to a baby boy. Me, Kemi and some that I can't remember the actual name now cycled with kingswill too, even though some people gave birth recently while some are heavily pregnant now.

I remember in the process of IVF journey with Kingswill, I was thinking to leaving because of the way they attended to me but I remember my husband and kemi encouraged me to endure those things, that what I should be after is to carry my own baby.

My sisters and Brothers, I endure ooooo but the things was that, the kind of mockery that I passed through in the office, home and church is not even up to what I face in the IVF journey but today, it end in praise.

Sisters and brothers on the platform, Pray before you cycle with any hospital and have positive mind towards the process, believe that even if people are getting negative result, yours will be positive. The journey is not easy only the strong can ignore the hindrances and made it to the end.

My advice is that we should listen to our doctors too. I've strong believe that the journey will end in praise for everyone. Love you all

love you too darling, thanks for the encouragement

Reading through all the posts, I have realised that one of our problems here is getting a good doctor and hospital to do the procedure, many have the money but the doctors are frustrating the efforts because some of them are only out for the money,
We know our pains on how to gather the finance and courage to see that this journey ends, I can confess with tears that it is very stressful, my thought now is how can we help ourselves as concerns good hospital and doctor in different locations of the country
Please if you are here and can recommend a good hospital with proof of your testimony, please do and help others, God bless you

#DiscountedIVF

IvesMedicare Foundation, ( A registered Health NGO ), announces 50% discounted promotion in the cost of Invitro Fertilization (IVF) treatment for willing couples.

This initiative is in its 11th year.
We identified cost as a major factor militating against stemming incidences of Infertility in Nigeria , and this initiative aims to lighten up drastically the cost burden on couples who are experiencing delay in conception.

With close to 2000 IVF babies to the credit of our IVF clinic partners and with the historic success story of MRS AJIBOLA OTUNBUSIN, a 67yrs old mother who benefitted from the programme and delivered of a baby in 2018 thus becoming the oldest IVF mum in Africa, our belief in the prospects of IVF as a solution in infertility is further strengthened.
.
We are firmly determined to continuously make IVF accessible and relatively affordable to couples

Consult a fertility specialist and they will tell you what to do. There are many fertility hospitals in lagos, I think bridge is one of them, nordica also. I am not so sure
