Chelseafc News I'M WILLING TO PLAY IN PAIN Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is willing to play through the pain barrier for the remainder of the season despite sustaining a fresh ankle injury. The Belgian missed the Blues’ 2-0 defeat to Manchester United in April after injuring his ankle while on set of a photoshoot with the NBA. The 24-year-old’s been in great form this term but showed signs of discomfort during the second half of the club’s 3-0 win against Everton last weekend. According to the Evening Standard, Courtois has suffered a recurrence of his ankle injury and is under threat of missing parts of Chelsea’s run-in. However, at this moment in time, Courtois is said to be willing to play through the pain and believes he can deal with the level of discomfort for the next month.
