I’m a beginner in frontend development and i hope to get the most out of the HNi8 internship program.

Some of my Goals for the HNGi8 internship and what i intend to achieve after 8 weeks internship program

Some of the goals I’m pursuing to gain at this internship are as follows ;

Gaining work knowledge: I hope to gain some work knowledge on this internship as I’m well aware we will be working with professionals that are already in the working environment.

Communication skills: As we know, to achieve maximum output in workplace, one should be able to communicate efficiently and effectively with co-workers, i hope to improve on my communication skills be it written and oral.

Building a network of contacts: i hope to build a healthy relationship with people and likeminded students, frontend developers, etc.
Staying in touch with other likeminded students, frontend developers contacts made during the internship via email phone number, Twitter and other platforms for connecting with people.

Skills Improving on my frontend development skills such html, CSS, JavaScript and it’s frameworks.

Nobody collects 1300CAD in Canada a month doing a full time job even if it is cleaning toilet. Minimum wage is $14 per hour. If you are working full time (40 hours a week) cleaning toilets, you will earn 2240 CAD a month before taxes. Most people in those low category of work do overtime or 2 jobs. It won't be surprising seeing that person take up a weekend job where they will work for extra 10 hours over the weekend and make extra money.
Now, people in those category have a very low tax bracket. Canada does not have a flat tax for everyone,

A higher percentage of those people queuing to get food from food banks are living well, they’re just taking advantage of the opportunity so they can put the money meant for food to other use. And it’s a pandemic, a lot of people are not working so they need to be prudent on their spending.
Do not ever compare how things are in USA to Nigeria.
Poor and disabled people are entitled to some care over there, tell me what do those kind of people get here ?
